This was the first gaming computer that I built when I first started this rabbit hole that was pc gaming. I had no idea what I was doing, and I even had my friend give me a parts list. All I wanted to do was see what the hype was about pc gaming since my friend group at the time all played on pc. I didn't start buying the parts till months later for 2 major reasons. One is that I completely forgot about my wanting a pc and just forgetting about it in general. And two, these bunch of idiots played league of legends, and that in itself was one major reason I wanted to delay the inevitable of losing of my soul. Besides league of legends, it hurts my soul saying that I do play some Valorant, and Final Fantasy XIV from time to time. I already upgraded the cool master fan cooler I had to the NZXT Kraken Z63 since I saw it on a tech video and instantly bought it. Another upgrade that I did recently bought 32GB of Corsair RGB vengeance ram since there we on sale and just had some money to spare. For future upgrades, the first thing that I can think of is to upgrade the CPU. Currently rocking an i5-8600K and trying to upgrade to an i9- 9900K for one simple purpose. That dice box that comes with it is so cool and I can’t be the only one that wants to tape it close and run it as a DnD die. Another is to change the current RGB power supply cables that I have to the Lian Li strimmer plus just so I can the backside of the cable isn't as bad as the current one.$2,697.80 -

Zwift is a cycling workout/racing game/service that uses input from a smart trainer to measure power output to interact with the Zwift environment. Performance requirements are modest, but decent single-core performance and a mid-level GPU are optimal; resource constraints can impact in-game power output, putting you at a disadvantage in racing. However, the game performance is capped at a certain point, so higher end GPUs are wasted. This PC is also occasionally used as a spare gaming and productivity PC, as well as for other cycling performance apps.$2,594.96 -

Introducing my latest creation, a build that combines power, efficiency, and aesthetics to cater to both my professional and personal computing needs. At the heart of this machine is the mighty Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core CPU, coupled with NVIDIA RTX A4000 workstation GPU, 64GB of 3200MHz RAM, all nestled mostly* inside the sleek and compact Fractal Terra Mini case. Why I Built It: As a manufacturing engineer, I work extensively with software and require a system that can effortlessly manage complex modeling in SolidWorks and render Unreal Engine graphics. Simultaneously, as a lifelong gaming enthusiast, I wanted a rig capable of delivering unparalleled gaming experiences. From my daily work routines to unwinding with the latest AAA titles, this build fits the bill. This rig has transformed my workflow, enabling faster render times, smoother gaming experiences, and overall improved efficiency. Professional Work: In my profession, time and precision are of the essence. Whether it's modeling intricate designs in SolidWorks or handling software integral to manufacturing engineering, the synergy of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000 makes my work more efficient and enjoyable. Gaming: As a gamer, I wanted a system that can conquer the latest AAA titles and provide immersive gameplay. With the powerful combination of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000, I've been playing games like Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and NFS Heat at ultra-high settings without breaking a sweat. Modeling and Graphics: For my professional pursuits, this build shines in applications like SolidWorks, where precision and performance are paramount. Unreal Engine graphics projects come to life like never before, rendering in real-time and allowing me to explore my creativity in new dimensions. Future Upgrades & Hindsight: In the future, I might explore adding expanded storage capacity to accommodate larger projects. Overall, I am ecstatic with the result. Conclusion: This build is more than just a computer; it's a reflection of my professional life as a manufacturing engineer and my love for gaming and technology. It's a hub for creativity, relaxation, and connection, playing a central role in my daily life. I welcome fellow engineers, gamers, and enthusiasts to share their thoughts, insights, or simply join in the conversation. Let's connect and continue to innovate!$2,174.91 -

I needed a new desktop to use for music production and occasionally play video games. I travel from college to home and so finding a small case was one of my priorities. I use FL Studio and various virtual instruments, which require high computing power and some RAM. For video games, I sometimes play Valorant and CSGO. For future upgrades, I want to get a new graphics card because I'm using an old one that I had from 2016.$1,684.92
