I wanted to build try SLI but I my allowance didn't allow me. Fast forward several years, I was able to build it for gaming and video editing. The games I play are Hitman II, GTA V, Genshin Impact, Bloons TD6, TF2 and Maplestory. I am still trying to financially recover from this. I would like to get some large hard drives in the future and perhaps install an HBA to increase the number of drives I can have or possibly a 10 gig card so I can potentially use my PC as a NAS. I am considering getting some RGB strips because you gotta have them. My system is kinda dark since I bought Noctuas over something like LLs from Corsair since cooling is a bigger priority and lighting can be done separately. The biggest mistake was getting cable extensions and not buying sleeved cables. I have a crazy amount of cable length to manage. The ARGB on my cooler master was loose with my motherboard and I cannot control the RGB through software. I really wish it were a better fit so I wouldn't have to pop the side panel off when I want to change colors.$9,229.95 -

I am a gamer, and I focus on graphics and smooth game play, so the games I play take up a lot of room and computing power. With a game library of over 1,000 games and constantly getting more, I have to keep adding and/or replacing parts to my rig. Anything from older Command and Conquer games, Mass Effect, Starcraft; to new hits like Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, Destiny 2, Battlefield. With this in mind I am always looking at new gear and reviews (even when not planning an upgrade) so I am able to keep up with new games while making sure I can still play the old favorites. I am looking into the streaming field as well, just not sure how to start getting followers.$8,174.25 -

I built this computer to replace my 5 year old gaming rig to celebrate by 50th birthday. I use it mostly for gaming and daily networking, but I do use some software that takes full use of the 128GBs of RAM. I purchased a power supply and case designed around future expansion, but I have no plans to upgrade anything at this time.$6,375.69 -

Snagged a Zotac 4090 off of Amazon for 1699 right before they disappeared from everywhere. 140mm fans look great! (too bad they don't have a 420mm Gallahad). And no... I didn't leave the NVME in that slot. I did test with it in that Gen5 slot vs the other M2 slot with the 4 lanes direct to the CPU (so not making the GPU run in 8x PCIE lanes). There was zero performance difference (actually it gets slightly faster 3dmark scores with the PCIE gen 5 M2 slot occupied (within margin of error though). Also.. not sure where the AsRock Nova Wifi went on their website (it's still there if you search, but not on the list of MBs). It is an awesome board so far, both in performance and looks.$5,825.81 -

The i9-12900K is pushed to 5.2GHz on its P-cores, 64GB of Trident Z RGB is overclocked to 3733MHz CL16, and 14TB of NVME storage (2TB Samsung 980 Pro, 4TB Inland Premium, 4TB Inland Performance Plus, 4TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus). For Work: Lightroom Photoshop Premier Pro After Effects Blender Handbrake For Play: DCS World MSFS 2020 Cyberpunk 2077 Baldurs Gate This thing is a beast and blow my old intel setup away. I need to get a better GPU support. The dowel rod is a little out of place. I am trying to come up with something to print, but I haven’t found anything yet. I may look to upgrade the cooling system in the future. It works pretty well but I think there is room for improvement. Gaming it hits low 60’s and under heavy load in video work it will get into the low 70’s. I am considering getting 2 more fan control and rgb boards. It works fine on my current set up but I can clean up the wiring in the back a lot more if I didn’t have all of it going to a single point.$5,114.85 -

Built my first PC for my self 3-4 years ago and always had a picture of my dream computer in the back of my head but thought it would not be possible due to a lot of the parts being limited edition and just not knowing where to find the parts but when helping my friend find parts for his computer I found the first piece of the puzzle and it started to look like my dream will come true. After almost a year of getting parts and a week or two of trail and error I was finally able to get the computer to work the way I needed it too. The computer is on its own desk right now due to the size still working that one out$4,834.93 -

Plus, it also works pretty great as a gaming PC. I want this workstation to perform the best and reduce the rendering time while processing my animation project, so I went ahead and picked up a 4090 for this setup because it's pretty much the best out there. After testing it out on a project I was currently working on, I am very happy I made this decision. The rendering time was almost cut in half compared to my old workstation with a 2080ti.$4,719.92 -

Initially, this project started out with me just wanting to recase my Omen 30L. Waltzed into MicroCenter for a new case and mobo which I got. But then everything else started coming into play since the case/mobo just wasn't enough. Foolishly I asked the BYOP team if they had any 4090s in stock and they did. They happened to have the ROG Strix 4090 I was looking for and, well, everything kinda went downhill after that. Next thing I know I'm choosing RAM, finding an optimal price for a PSU and then trying to source all the fans I wanted for the build. Whole process took a little over a month or so and lots and lots of $$$$. But, now that everything's complete and rig is working fine, I am a happy camper now.$4,694.94
