I built this computer to use as my main desktop computer for web browsing, programming, and occasional gaming. After we changed out a lot of different furniture pieces, we needed to move to a build footprint that was rougly half the size of the old atx mid tower case. Thankfully this wasn't much of a problem since the previous build was 80% empty space. This is not a gaming pc and performance needs are very casual for the use of occasional guests we have stay in our home. The focus was condesing the overall size to fit on a small desk. Many pieces of the previous build we re-used. The previous atx sized motherboard was replaced with a motherboard of mini itx size.$418.93 -

The main reason I built this was because I wanted something smaller that I could use in the living room when I decide to do another higher end build. I really don't do anything crazy when it comes to games anymore, I think the most intensive game I play is still Forza Horizon 5. So with that all in mind, I decided on all of these parts for a smooth 1440p experience. I still debate if I want to make an upgrade to a 5800x3d, but I'm not sure it will be worth it knowing I won't be upgrading anything else in this pc. The CPU and GPU seem to work great together and everything remains cool and quite how it is.$951.82 -

The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. Performance is great at 1080p and even 1440p as the RTX 3060 is still a great card for most games. I have moved a lot of PC parts and upgraded but this is the final upgrade. This gaming PC can tackle any 1440p game with no issues and can also compute anything for my work needs. The 5800x3d is the best CPU from AM4 to keep all my frames steady and the 3080 pushes those frames. I know I couldve gotten 'better' components but for the budget, these 2 were the best I can get comfortably without feeling guilty. The PC has no rgb but that's what I like. I wanted to keep it all black (GPU has a little bit of RGB but it's very subtle which is fine). Furthermore, routing the cables in the PC was a breeze due to the SF750's cables being sleeved so bending it was no issue at all.$1,689.95 -

I'm thrilled to share my very first gaming PC setup with you all. After years of living in the Mac world, I've finally made the leap into PC gaming, and let me tell you, it's been an incredible journey! Why I Built It: Switching from Mac to PC was a big decision for me, but I wanted to explore the world of gaming in a whole new way. I built this PC because I wanted something powerful enough to run all the latest games smoothly while still fitting within my budget. It's amazing how customizable and versatile PC gaming can be, and I couldn't wait to dive in. Purpose: This PC may be my first, but it's already exceeded my expectations. It's more than enough for me to enjoy gaming to the fullest, whether I'm exploring the vastness of space in "Elite Dangerous" or battling it out in matches of "Overwatch." Games I Play: As someone new to PC gaming, I'm still exploring all the amazing titles out there, but I've already found a couple of favorites. "Elite Dangerous" is perfect for satisfying my craving for space exploration and adventure, while "Overwatch" scratches that competitive itch with its intense multiplayer action. I'm constantly discovering new games to play and loving every minute of it. Future Upgrades and Reflections: While this PC may be perfect for me right now, I'm excited to see where my gaming journey takes me in the future. As I become more experienced with PC gaming, I might consider upgrading certain components to further enhance my gaming experience. But for now, I'm just enjoying every moment of gaming on my new setup and embracing this exciting new chapter in my gaming journey.$874.94 -

Recently, my old system with an Intel i7-4790k and a GTX 1070ti broke down. I tried for 2 days but could not get it to boot pass window start up loading screen. It's because of that and how outdated it is of a system, I decided to upgrade to a new system. I mostly just doing some lite web browsing as well as doing spreadsheet and video calling. I used to game but since my PC couldn't keep up with the new games as well as life gotten busier I stopped gaming. However, with this new machine of a beast. Every game that I tested now can do well above 100fps with games that goes to the 200fps. So hopefully I can dive back into gaming soon. I went with and Ryzen 7 5800x and ROG Strix B550 motherboard as well as an Radeon RX 7800 XT with the NZXT H6 Flow housing. I know this doesn't have much of an upgrade ability beside from going to the 5800x3d and possibly better GPU however because I want an all-white esthetic and AM4 is the cheapest to go for it.$1,499.92 -

I wanted to make the switch from console so I can play PC only games like Ready or NOT. Being a responsible adult, I had a $500 total budget and I bought the parts at the perfect time and walked out with $3 in my pocket. YUP including taxes I managed this build to be under $500. Gaming with the integrated graphics worked ok with COD: Warzone and Overwatch2 but pretty hard to play with others like Six Days in Fallujah since low settings made somethings hard to see. I managed and even started recording games for my Youtube channel. After a month and few weeks, a friend was selling his RTX 4060 so I picked it up at a steal. I picked up a ID Cooling Frostflow AIO same day . This build is perfect for beginners on $500 budget (not counting the GPU and AIO) Pics are without and with GPU and AIO installed$692.93
