The first time it ended on my brother's account and was not going to get the coupon since it had not been a month since he received another one. Talked to tech support saying they could not find the build I submitted and recommended that I try submitting it again. I submitted it the build again on Tuesday, to find my build deleted and not found. I did not delete it myself nor did I go to Micro Center's website. I only found out today that my build was gone and was frustrated. Please do not delete my build. I decided to build a new PC using the parts from my old HP Envy Desktop that I used for gaming. I named this project the "Scrap Build" because I had to scavenge for parts from various sources. I visited pawn shops and scoured eBay, Jawa, and Facebook Marketplace to find the needed components. Finally, I found a PC without a GPU on eBay for around $200. Despite the unconventional journey, I replaced the case with the AIR 903 MAX and felt a sense of accomplishment. Looking ahead, I plan to upgrade the 256GB SSD to a 2TB SSD, get a better monitor for 1440p gaming, and add some cosmetic designs inside the case. My current game library includes GTA V, Apex Legends, and Forza Horizon, but I'm open to expanding it as I spend more time on the PC. I would appreciate any tips or upgrade suggestions from those reading this. Thank you for taking the time to read about my PC build!$678.99 -

I wanted to go current gen AMD, but was not sure about stability with 4 sticks DDR5 and Ryzen7000. I've heard it is doable but only at speeds below 4400 MT/s. I ended up with tried-and-true 5950x and DDR4 cranked up to 3200 MT/s. Went with matte black, no-RGB and no sleeved cables.$1,858.91 -

Purchased this for a relative who was looking for a budget PC to be able to play games on their 1080p monitor. Strictly on a budget of $600 and while building with all new parts would have went over their budget, I was able to help them find something used from a friend who was upgrading their setup and selling their old desktop PC. AMD Ryzen 5 5600x CPU- Purchased at Microcenter with a special sale price of $129.99 using their credit card for an additional 5% off. Probably the best price to performance deal I’ve ever seen on a 6 core 12 thread CPU. Asus B550-F - Quality budget B550 board purchased at Microcenter with $20 bundle saving with the CPU and 5% off using their credit card. Has 4 RAM slots and both 5v ARGB and 12V RGB headers. XPG RGB 16gb DDR4 3600mhz - Purchased at Amazon with 3% off using the Amazon credit card. Solid speed for Ryzen 5600x and has RGB! Gigabyte 1tb SSD - Purchased at Amazon as well with 3% off using credit card. Can’t go wrong with any NVME drive honestly. Asus Strix Radeon 570 4gb - Purchased used on eBay. In my opinion, the RX 570 is still the budget king for 1080p gaming. NZXT S340 White - Standard mid-sized ATX case purchased on a long time ago and was used in a previous build, reusing it in this build. This has become my favorite budget case for “clean” builds. For $50 (I originally picked it up years ago) it has tempered glass and looks great. PowerSpec 650w Bronze - Power supply I had from my previous build. It doesn’t have black cables, but since I had sleeved cable extensions it didn’t matter. I assumed a price since I already had it laying around. Gigabyte Aorus ATC800 CPU Cooler - This thing is massive! I really liked the RGB look on this CPU Cooler and filled out the space nicely in this case. Previously had a Corsair H100i which ended up failing, so I wanted to try something different with using a large air CPU cooler. This turned out to be one of my favorite builds so far. I like the theme and it looks super clean!$589.97 -

The original goal was to play Counter-Strike, and now I play all kinds of games ranging from Valorant, Overwatch, Witcher, Red Dead, R6, etc. Something I would have done different in hindsight is getting a stronger processor, as even though I game at 1440p, a stronger processer with more cores would have been better for streaming and school work.$1,147.94 -

My objective was to build a rig on the premise of cost efficiency vs. having the right hardware to get the job done. The problem was temptation. Man that 4090 comes to mind! I did choose to go the AM4 platform's route though. It is a solid choice in my view because it is AMD's best product vs. price to date. Performance turned out to be really good as well. Although it is an older platform I'm still playing games like God of War, Cyberpunk, Doom Eternal, Horizon, and Call of Duty III at more than satisfactory levels. The graphics are still eye-catching and that 6800 XT is a beast and was a great choice for this build! Temperatures are great when gaming as well. I did stress test it with Cinebench R23 and AIDA64 and those results did not even approach borderline.$2,028.62 -

The main reason I built this was because I wanted something smaller that I could use in the living room when I decide to do another higher end build. I really don't do anything crazy when it comes to games anymore, I think the most intensive game I play is still Forza Horizon 5. So with that all in mind, I decided on all of these parts for a smooth 1440p experience. I still debate if I want to make an upgrade to a 5800x3d, but I'm not sure it will be worth it knowing I won't be upgrading anything else in this pc. The CPU and GPU seem to work great together and everything remains cool and quite how it is.$951.82 -

I have moved a lot of PC parts and upgraded but this is the final upgrade. This gaming PC can tackle any 1440p game with no issues and can also compute anything for my work needs. The 5800x3d is the best CPU from AM4 to keep all my frames steady and the 3080 pushes those frames. I know I couldve gotten 'better' components but for the budget, these 2 were the best I can get comfortably without feeling guilty. The PC has no rgb but that's what I like. I wanted to keep it all black (GPU has a little bit of RGB but it's very subtle which is fine). Furthermore, routing the cables in the PC was a breeze due to the SF750's cables being sleeved so bending it was no issue at all.$1,689.95 -

Recently, my old system with an Intel i7-4790k and a GTX 1070ti broke down. I tried for 2 days but could not get it to boot pass window start up loading screen. It's because of that and how outdated it is of a system, I decided to upgrade to a new system. I mostly just doing some lite web browsing as well as doing spreadsheet and video calling. I used to game but since my PC couldn't keep up with the new games as well as life gotten busier I stopped gaming. However, with this new machine of a beast. Every game that I tested now can do well above 100fps with games that goes to the 200fps. So hopefully I can dive back into gaming soon. I went with and Ryzen 7 5800x and ROG Strix B550 motherboard as well as an Radeon RX 7800 XT with the NZXT H6 Flow housing. I know this doesn't have much of an upgrade ability beside from going to the 5800x3d and possibly better GPU however because I want an all-white esthetic and AM4 is the cheapest to go for it.$1,499.92 -

The building process went very smoothly besides my PSU cables being a very tight fit to the GPU. For a budget mid-range PC, I think it's a pretty decent little build.$1,041.92 -

After a couple of years of having an SFF gaming build, I decided that I want to go back to ATX. This build is a combination of reusing parts from the past along with black friday buys. I play Overwatch, Counter Strike 2, Valheim, Elden Ring, and lately have been playing all of the Kingdom Hearts game at 4k. The 3070 works well at 4k for me. On less demanding games I can fully saturate my 160hz 4k monitor, and at more intensive games I can reach 80fps with some graphics tweaks. I plan to upgrade to the 5800x3d, and in the future plan to upgrade to the next gen gpu's, but my 3070 has been treating me great so far so not really pressured to upgrade my gpu yet.$1,194.96 -
