So the name does not have anything to do with this build. I'm trying to make a build that will be powerful enough to allow me to run my podcast and game. Now I'm not looking to play games like sekiro or anything to demanding. I'm thinking more of divinity original sin 2 or most of the total war games. My budget is 300 that's why I have the 4 gb of ram, but will go 350 if need be. This is pretty much a start up and look to upgrade over time.$305.94 -

I got this HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop a year ago, well I know OEM rebuilt is very bad but because I need a computer with good specs that can run AAA games but there was no option than buying a rebuilt that time because GPU price was sky rocket high. The build has a 1660 Super with Ryzen 5 4600G (Ryzen 5 3600), it decent for 1080p gaming with medium-high settings. After a year, the computer works fine and really well, all I need is better power supply because it only 400w and new ram (it having 2x4gb 3200mhz ddr4) because recommended ram nowadays is 16gb, and I can see it myself that sometime I get some lag spikes. But this prebuilt HP is not easy to upgrade since the motherboard and power supply are OEMs, it has different design from normal custom build, so I have to get rid of the case, motherboard, power supply and get a new one and put the gpu, cpu, ram and storage in the build. I also have 512gb + 256gb ssd so I don't really need a storage upgrade.$306.95 -

After studying CPU design in a computer engineering class as an undergraduate I finally decided to build a computer. This was my first ever PC build and as an undergraduate student I was pretty tight on cash. I built this machine to try out PC gaming and also to get more familiar with Linux because I use a linux based distro for doing integrated circuit design for my research and wanted to be more comfortable with the OS. I also like the terminal so Linux was an easy choice. I built it out of parts I found used on facebook market place and got the processor used on Jawa.coim along with a new power supply and cpu cooler. In all the computer only cost me $300 and worked after my first try putting it together. I am currently a graduate student at a UC school studying Analog and Mixed-Signal IC design and so I use my computer mostly for remoting into servers where I run all my CAD tools.$307.84 -

Despite all that and combined with other parts it still runs every game just fine at 1080p. I mainly use this computer to review the insane amount of gaming mice I have collected. Needless to say I should probably focus more on upgrading and getting a new computer build soon :p In one of my pictures you can see a drawer full of gaming mice I own.$312.98 -

Overall, the computer was build in 2010 as I needed one to get ready for community college after I graduated high school. An old AMD GPU actually died recently, so it was replaced by my cousin's old GPU that he saved as a back-up: The GTX 770. It has helped get through college with the performance enough to browse the web and use Microsoft Word & Powerpoint, while also have some performance to play certain video games that I enjoyed. But at this very moment, I plan on building a newer, latest PC now that I have the income.$313.72 -

This computer serves 2 purposes: to stream Steam games to my Steam Link (light gaming) and an Everquest emulator server. Unlike existing Everquest emulator servers like Project1999, this server has Vallon Zek PVP rules (8 level pvp range, coin loot and 4 race teams of Human, Elf, Evil and Elf). I was able to make Sullon Zek's level range work as well, but never cared for that server.$314.99 -

An OEM I snagged and flipped a little while ago at Facebook Marketplace I plan to give it a upgrade to am4, I play mostly cpu bound games so it's needed, It may not be pretty to the RGB of today but some would say that a green pcb is the best pcb, and I wholeheartedly agree with this hypothetical person.$318.95 -

He wanted a super cheap build to play fortnite and minecraft smoothly. The heart of this PC is an old Dell XPS that has been put into a shiny new case. Surprisingly for how cheap this build cost is this is still a capable 1080p gaming PC. Might have to upgrade the platform first if he decides to dump anymore money into it. Sold it to my friend for $400.$319.95 -

This magnificent little build was put together with the sole intent of being able to play Diablo 2 Resurrected on a budget, for a friend that did not own a capable PC and needed that nostalgia fix. The goal was to play at 1080p with medium settings. I spend weeks scouring the local used market for the best deals on parts only a few generations old, so hopefully the machine stays relevant for a fair bit of time.$320.00 -
