Also, after years of Intel CPU dominance, Ryzen 3000 series were receiving very good reviews and I wanted to try an AMD for myself after having used Intel builds all these years. I was going to make this a balanced build between gaming as well as productivitiy. Ryzen 5 3600 showed great performance in both, so decided to pair it up with 1660 Super to build a mid-budget build!$1,014.61 -

This build was my first, and I needed something that I could WFH on for my GIS/CAD job (so able to smoothly run ArcMap, ArcPro, and CAD), but I also wanted to be able to play a wide variety of games — typically solo rpgs. I built this in early 2020 before the pandemic, and am very happy with everything so far. The only things I've upgraded have been adding more ram and storage.$1,304.90 -

This is my pc that i built in the shortage, i wish i could have a better graphics but its the best i could do with and isnt that bad. This pc cost me around 1000 dollars, it was something i have been saving money up for around 1 year and it is a relief, and relaxant that i have finally completed it [still needs upgrades]. if i would win the 250 dollars i would buy myself a AIO so i can cool my CPU i would also upgrade to 32 gb of ram and maybe even vertically mount my GPU. i hope once the shortage i can upgrade to a 20 series or maybe even a 30 series graphics card. i could not add my m.2 ssd because there were no options but it is a samsung 980 ssd 500 gb$1,069.94 -

I built this PC because I found case at Micro Center that caught my attention, the Maingear Vybe mid tower case that is in red. The purpose of this rig is basically for general computing, desktop computing, gaming. The games I play are usually FPS games from Roblox. I do plan on getting other fps games and BeamNG Drive also. I also used this to upload my gameplay videos, (channel: ix.cryorig_games) I upgraded my stock cooler to a vetroo V5, and added 2 more sticks of crucial ballistix 16gb kit at 3200mhz. Also, this build of mine was inspired after the SRT Hellcat, so the red and black theme will be perfect. I also added in some sleeved extensions from inland, and it really matches my build. My case fans are Arctic bioniX and Arctic P12 PWM PST's. Bitwit's videos also inspired me to make a build this nice!$1,131.90 -

I use my computer for gaming and i used it for school but now its summer so its all gaming the game that i play the most as of right now is valorant even though it is a love hate relationship my pc isnt that good despite the name with the biggest weakness being the graphics card but that will also be my next upgrade but as we all know it wont be easy i want to go for at least a 20 series card so i can play whatever game my friends are playing$788.91 -

Went to Micro Center with the goal to buy all my components in-store considering the current online price increase on components. I was incredibly impressed with all the options and went with what I believe was the best componets for the budget I had set. Blows my old gaming laptop out of the water. Only got the MSI 1050ti as a hold over until 3060ti's are more available.$948.94 -

So I saved up and built this. I do everything on this now, everywhere from watching lectures to working on large CAD files and playing games. I've been playing games that I can play with my friends, like Valorant, Phasmophobia, GTA, Rainbow 6 Siege and such. For these games, the 1660 Super can handle 1440 pretty well, so for my first build, I'm very satisfied. In hindsight, I think getting a 20 series card would've been nice, especially for 1440p gaming, but a lot of the budget went to the monitor (which I like very much and I can't even look at the laptop display now) and getting a worse monitor for a better graphics card wouldn't make much sense. Also, getting a semi-modular/modular PSU would've been a good idea. I think I cable-managed pretty well, but it wasn't exactly the easiest. The single RGB fan came with the case, and that is the only RGB part outside the little strip that comes on the Aorus mobo. I put it on the back as it's the only place I can see the lights from$1,441.99 -

I built this rig with the intention to play mostly FPS games like Apex and do some light 3D modeling on the side. After Covid hit I realized how lucky I was to get an upgrade from my previous laptop as it made online school much easier when running programs like Revit, building the rig also gave me a basic understanding of computers which helped me to take a tech support class. I think if I built this rig in the future I would have saved a bit more and opted for a larger hard drive but I managed to salvage a HDD from a laptop for extra storage even though it isn't the fastest thing in the world. In the near future I would like to upgrade to a monitor with a higher refresh rate.$723.90 -

I built this computer for my gaming needs and i always wanted to create something for myself to use most of my time. This fantastic Kool Aid themed PC is the first ever thing ive build about 2 weeks ago and so furthermore i decided to add in most of my RGB from NZXT to further express the red and purple bloom for my themed build, also it makes my little jug shine as bright as the red moon! Anywho my future upgrades will include a custom red and black RTX 3070 with a newer and quieter power supply that will fit my needs for ultra gaming and for my schoolwork (ill get to see texts in Google doc in beauty form lol :D). Im very proud of this build and my setup once again!$1,259.93
