I use my PC for gaming, recording videos, watching shows and videos, and doing schoolwork. I'm currently working on the "Akatsuki" themed aesthetic with the Tobi Funko pop, and I'm gonna add cable extensions later on. I'll likely upgrade the GPU, at some point in the future before switching over to AM5. The things I would've done differently were to get a AIO cooler for my CPU, and get the 5800x3D rather than the regular 5800x$1,204.97 -

After we changed out a lot of different furniture pieces, we needed to move to a build footprint that was rougly half the size of the old atx mid tower case. Thankfully this wasn't much of a problem since the previous build was 80% empty space. This is not a gaming pc and performance needs are very casual for the use of occasional guests we have stay in our home. The focus was condesing the overall size to fit on a small desk. Many pieces of the previous build we re-used. The previous atx sized motherboard was replaced with a motherboard of mini itx size.$418.93 -

With 4k not being too relevant just yet, this was an affordable option without giving up too much performance, but still look good and perform well! Overkill 980 Pro for Boot and 2TB Evo for everything else! Will probably upgrade to 7800x3D and 7800XT/ GRE sometime this year when the sales roll around!$2,057.96 -

Case was great to build in and had no issues with MC or any of their parts. Good prices for the parts imo but the cooler was a bit pricey. Great MB with onboard WiFi for the B550 chipset. They need something that will meet minimum standards to play their basic games, do homework, and other general PC-based activities. This was the plan going into this project. It isn't top of the line by ANY standard, but it can be considered a gaming rig. It was built for a 10 year old, so the standards didn't have to be high, but it DID need to meet certain minimum requirements with processing speed, RAM, and graphics capabilities.$447.94 -

The main reason I built this was because I wanted something smaller that I could use in the living room when I decide to do another higher end build. I really don't do anything crazy when it comes to games anymore, I think the most intensive game I play is still Forza Horizon 5. So with that all in mind, I decided on all of these parts for a smooth 1440p experience. I still debate if I want to make an upgrade to a 5800x3d, but I'm not sure it will be worth it knowing I won't be upgrading anything else in this pc. The CPU and GPU seem to work great together and everything remains cool and quite how it is.$951.82 -

The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. Performance is great at 1080p and even 1440p as the RTX 3060 is still a great card for most games. The white Powerspec power supply with white cable sleeves really completes this PC as only the GPU and motherboard stand out as not matching the colour scheme.$675.93 -

Purchase mainly everything from Newegg as most of the parts are much cheaper than the bigger manufacturers. I mainly got the case that looked similiar to the Lian Li Dynamic that most build in, however this came with pre-installed RGB fans and came in white! If you haven't noticed, but I tried to keep all parts white as much as possible where I could. Of course having the 5600G is a great APU processor, I was handed down the 6600 XT from a friend who recently updated to a 7900 XTX. Mainly playing Genshin Impact and doing my dailies! Built this originally with a 5600G to utilize the APU to game at 720p, however found a used GTX 1080 to be able to play at a higher resolution with increased graphics settings. It is being used by my 5 year old who just started playing Minecraft and Roblox. Of course I encourage him to play games on websites like PBSKids and other sites to keep up with learning as well. This is nothing fancy but beats getting a prebuilt from Dell or HP. I found the PC Case on Newegg and most other components on Amazon. Thankfully I have a MicroCenter nearby and was able to get the MB and CPU bundle to save me a bit of money.$434.93
