I want to share my first-ever DIY gaming PC build. I call it Snow Yeti because it's an all-white build! The build came together very well and seamlessly. The H9 case is a fantastic large case that's easy to work on. The glass panel is very durable and looks amazing. I can see everything inside. The Kraken AIO CPU cooler is very cool! It's quiet and has a display on the cooler head that can be adjusted to display anything I want.$1,847.94 -

On weekends it’s for gaming and watching YouTube and on weekdays it’s for homework and if I have time (which I won’t) it’s for the same stuff as weekends. I will probably get a better monitor, a few more fans and more storage like a fast m.2 but it’s a great pc and it doesn’t need to be upgraded in several years.$1,846.92 -

I will describe my thought process with some of the components and if you have any questions I’d be happy to share my experience. CPU - I chose the Ryzen 5 7600x because my main activity was gaming and I got a great deal on it at $199. I game mostly at 1440p and 4k so it handles everything I throw at it extremely well. Generally when gaming I don’t see temps over 75 C. On cinebench, my score is around 15k. Starfield seems to run a little hotter than other games (even Cyberpunk) CPU Cooler - Thermalright Peerless assassin RGB - seems to work pretty well overall. Make sure it fits in your case, it’s pretty big. RGB lights sync well with all the other lights in the case. Installation was pretty simple overall. GPU - I originally had the rx 6800 but was a little underwhelmed with the performance. Specifically on Elden Ring, my PS5 seemed to play it better. I decided to sell that and upgrade to the 7900 XT and wow, this GPU is awesome. I’m playing Cyberpunk on Ultra settings with no RT and I’m getting around 120 fps on average in 1440p. My TimeSpy score is around 25,000. The only drawback is RayTracing, but personally I don’t really notice a huge difference except the drop in FPS… so RT is not really important to me. I also love the 20 GB of VRAM and feel like that’s going to future proof the build well. Case - H5 Flow - This case was really easy to build in for a first time builder. I really like the GPU fan at the bottom of the case. My GPU always stays pretty cool compared to my CPU. Also the RGB fans are really nice looking. Motherboard - B650 tomahawk - I liked this MB mainly because it had a pre installed IO shield. I also think that the MSI bios is pretty easy to navigate and tweak settings. I made sure to update the BIOS as soon as everything posted. PSU - Corsair 1000w - Works very well. Plenty of headroom for future upgrades.$1,842.46 -

I have wanted to build a PC for many years but never found the right time to do it as I had a ps5 and didn't think there was a point in getting a pc if I had to skimp out on a few parts. This summer I decided to research and build myself a gaming pc that I would be able to enjoy. While I was able to spend a little more than I would have been able to a few years ago, I didn't go all out on RGB or other visuals. The parts I ended up choosing will be able to hold me off for a couple of years while still giving me the ability to enjoy higher settings. I'm always willing to add small accessories that might add to the appeal of my pc. As this is my first pc build ever, I am always willing to listen if anyone has any tips or opinions. My first upgrade will be adding an RGB exhaust fan to the case as all my fans are either at the front or top currently. When starting the build, I was nervous to see if I would actually be able to turn it on without any help. Luckily I ended up not needing it, but having a Micro Center 20 minutes away that I could ask to help if I got stuck definitely made it less intimidating. All in all, for my first attempt, it went well. Ready to enjoy using my build for the foreseeable future as well as any upgrades that might come with it. (It took about 6 hours from opening the first box to entering the BIOS for the first time)$1,841.91 -

The main reason I decided to build this computer is because my old desktop of 6 years suddenly died in the middle of a League of Legends game. I was devastated. So, while I was mourning my loss, I decided to get a new gaming rig. My aging 1050 laptop needed an upgrade, so I decided it was time for a new system. I hunted for discounts aggressively: scoring free RAM bundled with the CPU, opting for B-stock fans, and snagging the case, PSU, and SSD on sale. Building the new setup was a breeze from start to finish. The H7 Flow case is not only beautiful but also spacious and enjoyable to work with. Even the B-stock fans looked brand new. My only complaint is that the a-rgb headers are inconveniently placed, making cable management a bit messy. The performance is impressive. The Sims 3 runs at an absurd 700-800 fps with all settings maxed out, while Ark: Survival Ascended, a more demanding title, sits comfortably in the 70s on high and epic settings. The CPU and GPU temperatures rarely exceed 60°C.$1,829.92 -
