This is my gaming battle station and my happiness when I come home also I have a AIO in my setup I love the aesthetic of that.it’s weird and dirty and it makes the build stand out because it’s not often you see a cpu and gpu AIO combo I spent hours setting up this bad boy down to the last screw.also I find myself getting very lost and distracted in my pc beauty and the amazing RGB effects and my 2 screens that keep me entertained with cool gifs and System information.hope I can share my experience with you amazing pc builders out there.$4,459.91 -

My wife and I decided to build a computer together for a VR setup. :D EKWB Quantum Velocity V2 cooling. CPU contact frame and Thermal grizzly liquid metal. I managed to fit (2) Corsair XR7 Rads in here with push/pull configurations. Overclocked the i9 13900k to 6.1 ghz on 6 cores and 5.6 on 2. Running 1.4v Vcore, medium LLC. Temps in cinebench get to about 80c full load. Oc'd the DDR5 6000 Gskill memory to 28, 36 36, 80 6133 at 1.46v. (Tested stable in memtest pro) Build was closer to $6000 really when all was said and done.lol$4,001.87 -

Things I would do different, I would have checked the mother board specs closer. I put a Gen 4, M.2 SSD in and it can take a Gen 5. Other than that, everything else is good. I Benchmarked it at 13003 un-tweaked.$3,632.91 -

The Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Master X using Intel's 14700k CPU and Sapphire's 7900 xtx 24GB GPU has brought my gaming into the front lines of 2024. I currently play games like GTA V online, MWIII, Minecraft, and a little W.O.W. I haven't started streaming yet, but this was built with the best experience in mind. This machine should last me for the next 8+ years with enough capabilities to easily be relevant until the end. Without getting too deep into the metrics, I am able to run MWIII at maximum settings and still avg. ~230 FPS. I am only using dual 1080p monitors by the way, but that is going to be upgraded to 4k monitors to match the quality of my new build. On the side, I have an older model Yamaha receiver, HTR-6240, a 5.1 channel Surround sound experience like no other on a desktop PC.$2,837.86 -

Hello, my name is Arte and I'm completely addicted to overhauling my desktop pc for the sake of making marginal improvements. Or perhaps I just enjoy tinkering. Regardless, those are my honest reasons of why I built this. This machine functions as and replaces my primary gaming desktop pc. I mostly play fps games such as Doom Eternal. I was really tired of ddr4 and was ready to make the switch to ddr5 since the price on ddr5 has come down significantly over recent months. I also upgraded my video card to a RTX 4070 so that I could use gsync on a recently acquired monitor. I also upgraded to a more robust air cpu cooler so that it could handle the temps of an i7 13700k cpu.$2,364.91 -

After building my first rig, I was headfirst into the world of PC building. I didn't know my next gaming computer was going to be a space heater though. This build I went for the all white with silver finish aesthetic, and it came out better than I expected. Although it was a bit nerve wracking to troubleshoot the overheating cpu, it was a really enjoyable experience. I use the computer mainly for gaming, I enjoy playing hyper realistic simulation games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Forza Horizon 5, and PC building simulator 2 (yes when I said I went headfirst into PC building I meant it), and some other games that this computer is too powerful for. One upgrade I definitely need to consider is getting more storage, because nowadays games somehow manage to take up half an ssd.$2,239.59 -

I have a soft spot for microATX builds and it seems like they’re the red-headed stepchild of the scene. There’s something about all the wasted space in a full size ATX case that makes me sad inside and I don’t wanna be sad! It is used daily for everything, including three monitors. Two of these are used for gaming: One 34" ultrawide monitor that runs 3440x1440 at 100hz, and then alternately a 55" TCL 55R646 tv than I use for a console like experience (wireless controller, steam big picture mode) at 4k,120hz. I primarily play RPG / JRPG, action, adventure games. Up next for me is to play the recently updated current-gen version of The Witcher III at 120fps. The name of this build was drawn from the predominantly graphite & silver scheme on many of the components. I just rolled with this color scheme after finding multiple clearance deals at Microcenter that I considered too good to pass up. The graphics card, motherboard, ddr5 ram, and most of the ssd storage were all taken from Microcenter clearance. The biggest problem I ran into was also directly related to this. Specifically, the clearance / open box RTX 3090 Ti ended up being a bare card only and was missing the required 3-pronged power adapter that plugs directly into the card. Thankfully, I was able to contact MSI and I can recommend their customer support. Since the card was still unregistered and under warranty, MSI sent me the power cable I needed at no further cost to me.$1,775.77 -

I've been piecing this build together a bit at a time for the last six months. I mainly kept an eye out for components that would be a significant upgrade over my 11900K / 3070 Ti desktop build. Shoutout to the employees at my local microcenter who take time to hunt down the random clearance items I order. Everything but the AIO cooler and the ssd storage devices were bought at microcenter. Currently on the 13700k, I have all P cores overclocked to 5.8 with all E cores at 4.4 with vcore set to 1.35 and medium LLC. My ddr5 is modestly overclocked from 6000 to 6400 for the time being. I need to re-learn how to overclock ram because a lot of bios settings have become more complex since ddr3-ddr4 days. From what I understand, Hynix A die modules should be able to overclock significantly higher frequencies - I just need to learn how to pull that off.$1,624.25 -

After extensive research and numerous days and nights dedicated to finding the optimal components within my budget, I was able to successfully assemble it! The performance of this build is great! This CPU and GPU combination I chose is great for intermediate and advanced gaming, consistently achieving frame rates well above 144Hz at 1080p, which is the maximum refresh rate and resolution of my monitor. The temperatures are pretty chill with the cpu maxing at about 60 degree celsius on cinebench and idling at 35 to 40 celsius. The gpu is a little toastier with temps going from 62 to 66 celsius on heaven benchmark and 38 to 43 celsius on idle. I am glad I purchased AIO watercooling for my CPU!$1,610.95 -

I've been in a long wait with MSI while they process a RMA replacement for my primary graphics card, a MSI SUPRIM 3090 Ti. During this downtime, I got impatient and decided to use the opportunity of not having a giant brick of a graphics card to work around. I ended up upgrading most of my system: new motherboard (MSI z790 Ace), new cpu (Intel i5 24600k), and new kit of ddr5 (32gb of G.Skill TridentZ 6400). In the current state of cardlessness, everything is running great as far as a general use desktop PC. Just waiting on MSI to get the card back in and resume gaming.$1,594.93
