My personal gaming rig I decided to dedicate to msi for their amazing customer support and awesome products. They have never let me down and have never disappointed me with anything they release! Knowing I was going with msi, I wanted to get all of their top products within reason. The case and power supply are the only two products msi offeres that I decided to not use. I'm a prepress artist, so I need the real estate of a 34" monitor (3440x1440 resolution). Definitely a bonus when it comes to epic immersive gaming, which consists of mostly FPS and RPGs (Skyrim, Witcher, and the like). Also like simulation now and then, such as Kerbal Space Program, some racing and sci-fi/flight sims. Definitely MUST upgrade my video card, most likely to a 2000-series NVIDIA RTX card, but not ruling out high end AMD Radeon cards either. Some day.$1,419.86 -

If I must describe this build, I must say its been my very first pc handbuilt. The pc case has been with me since my college days and I've come to upgrade it several times. Its a gaming rig built to play some simple games, mmos and adventure games. Everything I've been upgrading has been but the thought: what could I upgrade or add to this build I've swapped out the innards once already and swapped out the gpus 2 times. Made the move from hdds to ssds Witnessed the of Intel, AMD and NVidia Honestly enough most of my parts are left overs from each generation of upgrades that I can't even find my pc case and my old hard drives /ssds Added 2 monitor mounts which made it look like a cockpit of a mech . I even shucked a 12 TB external hard drive as well and still have a cd drive Added 3 monitors for each generation of display. 720p to 2k and from 60hz to 165hz too And even decided to screw around with a projector too. (sadly I went too cheap with the projector I guess) The thrill of this mess and what each upgrade allowed me was no doubt a long journey of glee and Micro center indulged all my needs. The next thing I must upgrade is a new pc case... cuz its falling a bit apart.$1,271.95 -

I built this machine in 2012, and it lasted until 2022 playing most of the games I wanted to play! Now that it's a decade later, I'm getting tired of needing to run games with low graphical settings, so I'm putting together a new build. Back in 2012 I bought quality components, and I think it shows since it lasted so long.$1,153.98 -
