Just recently purchased some sim racing equipment and DIY’ed a little rig from an old table to fit my geometry. Could definitely use some cable management but im looking at purchasing a new PC setup soon to upgrade!$724.97 -

I couldn't afford to buy all the parts to build a new PC so instead I upgraded an old desktop computer that was no longer in use with some new parts so that it can play modern games. The memory and CPU both needed to be overclocked to make this happen, since they're pretty old. When I eventually upgrade this, I'm going to have to replace about half of the parts, since the motherboard is far too old to handle any modern ram or CPU. I'm pretty sure the motherboard has the newest CPU possible and can't take any ram faster than DDR3. But oh well, I'm pretty sure most people upgrade those parts every few years anyways. I enjoy playing Skyrim, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts, Fall Guys, and Rocket League on this computer.$1,054.96 -

I mainly play Valorant, Halo MCC, Forza, and Assassin's Creed. It initially had a Ryzen 3 APU until I've upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X coupe months ago. I plan on upgrading my GPU. I current have a Gtx 1660 Ti but there is some coil whine when the %utilization goes above 80%, so I pretty much have to limit myself graphical settings to the medium preset for most games. I hope that I can purchasing any RTX card (preferably the RTX 3060 since I only have a 650 Watt PSU) whenever they are in stock.$1,141.92 -

I use my computer every day, whether I am programming and doing school work, or playing games. I usually play eSports titles like CS:GO and Rocket League, as well as COD:MW, and of course some single player games like the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and looking forward to new releases like Cyberpunk 2077. My PC and internet connection are able to handle 1080p/60fps streams on Twitch, but I only stream occasionally or when my friends and I are doing a long gaming session. Obviously, my theme with the PC has been a black and white theme. I am a big Star Wars fan and it only made sense to throw in a bobblehead First Order Stormtrooper. I also added in the mini AE86 license plate because I was always a huge fan of the Trueno AE86 from Initial D, and now I own the newer Toyota 86, with a white and black look, so it add more of my personality to the build. If there was something that I would change about my PC would probably be the case. The S340 Elite has served me well, but I have been on the look out for a case worthy enough for the upgrade. So when the Lian Li Lancool II and mesh versions came out, I saw the great review and even better I could easily keep the same look. As you can see, my PC is already doing everything that I need and I have no complaints. So why did I enter the PC Showcase contest? Well, I have a friend, who will remain nameless, who has been live streaming and doing video edits for his YouTube channel on an FX processor and a GTX 970. My friends and I have been saving up money to surprise him with a new build for his birthday, which is coming up soon. (hopefully he doesn't see this so it can remain a surprise) So that is why I have entered this contest, so that hopefully my friends and I, can get more help in building a PC that would be a HUGE upgrade for him. If I do end up making it into the top 5, I want to thank Micro Center for giving me the chance of winning. Regardless on if I win, I plan on putting a simple video together on my Youtube channel that will have my friends reaction to the new PC we are able to afford getting him. Thank you for taking the time to read my entry, keep on gaming! Disclaimer: I edited the picture of the PC when it is on to try to match the colors of the RGB LED strips closer to what they actually look like$1,689.89 -

This system was built with streaming in mind, but also reducing the footprint of the space taken up by the desktop. Things I was looking for in this build. Small Size Powerfull Hardward Decent bling under 1500$ I was able to get all of that at 1200$ I manage to pick up the graphics card and board for 450$, the Case and PSU at 120$, the Processor at 315, The hard drives & Memory at 170$, and lastly 80$ on CPU cooler and fans. The main game streamed on the computer GTA-V but that was a easy requirement. I wanted to make sure games like Cyberpunk 2077 would be playable with RTX at reasonable 1080P settings. the system over all is very enjoyable.$1,388.91 -
