I don't play many graphically intensive games hence the 1660 ti. I mainly play Forza Horizon, 2d indie games, and visual novels. I also do a lot of web development and graphic design work. In the future I would like to get a mini tower case and 32 gb of ram. Not all the parts were available in the Micro center parts options. Cooler is a Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.B, main drive is a Western Digital 500GB WD Blue SN550 NVMe ssd, also has a Hitachi 500gb hdd and SK Hynix 500gb ssd, case is Thermaltake not sure the model was given to me by a friend.$963.94 -

A third purpose was to build a Desktop powerful enough to indulge in other things such as 3D modelling/rendering or photo and video editing. I have spent hours at this build playing AAA titles like; The Witcher 3, DOOM, Ghostwire Tokyo, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Assassins Creed Odyssey and too many others to remember at the top of my head. Spent countless more hours on e-sports titles like League Of Legends, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Call of Duty Warzone and whatever else interests me in this category. It has been a few years since I built it, really had fun with it, but I think that now it is time to upgrade.$3,606.94 -

I have 50000 subscribers on YouTube and this pc has made content a breeze compared to my old laptop. I spent a lot of time researching the best parts for the money. I plan on upgrading my pc to a 12700k in the next week. I live playing Minecraft and occasionally play fortnite.$1,189.95 -

This build was designed for a friend primarily for lower-end gaming titles, as well as some recording and streaming (mostly to Discord, not Twitch or anything that warrants a fairly high bitrate). Most of this build's use has been games such as Minecraft and Valorant, and the generally fast speed of the overall build has come in handy with general productivity as well. The aesthetics of the build were not taken into high regard as this was made as a budget build; though aftermarket cables and fans were used to achieve a bit of flair. Most of the parts were chosen because of their availability or price, and thus half the parts were either used or open box. Still, the computer is fairly powerful and is able to run modern higher-end titles at a decent rate.$1,002.89 -

What's better than Corsair. I love the quality and looks of it. 3060 may sound like a cheap option at this price but I use this PC for editing and learning more than gaming. The thermals were awful and the PSU / MB were non-standard, so I transferred the CPU, GPU, RAM and drives to a new case with a new MB and PSU. As parts were on sale (or available) I swapped out a bit at a time. Grabbed an i9 9900k when Microcenter clearanced them (and an Arctic AIO w/ VRM cooling). Needed overclocked RAM then, so picked up 32gb of Ballistix 3600 DDR4. Swapped out the 256gb NVME w/ a 1tb WD SN750 and added four 1tb SATA HDDs I had lying around into a RAID10 array for anything that didn't need SSD speeds. Finally managed to get a Gigabyte Waterforce Extreme RTX 3080 w/ AIO, which also required a PSU upgrade. Now the HP is back together for my kids to use!$2,277.90 -

When I moved from west coast to east in 2019, I sold my previous PC (4790K, but I kept GTX 970 alone). Then I need a new one to play Dota 2 and do PS on my personal photos (some subscription on Instagram). I decided to build with the latest CPU at that time. I bought all the parts (9900k + RTX 2070 + 970 pro) in Micro Center in mid 2019 and built the current one. After I assembled them, I regret only bought 16GB(2*8) memory. So I bought another set of 32GB(2*16) and added them to the PC. So it is wired that I got 48GB memory, With the 2070 and 970, I got good performance. But now I gave 970 to my friend for temporary usage as the graphic card now is super high. I changed the case to 5000D this year.$2,164.89 -
