Walking through Micro Center one day to get a new fan for my good old Raidmax Smilodon case and made the mistake of walking past the cases, saw a core P3 black on the shelf and had to build one for myself, and so it began, which color which was a back and forth decision for some time. Had to bail on building it few times due to other circumstances and just kept researching and getting parts over I would say 2 to 3 years, some accessories are past over from last build though. Built it for gaming and just general use, do a little go-pro video editing from time to time. Really do not have any upgrade plans for the tower at this time but we all know how fast that can change. Definitely would like to in time upgrade old been through it all desk that started as a U desk and due to space keeps getting smaller and also some better cable management for the desk. Custom loop would also be a possible upgrade but do not like the idea of constantly changing the coolant and I like simple (LOL) so to be determined, that being said next will more then likely be VR. Types of games really I am all over the place, it is really whichever I got hooked on for the moment. Forth build I have technically done but always had a sidekick that honestly knows much more and this one is the first I was solo on other then texting questions and thoughts to said sidekick <(leader of what to get and do)(LOL), also is where the Klipsch 5.1 came from (great friend).

Back in 2014 I got my first proper gaming PC. Then it was just low end, bought by my parents, built by person at the store. All midrange economical parts. Since then I've been pretty hooked into PC gaming as a whole. Previously I had a gaming laptop so going from laptop to desktop was a huge change, so big I wondered how on earth I was using a laptop for so many years. Fast forward 2019. I've now graduated from college, got a job, and have money for once in my life. I'm still all the time following youtubers like LinusTechTips and whatnot and always just following the latest tech, always seeing glamorous PC builds. From watching those videos everyday for years, I always wanted to feel the awesomeness of a proper high end build. So it was a dream of mine to build something that would be a gaming beast and a huge upgrade from my previous build as well. I wanted to go pretty much all out, no compromises but within a reasonable budget as I'm just not loaded with cash. I had to save up for this for well over a year. I started buying things slowly overtime with all my peripherals like my keyboard, mouse, chair, table, and stuff. Last piece was going to be the main PC itself and monitor upgrade. I bought things with the idea in my head, one and done. Like if I buy this, I'm not going to want to replace it at all. It was exactly what I would have wanted in my dream scenario. Then came time where I was ready to buy, and Ryzen 3000 was about to launch. I've been doing months of just looking at PC parts and watching youtube reviews of every part so I knew exactly what I would want. I've been watching many build videos, even bought PC Building Simulator so I can practice building since I didn't want to have someone else build my pc for me. I went to Microcenter right on launch day, July 7th and bought myself a Ryzen 3900X, with a brand new x570 motherboard, fancy new pcei gen 4.0 5gb/s m.2 ssd. I got the works, then two days later I picked up the brand new RTX 2070 Super on launch day and got the monitor to go along with it. Certainly can't afford a 2080ti but that gpu was powerful enough and at a good price point where it wasn't terrible performance per dollar. I didn't go overkill with any part of this PC, everything I use 100% to the fullest. I game almost everyday on it. I like to stream as well on occasion. I want to make youtube videos on it. I use it for school and work. This thing just flies through everything I throw at it. I love it. Any changes I would make to the build would simply be adding another 16gb of ram to it. I'm for sure going to buy the new RTX 3080 and plug that into my PC. I'll eventually add in another m.2 ssd eventually and one that'll be even faster. I also wish to add in a good standard ssd as well, my current standard ssd in it is unfortanetly dramless which I didn't really know about at the time, and I feel like when running games on that it acts not as well as an ssd should. I wish that my cpu cooler and the fans with it would sync up with my other devices, also my mouse and speakers so it would be all one light sync.

Coming from a 10+ year old PC that was bought from Fry's, I figured it was time for an upgrade. Mainly using my PC for general purposes and a little bit of gaming. Since this was my first time building a PC, I went to YouTube to get some ideas. I was only looking to spend about $1000 but things sure added up quickly. went to PCPartPicker and started putting my list together. After a long wait on some items to finally be back in stock, Im pretty happy with the way it turned out. Next upgrade would be a new GPU to have it match better with the rest of the build.

Computers and gaming are my passion. This year I finally got my wife into PC gaming. This setup is a His/Her setup to reflect each of our personalities, favorite colors, and design language. It celebrates our individuality while also bringing us together. I will do a separate submission highlighting HER rig. Our Main Game Currently: Call of Duty Modern Warfare. I am working on getting her into RPG games like Diablo III, & The Witcher, as well as strategy games like the Total War Series. The goal of my rig was to get everything to match and sync. Everything in my setup is Razer themed, and ALL my lighting syncs through Synapse. I went with AMD for the first time in 15 years because the Ryzen chips are trouncing anything Intel has for most tasks. I just got my Philips Hue Hub and plan on either getting play bars, or their light strip for my desk lighting as that will also sync with Synapse.

Hello l started to build custom computers a long time ago but l always was so amazed about custom loops so here l am after many years my first custom water loop build. I made a lot of mistakes, the bends are not great and for sure l will redo the bends in the future to make the tubes run more symmetrical. When l was refilling the loop for the first time l forgot to plug one of the ports from the gpu block and a lot of coolant was coming out of it, it was very stressful and funny. Anyways l use the pc to play games after a long day from work and my son plays roblox on it too.

Been building PC since 5th Grade and it was on my bucket list to build an overkill system. I honestly use this to check email, do online banking, personal budgeting with excel and play a little bit of CS:GO on the side. I like to work my way around. The rig first used a $50 X370 board to run the 3900X, now it has been upgraded to a B550 board for future Zen3 upgrade potential. When i bought the parts for this rig, i was jumping around microcenter like a little kid. Little bit about myself. There was a time i built my rig with used parts from Ebay and i got them by saving up my lunch money. My first rig had an Intel PIII 667 with an Nvidia TNT2. Back when CS 1.6v was the hit along with BF2142, i spent about 6-7 hours a day gaming. Now that I am in my late 20 working full-time, i don't overclock or do speed run. I only spent bigger cash on what is needed. The motherboard just need to reliably running a 12 Cores. I dont need top of the line RAM for OC. But as you can see, i gave it a strong PSU and Cooler for reliability. The graphics card is more than enough for next couple of years. Until GTA 6 releases, i dont think i needed anything. Thanks for reading.

I was tired of buying underpowered laptops every three years and wanted a desktop that I could maintain and use as my daily driver. Building my own PC finally allowed me to build a machine to my specifications instead of settling for something close enough from another store. It was amazing to finally have enough storage to keep all of my family pictures and home videos on one machine. The most memorable experience I ever had with this machine is transferring my save file of Skyrim from PlayStation 3 to PC and playing the game like it was brand new. Load times went from minutes to seconds and the new details were unbelievable! Nothing has ever come close to being as big of a leap as Skyrim on PS3 migrating to the PC.

Hello, this is the Water Hashira, chose his name due to this being my first ever attempt at water cooling and I'm a fan of Demon Slayer. The main reason for my build was to upgrade from my prebuild Ailenware that's been doing right by me for so many years. The second reason, after watching so many Youtube videos with hard tube water cooled builds, the urge to give it a shot myself grew into what you see today. This was my first ever attempt at a water cooled, hard tubed build, and it was challenging and frustrating sometimes. Oh it was so satisfying seeing the leak test pass, and filling the loop. I mainly game on my PC, while also using it to complete school work and other tech labs to improve skills. My main games right now are League of Legends, Fortnite, Warzone, Spellbreak, and Overwatch. I also stream on twitch from time to time, twitch.com/handsomemumbler, if anyone ever wanted to check out some ok gameplay and chat. In hindsight, and anyone else thinking of giving water cooling a shot use my mistake for your gain, I would of only leak tested with air and not coolant or water. I was not aware of an air leak tester at first and trust me when I say my heart was in my stomach during my first leak test. Use an air tester!

This is my 3rd build, as my previous build had to be disassembled and unfortunately had parts sold as unforeseen circumstances had appeared on my car needing repair. After months and months of saving, I decided to build this rig, some new generation components, mostly current generation components, and I love it. I usually play light to medium gaming as most of the time I’m usually working, but this PC hasn’t let me down. I do plan on adding more fans, such as SP120 RGB Elites, to the side of the case where it is currently empty.
