After discovering the HYTE Y70 Touch case just a day or two after the company announced that they had exhausted the global supply of the integrated 4K touch displays, I was both in love and heartbroken. I loved the case design and the novelty of the built-in touch display, but now they were sold out everywhere and being sold for exorbitant amounts on the second-hand markets. I had signed up for a few waiting lists for on sites like B&H in hopes that one might appear in stock somewhere. My friend and coworker heard me talk about this case for days and weeks as I spent all of my free time trying to find one for near retail price to no avail. Then one day, while that coworker is on vacation, I get a text from him saying he had received an email from B&H offering him a 30-minute window to purchase one from some stock they had held back. He knew how much I wanted one, and put himself on the waitlist! Now that he had secured one for me, I had to build a machine worthy of such a hunt!$3,274.81 -

Built to replace and upgrade my old pc with a gtx 770 and intel i7 4770k built in 2013. Works great, happy with it performance wise — but the rgb has been frustrating. After hours of troubleshooting, I can’t get rgb fusion to work and recognize anything other than the mobo for whatever reason which is gigabytes rgb software (manufacturer of my mobo). Also figuring out how to get all my fans and rgb headers plugged in was a little confusing and required splitters and an additional adapter I had to purchase for the lian li proprietary rgb connector. So only regret maybe not splurging on a nicer board and/or looking into header placement on the mobo more thoroughly. Also, if doing it over, would consider swapping out the 5800x for the 5600x or another cpu. With my personal pc use, I’m not utilizing the 5800x to the fullest extent and a 5600x would still be more than enough. My original build was going to use the 5600x but micro center had a deal running on the 5800x so I took it for $30 more… didn’t realize how much hotter it runs and therefore louder - not a huge concern but just something to note. For those interested on how I placed/plugged everything in… Removed the 3 fans that came with the lian li case off the front panel. 1 was placed at the back of the case as an exhaust. Other two were placed on the bottom of the case above the power supply as intake fans. I placed my Galahad water cooler on the front panel of the case along with all 3 fans that came with the cooler. All 3 are intake fans. Last two fans I purchased were lian li uni fans. These fans had to be placed at the top of my case in order to take advantage of the interlocking daisy chain feature - thereby reducing the number of fan pwm and fan rgb cords I have to connect by one. These were both exhaust fans.$2,851.85 -

This computer was built with the main intention to use it to play games at high FPS and high resolution. I am running a 165 hz monitor and achieve 165 fps in Destiny 2 all day long. I get around 50-60 FPS in Beam ng Drive, which is a high load soft body physics game. I am very happy with this build and Micro Center Yonkers did a great job building it.$2,789.05 -

Its my first PC build and im definitely pleased with what i had choosen to build its super fast graphics are incredible. I mainly play Warzone and tbh for being a mid tier pc it actually doesnt have a lot of difference from a high end one! Only down side is the case i choose because of my gpu i have to run the fan quite high in order to keep it in low temps but other than that im happy for what u got! 😁😁$2,579.84 -

To celebrate the opening of a Microcenter near to me, and because I needed a computer sooner than I could save up for the parts I wanted, I decided to do a challenge where I would build a computer using ONLY the grand opening deals they had. So far I love this PC, and it has been able to run my needs (Ark: Survival Evolved, Anno 1800, FF XIV) with the exception of Cities Skylines, but that may be software related (it won't actually load and run.) Otherwise, for a computer that cost only 2/3rd to a half of what it would otherwise be, I am quite happy with this first of hopefully many PC builds with a local MicroCenter.$2,300.86 -

Now she inherits my "old" PC. The 7700x is very fast and responsive, a great pairing for the MSI RX6900xt I picked up 2 months ago. Purpose of the Build: My build is geared towards an immersive gaming experience. With a focus on playing games like Apex, COD, and Assassin's Creed, I aimed to create a powerful rig that delivers exceptional performance for my gaming preferences. Gaming Preferences: I'm a fan of intense and action-packed games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and the engaging narratives of Assassin's Creed. The build is tailored to handle these games seamlessly, providing a visually stunning and responsive gaming environment. Content Creation and Coding: While my primary use is gaming, I also dabble in coding during my free time. The build, with its robust specifications, ensures smooth coding sessions and fast compilation times. Future Upgrades: Currently, I find my build more than capable for my gaming and coding needs, so there are no immediate plans for future upgrades. The current configuration meets my requirements effectively. Hindsight Considerations: In hindsight, I might have opted for a 360 AIO cooling solution, but this would have required a larger case. If I were to revisit my choices, the Corsair 5000D would have been my top pick for a case that accommodates a 360 AIO while providing ample space for future expansions.$2,149.91 -
