I've been piecing this build together a bit at a time for the last six months. I mainly kept an eye out for components that would be a significant upgrade over my 11900K / 3070 Ti desktop build. Shoutout to the employees at my local microcenter who take time to hunt down the random clearance items I order. Everything but the AIO cooler and the ssd storage devices were bought at microcenter. Currently on the 13700k, I have all P cores overclocked to 5.8 with all E cores at 4.4 with vcore set to 1.35 and medium LLC. My ddr5 is modestly overclocked from 6000 to 6400 for the time being. I need to re-learn how to overclock ram because a lot of bios settings have become more complex since ddr3-ddr4 days. From what I understand, Hynix A die modules should be able to overclock significantly higher frequencies - I just need to learn how to pull that off.$1,624.25 -

It is used daily for everything, including three monitors. Two of these are used for gaming: One 34" ultrawide monitor that runs 3440x1440 at 100hz, and then alternately a 55" TCL 55R646 tv than I use for a console like experience (wireless controller, steam big picture mode) at 4k,120hz. I primarily play RPG / JRPG, action, adventure games. Up next for me is to play the recently updated current-gen version of The Witcher III at 120fps. The name of this build was drawn from the predominantly graphite & silver scheme on many of the components. I just rolled with this color scheme after finding multiple clearance deals at Microcenter that I considered too good to pass up. The graphics card, motherboard, ddr5 ram, and most of the ssd storage were all taken from Microcenter clearance. The biggest problem I ran into was also directly related to this. Specifically, the clearance / open box RTX 3090 Ti ended up being a bare card only and was missing the required 3-pronged power adapter that plugs directly into the card. Thankfully, I was able to contact MSI and I can recommend their customer support. Since the card was still unregistered and under warranty, MSI sent me the power cable I needed at no further cost to me.$1,775.77 -

I will 100% add some RGB lighting on the inside top to illuminate the case better though the tinted glass side panel. The radiator did not fit on the top due to clearance issues with the heatsinks on the MSI motherboard. Offset brackets would have solved that issue but I was able to mount the radiator high enough to not make the pump the highest point. Great case to build in, easier then expected for my first build, 9/10.$2,469.93 -
