I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

Built around the Microcenter 7800x3D bundle with the Gigabyte B650 Gaming X MB and G.Skill Flare X5 RAM. I wanted to go with something similar to the Lian Li case but found a much cheaper case from a brand I’ve never heard of but achieves the same look. Really just wanted to get something with glass panels to show off all the Arctic RGB matching fans. Also found a cheap CPU cooler that was a dual tower design to keep the 7800x3D cooled.$1,674.95 -

My computer build is a multi-purpose system and also a love letter to the amazing retro cases from Caselabs. Caselabs went bankrupt in 2018 due to the increase in import tariffs. So, to this day, finding any Caselabs product is rare and treated as collectible. My computer build features a Caselabs S3 with a black interior and white exterior. It is water-cooled using EKWB fittings and waterblocks. The coolant is a Mayhems pastel coolant that changes colors from yellow to green depending on the light. I use my computer for school, but I also built it to play 4k games without breaking a sweat. Some of the best games I've played using this computer are Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, SMITE, and Elden Ring. Some improvements I would make would be to make the custom cables shorter, just so I can reach the drain valve a little easier.$2,336.93 -

Finally decided to part ways with my old and ugly pc and upgrade after 8 long years. Had to wait forever for my 3080 Ti to arrive but it was worth the wait. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, maybe I could have done a better job with the cables but.... The only major issue is that one of my 144hz monitors doesn't have any of the ports with which I could get 144hz due to the 3080 Ti only having HDMI and DP, so I'm stuck with 60hz on that for now until I find a new one (I think)... I aimed to create a versatile build suitable for both gaming and production tasks. As a Cyber Security Student, I also enjoy gaming occasionally. The build is performing excellently. However, I must mention that initially, I had two kits of 32GB TeamGroup T-Force Delta DDR5-6400, but I encountered a display issue. After extensively researching through various reviews and Reddit posts, I discovered that I could only use one of the kits. I plan to purchase a 64GB kit in the future, and if it functions properly, I'll upgrade to that configuration.$2,096.82 -

I built this computer because for 3 years, I have been limited to playing games such as Fortnite and Minecraft on my old pc, which had an AMD Ryzen 3, Integrated graphics, and I would always have to turn down my game settings to the very lowest possible just to squeeze out 30fps. It was difficult doing even schoolwork on this computer, and one day after having to pay $300 dollars just to get an issue fixed, I decided that I was going to start saving up for a computer which would be much better than the one I currently had. I saved up all the money I could, and after almost a year of waiting I finally built it. With this new setup, I plan to play games I could have never played before, such as Rainbow Six Seige, Starfield, and more which I will discover. If I could go back, I would switch to an NZXT H6 Flow as opposed the H9, due to its similar look and the RGB version being cheaper than the H9 and coming with RGB fans. I would also switch the motherboard, since this current one only has one ARGB header, making me have to daisy chain 11 argb devices into one header. In future upgrades I plan to add some Lian-Li strimers, as they will look much better than the stock cables I have right now.$1,427.88 -

While it is quite modest, this PC has a special place in my heart just because it is the first PC I've ever built and it's what got me into PC gaming/building. I use it as an all around workstation that serves multiple uses. Whether it is school work, gaming, or just general internet browsing it has served me very well in the 2 years I've had it. As the system is getting older, the graphics card in particular is starting to show its age in newer titles so an upgrade to a 7800 XT seems very intriguing for 1440p ultrawide gaming. But nonetheless, this PC has been rock solid and a great example of a humble system for the average person.$1,093.91 -

The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. My first desktop PC was an insanely overpriced Alienware prebuilt (please don't crucify me, I was 12) that I got when I was in middle school. It was extremely heavy, had terrible airflow, and generally gave me a whole heap of issues during the like 7.5 years that I had it. Even though it was clunky, I'll always love my GTX 1070 for lasting so long and giving me many unforgettable gaming memories, from the Halo series, to Metro, to Resident Evil. Needless to say, I was long overdue for an upgrade, and with working part-time in college I was able to finally build my first PC and it was a blast. I used to primarily play older games like around 2012 to before, always at 1080p 60hz max. For this build I wanted to make the jump to 2K or 1440p and shoot for a higher refresh rate at at least the 144hz mark. I also wanted water cooling and plenty of fans that I could control to optimize airflow, without having rainbow vomit RBG everywhere (although I see and respect everyone's colorful builds). I've been wanting to build my own PC for years, but after buying the Dead Space remake on steam and having it be borderline unplayable on the lowest settings, I knew it was time for an upgrade. I've stress tested my build with Dead Space, RDR2, GTA V, Metro Exodus, No Man's Sky, and even some Half Life Alyx and couldn't be happier with my target performance. Having started with a 500GB HDD in middle school and eventually maturing into a digital hoarder, I was super happy knowing I could take advantage of my MOBOs 3 M.2 SSD slots, and the added SSD and HDD bracket hidden in the back of my case. Microcenter's bundles made building my PC a breeze, and the only thing I did have trouble on was my GPU. I know there's a lot of discourse regarding Nvidia's 4000 series and their VRAM, but with the market stabilizing a bit after everything, I felt glad at the end of the day with my choice. Performance wise I couldn't be happier. Super fast bootup and processing times, access to DLSS and ray tracing, and an insane boost in quality and frames compared to my old 1070 make using this PC night and day. I picked up a 1440p 165Hz LG UltraGear monitor and WOW; for the price I spent (which was way less than I spent on my prebuilt back then) the performance was great. I feel set for the foreseeable future, besides replacing my AIO in 5 years or inevitably buying more storage and drives. Besides that, there's not much else. The case and build went really smoothly, and I did get confused at some parts but I worked it out (such as forgetting to remove the plastic sticker on my CPU cooler...or not removing the grate my AIO radiator attached to for easier screwing). Overall I'm very happy, and using an unlocked "k" intel CPU finally let's me enable XMP and get the most out of my RAM (6000MHz!).$1,264.94 -

Recently, my old system with an Intel i7-4790k and a GTX 1070ti broke down. I tried for 2 days but could not get it to boot pass window start up loading screen. It's because of that and how outdated it is of a system, I decided to upgrade to a new system. I mostly just doing some lite web browsing as well as doing spreadsheet and video calling. I used to game but since my PC couldn't keep up with the new games as well as life gotten busier I stopped gaming. However, with this new machine of a beast. Every game that I tested now can do well above 100fps with games that goes to the 200fps. So hopefully I can dive back into gaming soon. I went with and Ryzen 7 5800x and ROG Strix B550 motherboard as well as an Radeon RX 7800 XT with the NZXT H6 Flow housing. I know this doesn't have much of an upgrade ability beside from going to the 5800x3d and possibly better GPU however because I want an all-white esthetic and AM4 is the cheapest to go for it.$1,499.92 -

I built this rig to learn more about computers and to replace my laptop because it was really slow (turns out I accidentally disable onboard graphics). I primarily use it for gaming and schoolwork. I currently only play games like Fortnite and Roblox, but I'm planning to add more games in the future such as Apex, Warzone, Minecraft, etc. Also note that some of the pricing is inaccurate to what I paid as I purchased most parts on sale during Cyber Monday and Black Friday. I also understand budgeting wasn't great, but for a lot of items I just got the most expensive one on biggest sale lol.$1,132.98 -

I was overdue for a graphics card upgrade (had previously been using an nvidia gtx 1060 6gb card). Actually, make that overdue for an everything upgrade. I finally decided that the time was now because the 4070 super at around $600 according to the reviews delivers exactly the kind of 1440p resolution gaming performance that I have been looking for. I mainly play looter shooter games like the Borderlands series and the other borderlands spinoffs.$580.93 -

My first ever PC build, where I wanted to make absolutely no compromises on airflow, as I've had bad experiences in the past from premade systems. I was very pleased to find out I had no trouble getting the PC to work. The case was great to build in, and the video helped a ton in feeling secure as a newbie. I did have to replace the originally included side fans (non-RGB) out of necessity, because they made an uncomfortable humming sound, and also weren't PWM, which did not allow me the control that I wanted. Also, I didn't know originally, how much LEDs actually enhance the beauty of a build, if you don't use red, green or rainbow colors.$1,714.73 -

Found someone local selling computer components for $250 for CPU+MB+RAM+CPUCooler+GPU and ended up picking up a Cooler Master TD500 Mesh and the power supply seperately in order to get everything together. This will be setup for someone who has been looking to start using a computer and of course having the GPU will be able to play some games that is age appropriate for them. Their parents were looking to buy a cheap computer and this build came out to be a lot less than their set budget (was 700).$480.00 -

I am playing Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and Avatar now. Probably more later. I really am glad to have gone all AMD with it. the processor and graphics cards are basically sleeping even while playing on high graphics mode. I sometimes have the performance view of task manager up and I've yet to crack 50% usage. Only thing I may have done differently is a different motherboard. It works fine, but it tried to install a manager that did NOT work. when installed it froze the computer after running. I had to boot into safe mode to get rid of it by deleting manually and removing from the registry. Trying to uninstall froze everything as well. So DON"T install the gigabyte management software.$1,269.94 -

The 7600X can run a little hot at times but from what I've read that's normal and its not uncommon to see 95c. Typical gaming temps average 60-75c. Idles around 35-40c depending on ambient temp. The 4070ti Gaming x Trio is great, last card was the 3060ti Gaming z Trio and its a nice upgrade. The Gaming Trio cards are solid, think it'd be hard to find any issues with them. 0% fan option and low temps when gaming, 40-65c. Chose the motherboard because it was one of the cheaper ATX AM5 boards with 2 m.2 slots. All I can say really. WiFi is a nice extra. RAM is RAM very nice B) think I might add another 32GB at some point. The AIO seems decent enough. First time having one in a build. Really like the case, plenty of space inside for any future upgrades and the stock fans are pretty nice, especially the front 2 200mm ones. Quiet and provide a lot of airflow with decent RGB. Only downside I've found so far is the long AM5 boot times. Info was a little blurry but from what I've read it's to do with the RAM and should improve over time but we'll see. Not a major issue. Overall happy with the build. Gives me a platform for future AM5 upgrades.$1,854.91 -

I used to just buy pre-built PCs before and ever since my previous one died, I've decided to have a go. Was surprised how relatively easy it was. Granted, however, that I've invested quite some hours into youtube and reddit studying the topic lol. Happy how it turned out, the next step will be to buy a vertical GPU mount and to wait until my NZXT hub arrives, so I can connect the Streamer Lian Li cables. The fan config is 4 exhaust (1 rear, 3 top) and 6 intake reverse blade fans (3 side, 3 bottom).$2,675.28 -

I decided that I wanted to put all the various gift cards to good use and make a desktop build that's dedicated to running video editing applications. I have a primary gaming pc hooked up to a large hdtv that is geared completely toward gaming performance. So instead of making that one build work for both needs, what you see here is a budget-friendly no-frills setup dedicated to video editing. Of course, I opted for AMD because of the value associated with their cpu's that have both several cores/threads and also on-chip graphics.$759.93 -

I decided after years and years of using a gaming laptop that enough was enough and it was time to do a proper PC upgrade so I could play whatever I wanted while having as many internet browser tabs open without the fans sounding like a rocket at liftoff. Originally had in mind a smaller case and a cheaper build but as the GPU shortage affected what I could get and with the launch of Intel's 12th gen CPUs I decided to spec it higher. I was a bit limited by what I had already bought at that point (primarily the AIO, would get a 360mm if I could go back and redo it). I knew I wanted a white build and since I've been playing Genshin Impact since day one, I decided to theme this build around Celestia / Mondstadt and my favourite characters. The Corsair 5000D Airflow comes with a grey bezel and feet which I removed and spray painted gold.$2,019.90
