My gaming rig, used mostly for Destiny 2, Escape From Tarkov, Battlefield 4, Far Cry, BioShock, Batman, and CS:GO. I also use this setup for Hi-Res music, it’s connected to my receiver and speakers as well as my headphone amps, and headphones. I also used this to record and digitize my entire record catalog in 192 kHz WAV. This build was designed to have very minimal RGB, and for the little it does have stand out inside a case with dark tinted tempered glass. Only a small line on the motherboard VRM heat sync, the ram sticks, and the GPU have RGB, and I went with a soft orange color to match the glow of the tubes on one of my amplifiers. For future upgrades, I would really like to get a matching RAM kit and have 32GB of RAM. However the more pressing upgrade is the GPU, I already had the 1660ti that is in it now, which is pretty serviceable. But I am trying to get a 3080 for a reasonable price so that my 1440p ultra wide can actually go to it’s full 144hz. I would also like to get some custom sleeved black cables at some point to really neaten up the cable situation, but I think it looks great for now with the stock cables. The biggest focus for me was performance and understated style and also minimal size for an ATX chassis, with essentially all black components, and a dark tint on the case glass. I went for a cooler that was going to more than handle my 5900x with a slight OC, and thankfully the 280mm rad fits perfectly in the front of my case. I also made sure to take advantage of my PCIe 4.0 compatible m.2 slot by putting in a 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 drive for games, and a 500gb PCIe 3.0 NVMe for my boot drive. My brother and I put a massive focus on correctly managing the cables, and making sure it was all as clean as possible. At the end of the day this is essentially my dream PC, and I cannot wait to finish getting the rest of the parts I need to be at the maximum potential for this build. I wanted a computer that had good processing power, could also run some games, and I was able to obtain most of the parts at a good price. Occasionally I need to either compile some code or edit a video, and the Ryzen 7 3800x has yet to disappoint. It also has plenty enough power when combined with the 1660 Super for the games I play. It has no problems with League of Legends, Modded Minecraft, Assassins Creed: Odyssey, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This build was not planned, it just sort of came together. Some pieces are new, used or damaged. The Meshify C case has a 4” gash on the top mesh, so I bent it back into shape. The Ryzen 7 3800x had bent pins, so I risked it and managed to straighten the pins. I bought a kit of the TridentZ RGB RAM from a friend and purchased an additional clearanced kit to not have empty RAM. The GPU and PSU were salvaged from another build. The only new and planned purchases were the motherboard, AIO cooler, case fans, NVMe drive, and RGB led strips. This shows that you do not need to buy everything at once or everything new always in order to achieve a good-looking build.$1,706.89 -

Also, after years of Intel CPU dominance, Ryzen 3000 series were receiving very good reviews and I wanted to try an AMD for myself after having used Intel builds all these years. I was going to make this a balanced build between gaming as well as productivitiy. Ryzen 5 3600 showed great performance in both, so decided to pair it up with 1660 Super to build a mid-budget build!$1,014.61 -

It is a brand new build, and parts were picked out with the intention of getting as much bang for buck into an AMD build as possible. It's got a nice clean and simple black look, with minimal lighting. It should be able to handle most modern games at very high settings.$809.93 -
