The system was originally built for benching in overclocking competitions, specifically for CPU and memory overclocking. It has since been used for general web browsing and gaming, with some performance tweaking going on every now and then when I get the urge. I can bench the delidded 8700k at 5.4ghz (Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on the die) in Cinebench and my memory runs stable at DDR4 4000 C15-15-15-30 with a Command Rate of 2. tREFI at 65535 and tRFC at 300. Every single timing has been tightened to their limits, from primaries all the way down to the last tertiary timing. RTL and IO-L values have been manually dialed in to prevent the RAM from training outside of my specifications. Currently, the least impressive aspect of my system is the graphics card. It's a stock RTX 2080 Ti using a reference PCB and modded to use my old 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid cooler. Anything is possible with a rotary tool. I plan on using a custom Heatkiller Pro IV block to replace the FTW3 hybrid cooler and eventually mod the card to support a higher power limit through shunt mods. My cooling solution is quite overkill, hence the name of this build. My CPU water block is a Heatkiller Pro IV. My loop has a massive 1260mm radiator with 18 Corsair ML140 fans in a push-pull configuration. My water never exceeds the ambient air temperature in my room. It's for this exact reason that I am able to bench my processor as high as 5.4ghz, and run at 5.1ghz stable under load. I use a standard EKWB D5 Liang pump which has a high enough flow rate to move the liquid through my radiator. To top everything off, I use a little pink desk fan to keep my motherboard VRM's cool under this heavy load. If it looks stupid but works, it's not stupid.$4,067.68 -

A simple seamless NZXT case with a see through side panel shows off the simplistic inner workings of this build. With RGB ram and RGB heat sink, this build will let the user enjoy any entry level or mid level game without crashing or freezing. With the OS installed to the SSD for a speedy startup and a seagate harddrive for everything else this customer will never have to worry about missing a battle online because his computer did not boot up fast enough, or worry that his system will not be able to handle high end games when he gets to that point because he has 16 gbs of ram to support that SSD and AMD Ryzen CPU.$1,128.90 -

This computer laughs at every triple A game and completes most tasks with a breeze. Not only is this computer a powerhouse but it has the lights to match it. 5 full RGB fans, along with 4 RGB strips, a RGB CPU cooler and RGB ram, how much more can you ask for. Also don't forget the motherboard and GPU have customizable lighting as well. With software like Icue, you can change the lighting however you want. This rig with an i9-9900k and an ASUS ROG Strix 2080ti, this computer doesn't have many rivals. You could perform the most demanding tasks for days and the computer would never lose an inch of speed. This rig can do almost anything and allow a user to accomplish all his tasks with ease. This is a dream build for any one.$3,169.88 -

Decided to do a new build around the wonderful Ryzen 2700x CPU, and I'm very glad I did. It's a very fast processor that handles gaming, streaming and video editing with no issues at all. The Wraith Prism cooler it comes with is the best cooler I've ever seen bundled with a processor too. The RX5700XT Red Devil keeps all games running smoothly at high frame rates in 1440p even with high or ultra settings. Of course, I also had to put in a lot of RGB. The corsair HD120 fans have no diffusion on the RGB leds, which pair perfectly with the corsair led strips, while keeping everything cool. This InWin case doesn't come with any fans, but has room for up to 6. It also features a tool-less tempered glass panel on the side and RGB on the InWin logo. Because of the side intake the case stays very cool, even with a closed off front panel. There's also an included GPU bracket to protect it from sagging, very useful for a big card like the 5700XT Red Devil!$1,958.34 -

This is not this customer’s first experience with Micro Center - he has come to us several times with this case before and knew our abilities. He decided that his original build in this Cougar Conqueror Case was outdated, so he did some research and decided on what he wanted including what components of the original build could be used. This is no ordinary computer, with its open air case with all see through panels the cable management was a feat on its own, the customer made it very clear that this build would be a thing of pride something to show off to all of his fans. It included FOUR RGB Trident RAM sticks - the ones that look like diamonds! Amazing graphics were not enough, he needed out of this world real life graphics, so he chose TWO Gigabyte RTX 2080ti graphics cards that he could run in SLI mode. A silent all in one liquid cooler from Corsair fitted with RGB fans and TWO SSD's - one from the original build plus one brand new!$4,612.88 -

He was given a budget of $5,000 and he was able to use the brand new Intel 9900KS processor. Linus decided to use the Asus TUF Gaming GT501 case with Corsair RGB fans. He built a very powerful PC including 2 Nvidia RTX 2080 TI graphics cards. Linus put this system together in our workshop and decided he wanted to sell it. With limited time left in the day, he priced this $5,000 PC at small discount for $20! The lucky customer who first noticed this PC was purchasing it as a birthday gift for her brother. Unfortunately Linus was not able to accept credit card payment at his cardboard stand, so he knocked another $5 off the price. With $15 cash in hand, he headed to Carl's Jr. after a successful, hard day of work! Thanks so much to Linus for coming out and filming in our store. We had a blast and can't wait for the next time you're in town! To see the full video visit Linus' channel here: https://youtu.be/5rwYjRzLHHI$4,904.83 -

The customer wanted a gaming computer built for his son that was similar to the Maingear customer loop that we have on the sales floor. His son was around 12-14 years old and was adamant about having a 2080 TI in the system, however they did not like how a custom water loop interfered with repairs or upgrades in the future. They went with a closed loop CPU water cooler instead with the rest of the system being air cooled.$2,989.89 -

This gaming PC was created with some help from Microcenter who sponsored a project for us, the Toastybros, to head out to the Sharonville Microcenter and build a PC with a max budget of $1,000. We built this around the time Microcenter was having a deal on the Ryzen 7 2700x where it was only $130. Insane value. The best part is, once we built this PC in the back of the Microcenter, we found a lucky random shopper to give this PC to for free. We love to give back, and if you would like to see the video we made, check it out here! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxsQN4TRDDo&t=2s$964.93 -
