Forged in the beating heart of a dragon, the shedstation contains the latest bleeding edge tech from last gen. It mostly runs warcraft and dota and sits on a fully custom 3D printed modular PC case. Need to get me a Keychron K3 though, and I need to find a spot for my CRT and 4K monitor. Also currently using a custom Mouse + Keypad contraption for multiboxing classic wow$1,134.95 -

This PC was built with no specific purpose other than do anything my busy mind decides to focus on at any moment. I do business, photography, gaming, video editing, streaming and race sim / vr all from this bad boy. Slowly upgrading parts over time allows me to stay on top of the trends but I think I found a point where an upgrade isn't necessary (unless 3080s become easily in stock) I'll try to get better pictures later lol$1,166.94 -

Hi all, I built this rig as an upgrade from my classic i5 4690k and GTX 970 starter build and the experience has been a lot of fun. It started off as a GPU upgrade for my old build, but after some pretty bad CPU bottlenecking in Forza Horizon 4, Warzone, and Red Dead 2, I went ahead and overhauled the rest of the system. I hadn't actually planned to do a water cooled build, but I picked up the cooler master AIO second hand for $50 and then after some abysmal GPU temps under load (~85C) I decided to look into water cooling the GPU. I was able to get the Kraken G12 bracket from Microcenter for only $20 and then I snagged an EVGA CLC 120mm AIO from their B-Stock page for a whopping $30. From there I began my first custom mod of mounting the water cooler to my EVGA RTX 2070. Allegedly the Kraken G12 is incompatible with the 2070, but to my pleasant surprise the AMD mounting arms worked perfectly and I didn't even have to cut or drill anything. Now I'm able to get a solid 2070MHz clock speed and my temps cap out at 55C. Ideally I'd like to get a 240mm or 280mm AIO to put on the GPU to try and push the temp lower core clock higher, but there's no room in my current case. I did splurge a little bit in some places, like the motherboard (could've got a B450 Tomahawk instead) and sleeved cables, but they only set me back about $75 so I'd say its worth it. Otherwise every component of this build was either purchased at a significant discount or in used condition to save money. All together I was able to assemble this build for right around $1000 which I'm pretty happy with :) In hindsight I wish I'd spend a little bit more on the GPU and gone for a refurb 1080ti or maybe a 2080, but the 2070 sets me up for a good 1440p 144Hz experience. In the future I really want to change the case to an O11 Dynamic and install a larger radiator for the GPU, but for now my little waterbox is all I need.$1,177.76 -

It was a great learning experience. I mainly play multiplayer FPS games like RB6 Seige and Warzone. At 1080p high settings system performed very well. Cooling was the only thing I was concerned about. However beefy air coolers these days get the job done. First case I picked up had few broken components including case. So, replaced it with a new case. If you are first time builder please make sure that the Power Supply and Air Cooler are compatible with the case that your are choosing and if you are skeptical and have more space; you can always pick up larger case just to be on the safe side. This is my first PC build I mainly built it because I've always wanted to build a pc and game on one after such a long time of wanting this year I decided and end up with this build. I love playing Apex Legends and look forward to playing the new far cry game. I would definitely like to upgrade my GPU to something more powerful because I am looking to do some video editing and animation, also would love to upgrade my cooling system to water cooling so I can overclock, I love tweaking my PC for more power and efficiency. Thank you for your time and game on.$1,219.92 -

It handles everything, from gaming to personal business to moderator duty at a couple of online forums to general browsing. The name "Sable-6" designates that this is the sixth generation of this computer, starting way back in the socket 939 days with a 3200+. All of my builds evolve as I upgrade as I can afford it which is true for this one. The sixth generation originated when I upgraded from a Ryzen 1600 and a B350 mobo to my current 3600X and X570 board. Since that time I have upgraded the case, PSU, GPU, storage, AiO cooler, and monitors. I am still adding to my rig here and there as there is always room for improvement. My monitor setup is a bit of a waste for the most part as I primarily play Battlefield 4 but I had always wanted a 3+1 setup. **Note: My actual motherboard is an ASRock X570 EXTREME4 WiFi AX but it is not a choice below. My actual RAM is 4x8GB XPG Spectrix D41 RGB 3200MHz. My all-in-one cooler is a SilverStone Technology PF240-ARGB Permafrost 240mm All in One Multi-Chamber Addressable RGB CPU Liquid Cooler. My storage solutions are as follows: C drive - Samsung 970 Evo M.2 (256GB), D drive "Games" - Corsair p1 M.2 (1TB), E drive "programs" - Samsung 860 EVO SSD (500GB), F drive "Downloads" - WD Green HDD (2TB). The monitor setup is three Sceptre E255B-1658A 24.5" 165Hz monitors, a single ancient NEC MultiSync 19" monitor, and all are mounted on a VIVO Quad LCD Monitor Desk Stand.$1,249.93 -
