The goal is to have it last two years for 1080, then 1440 gaming. So a mid tier CPU and GPU will make that happen.$2,344.82 -

If I must describe this build, I must say its been my very first pc handbuilt. The pc case has been with me since my college days and I've come to upgrade it several times. Its a gaming rig built to play some simple games, mmos and adventure games. Everything I've been upgrading has been but the thought: what could I upgrade or add to this build I've swapped out the innards once already and swapped out the gpus 2 times. Made the move from hdds to ssds Witnessed the of Intel, AMD and NVidia Honestly enough most of my parts are left overs from each generation of upgrades that I can't even find my pc case and my old hard drives /ssds Added 2 monitor mounts which made it look like a cockpit of a mech . I even shucked a 12 TB external hard drive as well and still have a cd drive Added 3 monitors for each generation of display. 720p to 2k and from 60hz to 165hz too And even decided to screw around with a projector too. (sadly I went too cheap with the projector I guess) The thrill of this mess and what each upgrade allowed me was no doubt a long journey of glee and Micro center indulged all my needs. The next thing I must upgrade is a new pc case... cuz its falling a bit apart.$1,271.95 -

On weekends it’s for gaming and watching YouTube and on weekdays it’s for homework and if I have time (which I won’t) it’s for the same stuff as weekends. I will probably get a better monitor, a few more fans and more storage like a fast m.2 but it’s a great pc and it doesn’t need to be upgraded in several years.$1,846.92 -

The culmination of a couple years of researching, budgeting and selling stuff. I finally was able to fully upgrade the PC that i bought second hand a while back. I bought most of the parts from microcenter and went there every other week just to understand more and more about building a computer. The PC people were super helpful and helped me understand what i really needed for my uses. The rest of the parts were from GameStop because i had credit from a mistake they made 300$ purchase lol. In terms of my uses for it, I use it to stream, game and to do graphic design. I do a lot of photoshop and love to make photshop animations so having 32Gbs of ram is such a huge difference compared to 16Gbs which use to make my computer crash when i made a photshop file with more than 100 frames. In terms of games i play Apex, Destiny 2, Genshin Impact, Valorant, Fortnite and lots of other narrative graphically intense games such as AC valhalla or Horizon Zero Dawn. There is not much i can say about streaming because I just started doing it and i dont feel like ive gotten to a point where im taking it to the limits, but it does exactly what its supposed to do and doesnt impact my gameplay at all. I am also able to use Cloud stream flawlessly Xbox series X in case i want to use my Apex account with all my cosmetics on Xbox when i stream. Smartkinggg on twitch btw. All and all i am really happy with the build and proud of myself for putting it together all on my own with very few hickups. Theres nothing in hindsight that i might have done different other than maybe be a bit more patient and buy everything at once. Also i dont have good places to take a picture of the build from a far so i thought i would focus on the internals and different stages of me building it. Purple is my favorite color in case you couldnt tell lol.$1,736.66 -

Really happy with the 6700XT it gives great fps results in all games I play, like RDR2, Cyberpunk, and Project Cars 2, at High or Ultra settings. Granted, this is all at 1080p, but I personally think 1440p is highly overrated. The one thing I would have done different is to get a better water cooler. This one performs fine, but I think it would have made the build look nicer if I went for an A-RGB cooler, to sync with the lights on the front. I'm also planning on adding PSU extensions to make the inside look more tidy. The stock PSU cables aren't the most beautiful cables, haha.$1,594.22 -

I surf the internet and social media, search for good deals, do some occasional gaming (though I hope to do more of it soon!), watch lots of streaming media, and participate in a group podcast devoted to all things nerdy. This PC is way more powerful than I actually need, but once I start building, I just can't stop upgrading. I'm hoping to upgrade to a Ryzen 5900x soon, though I don't really need to!$2,908.95
