Everything has been upgraded over the past year to this build. I use it for pretty much everything, but I mostly use it for gaming. Right now I am addicted to rimworld, but I will definitely start elden ring when the new DLC comes out. I just bought a 4k monitor last month, so the 4070ti super has its work cut out for it. I made sure to buy the extra 80 dollar return policy for the graphics card, it is a no brainer honestly. The GPU was also really cheap because it was in the open box section. I was refreshing that item for weeks until it finally went down to a really good price. I probably would have went with a different cooler, but not sure what. I didn't even think about the cooler when buying the parts, I just got what the microcenter employee recommended and handed me.$1,577.91 -

Built this PC because I was guilted by my friends to play Hell Divers II. My wife also needed a PC to do our taxes on every year. The goal was mild future proofing (the GPU is my Bottleneck) and escalated quite a bit from the original build scope thanks to the Ryzen 7 7700x bundle. I am able to play games at 1440 on high settings and 1080 ultra settings at a minimum of 65-80 fps. The original purpose was just to have a racing sim rig. I do many things with a pc(Play Games, Run LLMs, Write Code, ETC,)and I got sick of my old laptop(i5-10300H, GTX 1650 TI mobile, 8gb DDR4 2933mhz.) So I decided to build a brand new powerhouse, in which I am writing this right now. Now that I have built my own rig at this point, time to give you some advice. First and foremost, if you want the absolute best PTP(Price To Performance)PLEASE do not give in to any of those prebuilt pcs, they are built and sold for a profit(which I, in all means respect.)Like I got a 4070 TI Super and Ryzen 9 7950x3d, With the amount that I spent I could only get an i9-13900kf and 4070 TI from NZXT and from Build Redux I could only get a 4070 TI Super and 7950x with only 16gb ram(in NZXT and custom I got 32gb). And for my 2nd piece of advice, enjoy the build expierience you know, have fun.$2,572.91 -

While it is quite modest, this PC has a special place in my heart just because it is the first PC I've ever built and it's what got me into PC gaming/building. I use it as an all around workstation that serves multiple uses. Whether it is school work, gaming, or just general internet browsing it has served me very well in the 2 years I've had it. As the system is getting older, the graphics card in particular is starting to show its age in newer titles so an upgrade to a 7800 XT seems very intriguing for 1440p ultrawide gaming. But nonetheless, this PC has been rock solid and a great example of a humble system for the average person.$1,093.91 -

We played Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, and Fortnite, and he's been having a blast on his time off from work. I'm glad that everything turned out ok, and for the price to performance, I'm really glad about how everything turned out. Along with that, I wanted this to be an upgrade to our family's main workstation PC which was an ancient HP desktop that we got back in 2008. For what he does, it will last him for another 5-10 years. Thanks to Micro Center for stocking all of these parts at great prices!$561.76 -

I saved tons by buying RAM, cooling, and CPU used online. I also managed to find an Aorus Master for $110, which was a steal, even though it doesn’t have CPU OCing. I didn’t want to go too crazy with RGB, but when you keep your lighting at white, blue, and purple, it looks pretty slick, and not like something a 10-year-old drew. I haven’t gotten three of the fans yet, but my temps are honestly doing just fine without them, and I love the NZXT cooling, because it keeps my temps low without being too loud. I’ve been using this for CAD, some 4K gaming at relatively high settings(the GPU is doing fine), programming(hence the i9 and 32GB of RAM), and work/online school. No problems, except that I was considering going for the pricier 6950(which is $200 more expensive, but has 150% the performance of the 6750), and I might eventually upgrade my GPU. Also, the SSD is the slowest m.2 SSD on the market, but it’s still faster than most HDDs, and it was $30. If I were to do it again, I would go for a Samsung SSD for maybe $60, with much better performance. I don’t mind the SSD too much, though.$1,397.91 -

I started conceptualizing my build about a year before I actually started buying the components. I worked on a budget, did hours of research, talked to experts and finally realized my plans during Covid when I turned 13 years old. Because stores were closed for Covid, I had to buy the parts over the internet - and even almost got scammed on my graphics card. Something was fishy to me so I cancelled the order and thankfully didn't lose anything. The ultimate dream was to have an RTX 3080, but it was way above my budget because it was the time when everyone was buying graphics cards to mine for crypto. I settled on a 2060 and honestly wasn't disappointed. It's been 2 years since my build and I have done a few upgrades - including picking up some PSU RGB extension cables from MicroCenter and a recent upgrade to a RTX4070TI which I am excited about. My next upgrade will probably be to convert to a water cooling system. I really like the RGB look of my computer and will always look to add more somehow. I built this computer for both gaming and school work. I play Minecraft, CSGO, GTA V, APEX Legends, Wolfenstein and a few other games.$1,059.93 -

It performs great and I am real pleased with the build and value. My only regret is not paying a little more for a motherboard with wifi included.$1,239.91 -

I think it turned out very well, and with a few tweaks to the GPU settings, I can hit over 100 fps on all current games (Minecraft, Fortnite, Battlefield, etc.) at 1080p medium graphics settings. I like to run a few cad sims and code just for fun. I don't really do any computationally demanding tasks, so the parts I have are significant for my current needs. I plan on upgrading sometime in the near future (around Q3 2023) to something like a 3070 ti/ 4070 or a 6800 xt so I can run games at 1440p.$939.91 -
