Needlessly buy new things just because we want them and proceed to watch YouTube instead of actually gaming. At least I didn't get a 4090 like a certain friend who literally only plays Minecraft in VR all day. In other news I do use this to play STALKER GAMMA/EFP and stream/record it on my YouTube channel (Venoxium).$1,803.94 -

This is the pc I had after High School I had been saving for a while and then I used grad money to finish the rest. I intended for this PC to be able to handle most of what I throw at it I use things like blender - for 3d modeling / animation / and rigging , OBS for any recording I do, and davinci resolve for video editing. I do also use this pc for my online school work at the moment and its been doing just fine in all these regards. and when the 50 series nvidia GPUs come out I might consider upgrading but I'll see with its pricing for me I do plan on changing the Case and CPU cooler soon though$1,208.92 -

As a kid, I always wanted to have a gaming pc of my own, where I could crush any game I wanted and push the limits of performance. My build started in 2017, and I saved every penny I could find to afford it. It's carried me throughout the years to today, with some upgrades of course. Originally, the build consisted of an Intel Core i5-7600K, MSI Z270 Gaming M7, ASUS GTX 1070 STRIX OC, Samsung 850 PRO, and a Seagate Barracuda 2TB. I play indie games like Lethal Company and Undertale, and big games like Battlefield 2042, Mortal Kombat 1, Five Nights at Freddy's, and VRChat. Throughout the time I spent building my pc, I wish I had purchased the parts at once instead of incrementally buying a part when it was possible. I could've gotten newer hardware had I done the former. In the future, I definitely would like to get a 2TB NVME SSD to replace my Seagate hard drive, and upgrade to 32GB of DDR4 ram. I also foresee a switch to the AMD Ryzen 7000 processor line.$2,646.49 -

Just my daily machine, gaming in 4k, perusing the internet, etc. It gets by playing in 4k but need an upgrade at somepoint to get up to 120hz (fps). I try to shoot for at least 60fps which most games can run med-ultra. Fallout 4, Witcher3, RDR2 run great. MSFS2020 runs about 40fps on high in 4k. As you can see I'm not into RGB and AIOs, all I'm after is performance. Upgrading to a 7800x3d, new Mobo, 4080, m.2 5.0 drive when prices come down.$1,882.91 -

It was time for me to update or "rebuild" the desktop pc I have been using as a workstation in my home-based small business. It does get occasional gaming use as well, so that's the reasoning behind the choice of a midrange card. I know that the 7600 isn't a powerhouse but it lets me get established on the new am5 socket. Down the road, I play to upgrade to a future model of cpu with a higher thread count for even better performance in workstation applications. This will probably be one of the new "3D" architecture Ryzen cpu's.$954.96 -

I intentionally wanted a subtle RGB that barely lit the rest of the case in Low Light. The Phanteks Fans, and small amount of RG on the Case, TUF gpu, and Tuf MoBo do an excellent job of providing 'just enough' light, without being too gamery. I went for a giant Air Cooler over an AIO because I felt like it would be sufficient cooling for the 5950X, with slightly easier maintenance. Other than the Phanteks Fans, I use BeQuiet Fans on the top and back. I wanted the Computer to be tucked away, because the main focus is my stacked Wall Mounted monitor Setup. I built this custom woodgrain desk from floor boards. All the wires are hidden, and I also used Keystone plates to extend the USB C ports all the way to where I sit.$2,412.91
