The main purpose of this computer was gaming and streaming and it has held its own. I built this computer to play most games at 144 fps 1080p high settings and while it doesn't all ways hit my peak expectations I am more than happy with my dope system.$1,108.95 -

I had been playing Elden Ring on my old Dell gaming laptop, but it was quite the wake up call that I needed a new PC if I was going to play more modern games. i wanted something that could run 1440p at max settings on any game, so I decided to build with these parts! Also many of them were very good deals using coupons and such at Micro Center$1,119.43 -

I played on a gaming laptop for awhile but it was time to build something for myself and call it my own. I built it to be able to play with my friends who also built their own PCs. Also there was quite the incentive when I realized the greater performance you get on a PC when compared to a console, especially when playing cross-platform games. I play Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, and Destiny 2 mainly. It definitely was a fun time putting it all together with the help of my roommates. I can definitely tell the difference from my Xbox One and my gaming laptop (which had a 1660ti in it). It runs very smooth and boots up super quick with the M.2 drive. At first I was a tad hesitant to get an AMD card because Nvidia is the top dog but so far, I've had no regrets as it has proven itself worthy for giving my the frames I want in games.$1,457.87 -

I built it this year because I got lucky securing a GPU during the GPU crisis. I mainly use it to play video games and for light video editing. My main games at the moment are Valorant, Apex Legends, and Genshin Impact. I think I should have went AMD (5600x) over the i5-11400, but the integrated graphics came in handy a few times during the build process.$1,611.91 -

My last build was lga 1155 i7-2700K. Back then I was still single and have money to spend lol. Now after moving here to the US I decided to build a entry to mid 1080p all around PC for my family ang get my son into PC building and gaming. What I love of todays build is you don't need a disk drive anymore! I still remember buying a 60Gb 2.5 SSD for my booth drive and 1 Tb HDD for my file storage. NVME SSD's are God sent it makes the build look more clean! Looking forward to building my personal gaming PC once I get settled here and save up.$1,714.93 -

For the most part, I play a combination of Forza Horizon 5, Battlefield 2042, Destiny 2, The Isle, Rust, and a few others. For something I wish I'd done differently, I wish I would have gone with a white radiator. I initially chose a be Quiet! pure loop 280mm and spray painted it white, however I left out the tubes. I feel if I'd either just bought a white rad, or spray painted the tubes as well the theme of my build would be more apparent. (I originally wanted a white one, now it's kind of in-between). For future upgrades, I honestly think I'll be set for a while. I'm running a 5600x with a 3070ti, and 16gb of 3200mhz ddr4 ram. I'm considering a cpu+mobo upgrade, but that won't happen for a while.$2,706.83
