This was a build that me and my brother did together and with the release of Ark 2 next year, we wanted a pc that would be able to run it. Also, we never had a gaming pc, so this is our first one and we thought we’d get a fairly high end pc to make it worth the while. Another reason my and my brother built this PC was because I wanted to get better at 3d modeling and animation in blender. Before building the computer, I was working on an intel I5 MacBook and it was cutting it, so I was really excited to get a computer to learn more things. I’m also thinking of doing YouTube on the PC and start a gaming channel, and maybe try a bit of streaming at some point. As of now, our build has been completed for about two weeks and it runs at good temperatures and it’s powerful. The games we have so far are mostly free games like valorant and rocket league, but we also have minecraft and Green Hell, but we’re thinking of getting Inside The Backrooms and Valheim.$1,660.87 -

Had always wanted to build my own computer ever since I was in elementary school. Was offered an opportunity to build my own pc back then by my father who then retracted it stating that girls don’t need to build PCs. He then offered the build to my brother. It was so satisfying to put together my own pc today to prove him wrong.$1,689.92 -

I decided to wait for the new graphics cards to be released at the end of this year. Consequently, I decided to build with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with graphics. The graphics performance isn't amazing but it is serviceable enough for the main game I play (destiny 2).$1,274.93 -

I built it because i was tired of using oem bloated systems that were so limited in upgrade ability , the lack of cooling from sealed metal boxes, and bloatware, games never reached its full potential, but now, I decided after 3 years of wishing, dreaming of building my own system, and play games was finally complete, but of course this is just the beginning, i will slowly further upgrade this setup in the future, and I hope for now many of you like this starter setup.$1,234.87 -

After watching PC builds non stop while I had COVID, I think my first ever build turned out alright. My previous computer was a 7 year old Erazer x315, and after quite a bit of time it was finally burning out. This PC will be used primarily for working from home doing digital marketing and graphic design, with some light video editing thrown in. I know I'm going to catch some flak for some of my part choices. I had a strict budget that I needed to stick to so here's the explanation for the parts that I think will cause the most controversy: Intel i5 10400 - Found this for $125 and with the high prices for AMD, I couldn't justify the extra 100 for the 3% performance boost with the 3600. Gigabyte B460 - The crazy high prices of the Z490 boards meant they weren't in the budget. This also limited my intel choices since the newer cards require the newer boards. GeForce 1060 - This was one of the only components I was able to salvage from my old machine, and thank goodness with graphics prices being what they are right now.$396.95
