Walking through Micro Center one day to get a new fan for my good old Raidmax Smilodon case and made the mistake of walking past the cases, saw a core P3 black on the shelf and had to build one for myself, and so it began, which color which was a back and forth decision for some time. Had to bail on building it few times due to other circumstances and just kept researching and getting parts over I would say 2 to 3 years, some accessories are past over from last build though. Built it for gaming and just general use, do a little go-pro video editing from time to time. Really do not have any upgrade plans for the tower at this time but we all know how fast that can change. Definitely would like to in time upgrade old been through it all desk that started as a U desk and due to space keeps getting smaller and also some better cable management for the desk. Custom loop would also be a possible upgrade but do not like the idea of constantly changing the coolant and I like simple (LOL) so to be determined, that being said next will more then likely be VR. Types of games really I am all over the place, it is really whichever I got hooked on for the moment. Forth build I have technically done but always had a sidekick that honestly knows much more and this one is the first I was solo on other then texting questions and thoughts to said sidekick <(leader of what to get and do)(LOL), also is where the Klipsch 5.1 came from (great friend).$5,228.69 -

I like to build My PC every 5-6 Years , been building my own PCs for almost 20 years now. My PCs are mostly spec for Gaming and entertainment , Though I recently got in to 3d Modeling. With 3D modeling my PC need to shift focus towards having more core, and 12 core would be beneficial.$2,179.88 -

This girl liked would stream on twitch (she's now my GF) and we became friends very quickly. Eventually, I wanted a pc to play with her so that's what i did. Coming from an Xbox one was an interesting experience. When I first built this it looked a lot different; in fact, the only original parts in my pc are the CPU, CPU watercooler, and motherboard. Ever since I've built mine I built many friends' PCs as well. A total of 4 not including mine I have built. I do it for free not only because they are my friends but because I enjoy every second of building computers. I would love to win so I can upgrade my water cooler to a custom water-cooled CPU/GPU to finish my build but as you know it costs very much. In regards to use, its mainly for gaming, like for example, I play valorant, rainbow six, and many single-player story games. I am very happy with what I accomplished and plan to always keep my pc up to date and upgrade when i need to!!! Thank you to those who took the time to read this, I really did try to keep this short and sweet.$2,122.93 -

I wanted to build a machine that would play games on high graphics, serve as my first programming machine, and display as a piece of artwork. Believe it or not, this was my first self built pc. I play Heroes of the Storm, Starcraft II, Warcraft III, and Team Fortress 2. Some old favorites are Runescape, Maplestory, Neopets, Delta Force Black Hawk Down, and Dune 2000. I just began learning the Python coding language. I would like to be involved with the coding community to create tools that will improve the world. I wish there were more affordable RGB GPUs on the market. The few problems I had were identifying what screws went to what on the Thermaltake Core P3, figuring out where to plug the pump into the motherboard, and having to get a Molex SATA adapter for the pump power. I do not take any credit for the Aida64 Sensor Panel idea from which I followed a guide on YouTube. I did custom pixel the corn and mask on the sensor.$1,992.87 -

I posted my previous build before saying I would upgrade some parts, but I went ahead and replaced mostly everything. I went from a Ryzen 5 3600 to and Intel 17-12700k. This processor is freaking nuts. Micro had a bundle sale on it with a Z690 Tuf motherboard and ram. Continuing on, I went from an UpHere air cooler to the Lian Ali Galahad. This aio works wonders with this cpu, 75 degrees and high loads, 30 resting. I also went from 6600xt to a 6750xt. For 100 dollars more, it's worth every cent. It just performs so well with games in general. I average 124fps on high settings with 2k res on Hogwarts. I added 16gigs of more Ram for multitasking purposes, it also looks better with all four films filled up. Lastly, I added a mini monitor for temps and whatnot. I generally got it cause it looks cool. It does have high res tho!$1,598.88 -

Had my friend help me build this beauty of a PC and im so happy the way it turned out. Huge upgrade over my old 1650 laptop. Me & my friend went to microcenter one morning and bought almost everything for the build there including the GPU. This was my first time building a PC and it honestly wasn't very hard. I did everything excepting for the cable managing. I mainly use this gaming PC for playing games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, GTA V, & Forza Horizon 5. I also plan on doing some streaming soon. Honestly I don't plan on upgrading anything in this pc in the near future. Only thing I would upgrade would be to go to 32gb of ram and maybe add a gpu sag bracket. And of course both of those things will be RGB. But I dont plan to do those upgrades anytime soon.$1,570.60 -

Had my friend help me pick out the parts and assemble it. I installed all the parts myself. Only thing I didn't do was the wiring and cable management. This is a huge upgrade over my 1650 dell laptop. Mainly use it for playing Fortnite, GTA V & Forza Horizon 5 but I would also like to start streaming. I don't plan on upgrading this system for a long time but if I did upgrade it, I would get either 32gb of RGB Ram or a RGB GPU Sag bracket. Also let my friend take some beauty shots of it.$1,525.60 -

I usually play some VR titles, Rocket League, Destiny 2, Risk of Rain 2, No Man's Sky. The process was pretty simple. Installed CPU and heatsink into the Mother Board, as well as the ram, then set it down into the case. Bolted everything down then installed all of the other parts. The strip of lights in the case was from a bulk roll of 5050 LEDs that I cut and soldered the connections on to it. One RGB header goes to the LED strip, and the second one goes to the fan controller included with the case so that ASUS Aura sync can control everything. I also run an Oculus Rift S off of this rig, and it's handled everything quite well. This build could benefit from a newer GPU. I'm looking to probably upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 7 3700x when the 4000 series hits stores and pushes the price down on the 3000s. I chose the AverMedia capture card over the usual ElGato. The AverMedia was on sale, so I got it for a steal, and it's extremely easy to use.$1,399.81 -

The gtx 970 was a tank of a card but it was time to move on. I built this computer for gaming and and general tasks and the 2060 super, Ryzen 7 combo works real nice together. I'm not a content creator because I'm old and boring haha but if I was ever forced into doing it I feel very confident this could handle it well.$1,135.92 -

It's running games like apex, valorant, csgo, rust, and much more with more frames at higher resolutions and higher quality of games. This is my computer, and its primary purpose is for gaming and schoolwork/everyday use. In terms of games, the Gtx 960 I have is fine for now(although I do want to upgrade to a current en card), and it can decently play 4x and Sim games at 1080p like City Skylines, Civ 6, and Anno 1800. Those are mainly the games I play, although I dabble in a few esports titles like Valorant and Fortnite. I also use this for some light video-editing for assignments/personal projects and CAD through Fusion 360. In the future, I hope to add a mid-tier GPU like a 3060-3060 TI or maybe a 3070 once prices become reasonable, along with 16 more gigs of RAM.$894.94 -

Some of the games the games I play are Call of Duty and Forza which the Gigabyte RX 5500 XT handled perfectly during casual gaming at 1080p. For school, I have many programs running which is why the extra ram was very helpful. Some things I plan on doing in the future are switching graphics cards when the Radeon graphic cards come out or the new 3000 series from NVIDIA come out and adding a new B550 motherboard later down the line.$683.86 -
