I built it to get more into gaming and to further my interest with tech. I play story driven games like assassins creed and fps game. I also enjoy more laid back games such as Minecraft, terraria, and bloons tower defense. I used to edit videos for my YouTube channel on it also. I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3400G to a Ryzen 5 5600 and am about to upgrade from an rx6500xt to an Rtx 3070. I also recently got my first 1440p monitor.$852.92 -

Wasn’t 100% sure that I’d want to make a switch from console gaming so I did settle for the much maligned 6500 XT to avoid spending a fortune on a higher tier or used GPU that I might not end up using as much. I’m using this for normal tasks and light gaming. The 6500 XT works well enough for Overwatch and Fortnite but struggles when you notch up graphics quality to the highest tier. I don’t recommend the card unless it’s in your price range and you have reasonable expectations. The M.2 ran a bit warm under heavy data transfers even with the MSI Frozr heatsink that came with the mobo. The ineo heatsink actually works which was a bit of a surprise. Barely fits in between the stock Wraith CPU cooler and the GPU. If you want to use the fan, know that it’s loud and better set to come on when the GPU and/or CPU gets warmer. The stock Wraith cooler works for me and 5600x has only been on the warmer side a few times under heavy load. Stress testing does cause it to run hot so a better cooler is needed if you’re really pushing the 5600x. I haven’t been able to get the Corsair RGB RAM to sync with MSI Mystic even though it’s supposedly compatible. I can use Corsair’s software to control it but it’s buggy if Mystic is being used. I have mixed feelings about the Starryfort case. If you want basic RGB and fans it can be a good budget tower if it’s priced correctly. I wouldn’t buy it for higher performance builds. The front airflow isn’t great (intake design issue) and the wiring does feel a little cheap. It has a board for all the RGB plugs in the back and only takes up one RGB slot on the mobo. Be mindful it’s only 3 pin RGB for the case. Fans are all molex, too. It works with Mystic but it’s not that impressive. The case button for the lighting presets is the way to go. There’s only one removable PCI slot for the GPU. The rest are punch outs which really fried me. There’s also a spot in the front that would be perfect for USB-C but is plugged. The mobo is pretty nice and came with a sticker stating it was Ryzen 5 series ready. No issues on first start up. The Wi-Fi antennas are kind of finicky and ill placed. Wi-Fi signal reception seems weak as well.$1,191.92 -
