Got the best APU for AM4 the 5700G with Noctua L9a. Always try to stick with Asus Strix Motherboards so got the best ITX available the Strix X570-I. Paired it up with the HyperX Predator 64GB 3600MHz and Samsung 980 Pro 1TB. I mainly use this as a HTPC connected to my LG OLED and use something called Moonlight/Sunshine to stream my games from my main build. Highly recommend anyone who already has a high end build and still wants to be able to go to a different room and stream their games from another PC without moving the actual PC around.$590.00 -

At only 13 liters volume, the Jonsbo N1 case is a solid 2.5 mm aluminum alloy shell on top a 1.0 mm thick steel frameset with 2.0 mm structual beams. The heafty 8.36 LB metal data vault fits a Mini-ITX board, an SFX PSU, and five 3.5-in. SATA/SAS hard drives. Easy 100+ TB NAS and/or Proxmox VE in a compact 8.5-in. x 6.5-in. vertical footprint. My home office now runs on this one combined Proxmox NAS. It sports a Ryzen 5700G processor and a 4-drive ZFS RAID-Z1 array. Enough compute to provide basic services to a small network. The N1 with just one fan gets warm, so I'd recommend remove or change out the front panel for better airflow. In the future, I may populate its one PCIe expansion slot with a PCIe to 4x M.2 card, then add on a M.2 to 5-SATA card to use all five drive bays, add an M.2 2.5GbE card, (or 10GbE), and add extra M.2 NVMe drives.$1,144.98 -

They need something that will meet minimum standards to play their basic games, do homework, and other general PC-based activities. This was the plan going into this project. It isn't top of the line by ANY standard, but it can be considered a gaming rig. It was built for a 10 year old, so the standards didn't have to be high, but it DID need to meet certain minimum requirements with processing speed, RAM, and graphics capabilities.$447.94 -

I built this because I wanted to build the smallest form factor desktop that was reasonably possible relative to my performance goals. Once I decided to use an AMD processor with Raedon graphics built in, there was nothing holding me back from making it as compact as possible. I know that the random application of sloppy electrical tape looks bad with the panel removed. But the goal was to black out light-colored components from showing through the mesh and it does indeed look better when the case is closed up.$440.95 -

Built with the goal of fast 1080p/1440p gaming on a budget, allowing an upgrade to AM5 in the near future. A small desk footprint is a necessity with an upgrade path for all parts preferred, so the Hyte Revolt 3 was an easy choice. The rest of the parts were chosen for pure functionality based on available deals on the new and used markets.$730.99 -

Purchase mainly everything from Newegg as most of the parts are much cheaper than the bigger manufacturers. I mainly got the case that looked similiar to the Lian Li Dynamic that most build in, however this came with pre-installed RGB fans and came in white! If you haven't noticed, but I tried to keep all parts white as much as possible where I could. Of course having the 5600G is a great APU processor, I was handed down the 6600 XT from a friend who recently updated to a 7900 XTX. Mainly playing Genshin Impact and doing my dailies! Occasionally play co-op top down games with friends.$544.93 -

Built this originally with a 5600G to utilize the APU to game at 720p, however found a used GTX 1080 to be able to play at a higher resolution with increased graphics settings. It is being used by my 5 year old who just started playing Minecraft and Roblox. Of course I encourage him to play games on websites like PBSKids and other sites to keep up with learning as well. This is nothing fancy but beats getting a prebuilt from Dell or HP. I found the PC Case on Newegg and most other components on Amazon. Thankfully I have a MicroCenter nearby and was able to get the MB and CPU bundle to save me a bit of money.$434.93 -

I'm a 14 year old kid who likes tech and wanted something better than a crusty dell laptop that my dad's company tried to throw away 4 years ago. I play games like ironsight, polygon, asseto corsa, minecraft, and more. I also use this build to run a kind of recording studio in my closet. The whole build except for the GPU and motherboard is new and everything combined cost just under $450ish without tax (and without peripherals ofc).$423.99 -

I wanted to make the switch from console so I can play PC only games like Ready or NOT. Being a responsible adult, I had a $500 total budget and I bought the parts at the perfect time and walked out with $3 in my pocket. YUP including taxes I managed this build to be under $500. Gaming with the integrated graphics worked ok with COD: Warzone and Overwatch2 but pretty hard to play with others like Six Days in Fallujah since low settings made somethings hard to see. I managed and even started recording games for my Youtube channel. After a month and few weeks, a friend was selling his RTX 4060 so I picked it up at a steal. I picked up a ID Cooling Frostflow AIO same day . This build is perfect for beginners on $500 budget (not counting the GPU and AIO) Pics are without and with GPU and AIO installed$692.93 -

I was overdue for a graphics card upgrade (had previously been using an nvidia gtx 1060 6gb card). Actually, make that overdue for an everything upgrade. I finally decided that the time was now because the 4070 super at around $600 according to the reviews delivers exactly the kind of 1440p resolution gaming performance that I have been looking for. I mainly play looter shooter games like the Borderlands series and the other borderlands spinoffs.$580.93 -

I decided that I wanted to put all the various gift cards to good use and make a desktop build that's dedicated to running video editing applications. I have a primary gaming pc hooked up to a large hdtv that is geared completely toward gaming performance. So instead of making that one build work for both needs, what you see here is a budget-friendly no-frills setup dedicated to video editing. Of course, I opted for AMD because of the value associated with their cpu's that have both several cores/threads and also on-chip graphics.$759.93 -

I needed to build something simple to keep two kids (8 and 10 years old) from taking over a desktop that is normally used for work and office tasks. Thankfully this was pretty affordable because the game they're wanting to play (Roblox and whatnot) are not very demanding. So far, the 5600G graphics have been more than sufficient for their needs. The primary 16 cpi-e slot remains open if that changes down the road. I'm happy to say that the prices of ddr4 ram and ssd storage have fallen quite a bit since doing my last build.$457.94 -
