I like the Fractal North case because you can just look at it and be pleased after a very expensive purchase decision. I wanted the inside to be blacked out since you can't really see the inside of your case all the time, and the only RGB I really want is the Geforce RTX logo from my graphics card. Decided to be conservative on the specs I go with, albeit the 7800 X3D bundle is too good to pass up. I wanted to save the rest of the money for a very nice (and expensive) QD-OLED monitor, preferably, something like the MSI MPG 321URX, which is sadly still not in stock. Other than that, Noctua fans keep my PC quiet without any annoying frequencies, which is useful since I use open-back headphones. 4 TB main drive should last for a while, and cover all my storage needs.$1,807.35 -

Built this AMD 8700G PC for coding and running programs that I need for my mad science lab, but looks like it will be my wife's PC instead. She will use it for general PC activities including some casual 1080p gaming (Secret World Legends, Entropia, and others that I don't know the names of). A few years from now, if her old Nvidia/Intel based gaming PC breaks down then I may overclock this one and/or add a video card, or maybe even drop in a new CPU. Am using the heat sink that came with the 8700G CPU, and during a bit of gaming the temp never got above 32 degrees C so I won't be upgrading to water cooling. It has very low power use and it is whisper quiet.$1,335.90 -

After discovering the HYTE Y70 Touch case just a day or two after the company announced that they had exhausted the global supply of the integrated 4K touch displays, I was both in love and heartbroken. I loved the case design and the novelty of the built-in touch display, but now they were sold out everywhere and being sold for exorbitant amounts on the second-hand markets. I had signed up for a few waiting lists for on sites like B&H in hopes that one might appear in stock somewhere. My friend and coworker heard me talk about this case for days and weeks as I spent all of my free time trying to find one for near retail price to no avail. Then one day, while that coworker is on vacation, I get a text from him saying he had received an email from B&H offering him a 30-minute window to purchase one from some stock they had held back. He knew how much I wanted one, and put himself on the waitlist! Now that he had secured one for me, I had to build a machine worthy of such a hunt!$3,274.81 -

I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). I built this computer with the NVIDIA GeForce 3060 Ti, Ryzen 7 CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD to create a versatile powerhouse that can handle both gaming and creative tasks with ease. As a gamer, I'm drawn to titles that demand high-performance hardware to fully immerse myself in their worlds. With this setup, I dive into the latest AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Call of Duty: Warzone, experiencing smooth gameplay and stunning visuals at high settings. The NVIDIA GeForce 3060 Ti ensures that I can enjoy these games at high resolutions with fast frame rates, delivering an immersive gaming experience. Beyond gaming, I'm also a content creator, producing videos and streaming gameplay on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. The Ryzen 7 CPU's multi-threaded performance allows me to edit videos smoothly and handle streaming tasks without any lag. The 16GB DDR4 RAM ensures that multitasking is a breeze, whether I'm editing videos, streaming, or browsing the web simultaneously. In hindsight, one potential upgrade could be increasing the RAM to 32GB for even smoother multitasking and future-proofing the system. Additionally, considering the fast-paced advancements in technology, I might have opted for a higher-tier GPU if budget allowed, to ensure longevity and better performance in upcoming games and applications. Overall, this build strikes a perfect balance between gaming performance and content creation capabilities, allowing me to pursue my passions with confidence and efficiency.$1,195.94 -

My aging 1050 laptop needed an upgrade, so I decided it was time for a new system. I hunted for discounts aggressively: scoring free RAM bundled with the CPU, opting for B-stock fans, and snagging the case, PSU, and SSD on sale. Building the new setup was a breeze from start to finish. The H7 Flow case is not only beautiful but also spacious and enjoyable to work with. Even the B-stock fans looked brand new. My only complaint is that the a-rgb headers are inconveniently placed, making cable management a bit messy. The performance is impressive. The Sims 3 runs at an absurd 700-800 fps with all settings maxed out, while Ark: Survival Ascended, a more demanding title, sits comfortably in the 70s on high and epic settings. The CPU and GPU temperatures rarely exceed 60°C.$1,829.92 -

I built this to replace a 10+ year old gaming PC that was starting to show it's age. I mostly play older games like Unreal Tournament 2004, COD, etc., and wanted something reliable that would run smoothly on my 2K monitors. I also wanted to go RGB for the "coolness" factor (don't judge me) and provide some ambient lighting in the room while playing. In addition to the components listed below, I went with Corsair iCUE LINK QX120 RGB fans and a Corsair iCUE Link RGB LCD AIO because I liked the LCD screen showing system temps or pictures. I also purchased a custom 12VHPR cable with a right angle connection for the GPU and also plugs directly into the PSU (not an extender). The length on it is perfect so there are no sharp bends which is highly recommended with these HPR cables. These extra components added about $550 to the cost, so the total cost for the system was about $2,500.$1,938.94 -

Although I've been more of a Mac guy for quite a while, I wanted a good gaming PC to play different games with my son and friends. Halo, GoW, plus a lot of others. I also do a lot of 3d printing, so this is good for Fusion360 and my design work.$1,663.93 -

When I was first thinking of building a pc, I only had a budget of $1200 . I love to Stream on Twitch and play intense FPS games like Warzone ,any call of duty game , Fortnite, etc. I thought I would've had to spend $1400+ for the parts I have, but Microcenter really hooked it up with the CPU bundle deal ! This Pc can run any game u want in max frames and resolution. I also wanted the color theme to be as much white as possible because I just think white looks really clean and it stands out more. The graphics card is really good for its price , I just wish it had more then 8gbs of ram. Its not a problem at all with the games I run, but the more GB's of ram u have the better obviously. I also want to upgrade to 32 GB's of ram instead of 16 in the future. My case I chose is really cheap but I love it a lot. Very easy installation and I like the stock rgb fans it comes with and the usb-c port on top is useful . The only downside of this case is that you wont be able to add any fans on the bottom. This Pc was worth every penny !$1,228.99 -

This is a high end 4090 gaming build that is technically a "Budget 4090 Build" where I use some open box items and used components to save money. I am upgrading from a PC that is 9 years old and wanted to build a new one that will last me another 9 years. This is a gaming rig that can handle almost anything even though I mostly use it for productivity. Still in the process, but I will get back into streaming content online soon playing random games and drawing while hoping to do some game production. My goal is to fully utilize this PC with my 4K monitors. Besides that, it looks cool to look at! What a wonderful journey and it all started from buying the Microcenter Bundle!$4,090.69 -

I wanted to use minimal RGB, so the parts wouldn’t be extremely saturated with RGB, and so I could play more comfortably at night. I chose these parts with a $1300 budget in mind. There were definitely things I believe I could’ve done to improve the build, such as a PSU without daisy-chained PCIE connectors, but it’s the price you pay for a quality unit, I suppose.$1,213.11 -

Things have changed a lot over the years. I made some small changes with a case swap, new cooler, and storage back in 2021. Now it's been completely refreshed with a new platform and GPU. It's basically a new build at this point and I'm so glad with how it turned out. Also I 100% needed a GPU sag bracket, this card is HUGE. I mainly use this build for gaming and talking to friends. I recently just finished playing Nier Replicant and Nier Automata. Those were extremely fun! I also upgraded to a 1440p monitor which has been a crazy change. I bought the 7700x, RAM, and Mobo combo deal at Microcenter since that seemed like the most effective way to upgrade from my old 8600k platform. Saved a good 200 ish dollars there. As for my GPU, it is an insane improvement over my previous GTX 1070. Overall I'm happy with how this build as turned out!$1,470.90 -
