The original goal was to play Counter-Strike, and now I play all kinds of games ranging from Valorant, Overwatch, Witcher, Red Dead, R6, etc. Something I would have done different in hindsight is getting a stronger processor, as even though I game at 1440p, a stronger processer with more cores would have been better for streaming and school work.$1,147.94 -

For the past 10 years, I have been using laptops for work and casual gaming. I am trying to get into streaming, so I want to build a dedicated gaming PC that could also handle some serious gaming and use my laptop as my streaming PC. This PC took me about 6 hours to build and it has been working wonderfully so far.$1,974.94 -

I built this PC for gaming, schoolwork, etc. I had a great experience with AMD the last time I built my PC, so this time I decided to go with them again. They have a great selection of affordable, powerful GPUs. In the low-end to mid-range markets, their GPU always outperforms NVIDIA GPU cards at the lower price point. Anyway, I am very happy with this build so far. It's been running great.$1,529.93 -

It's been working great so far. I have not encountered any games this PC couldn't run. This setup is absolutely perfect for 1440p gaming. The only thing I would not suggest in this build is the 1500-watt PSU. It's unnecessary. I got it during a sale and I didn't know what I was doing. A 800-watt PSU for this build is sufficient.$2,344.93 -

Things have changed a lot over the years. I made some small changes with a case swap, new cooler, and storage back in 2021. Now it's been completely refreshed with a new platform and GPU. It's basically a new build at this point and I'm so glad with how it turned out. Also I 100% needed a GPU sag bracket, this card is HUGE. I mainly use this build for gaming and talking to friends. I recently just finished playing Nier Replicant and Nier Automata. Those were extremely fun! I also upgraded to a 1440p monitor which has been a crazy change. I bought the 7700x, RAM, and Mobo combo deal at Microcenter since that seemed like the most effective way to upgrade from my old 8600k platform. Saved a good 200 ish dollars there. As for my GPU, it is an insane improvement over my previous GTX 1070. Overall I'm happy with how this build as turned out!$1,470.90 -

This is my first PC build in 10 years and first SFF PC. Its a powerhouse and the best PC I've built to date. I play CS2, Diablo 4, Lost Ark, Black Desert and mostly anticipating and excited for Black Myth Wukong. I plan on upgrading to 7900 XT in the near future so then I won't have to upgrade for years to come. This build was super easy for an SFF ITX build because it came with PSU and custom AIO bundle so I didn't have to think about which of those two parts to buy. Even though it was fairy easy it did take me quite some time to finish the build because I wanted to make sure everything was right. I've had to take the PC apart many times and initially I thought it was going to be a pain because of the size but its actually super easy to service as all the panels come off. I've actually changed parts a few times and added custom cables so I had to make many micro adjustments so it gets easier and faster each time. One small "mod" I did to fit the bottom thick 28mm 120mm fans on the bottom was I had to elevate the GPU and to do that I added 4 6-32 nuts and 3/4" screw. It adds about 10mm in height giving it just enough clearance to fit the fans. I hope everyone enjoys this build as much as I did!$1,658.37 -

I decided after years and years of using a gaming laptop that enough was enough and it was time to do a proper PC upgrade so I could play whatever I wanted while having as many internet browser tabs open without the fans sounding like a rocket at liftoff. Originally had in mind a smaller case and a cheaper build but as the GPU shortage affected what I could get and with the launch of Intel's 12th gen CPUs I decided to spec it higher. I was a bit limited by what I had already bought at that point (primarily the AIO, would get a 360mm if I could go back and redo it). I knew I wanted a white build and since I've been playing Genshin Impact since day one, I decided to theme this build around Celestia / Mondstadt and my favourite characters. Never built a system before so was excited to put something together with a top of the line GPU and CPU combo. All items were purchased within around a week, taking advantage of some online Black Friday sales This system is primarily for gaming, and some video editing, I've paired it with a LG 32GP750 1440p 165Hz monitor, I also have it hooked up to a 55" Sony X90k to run 4k 120Hz. No complaints putting everything together, the popular Corsair 4000D was super easy for install and had more than ample room for the huge 7900XTX, also no crazy RGB here, just simple and neat. Temps have been good so far, the Peerless Assassin cooler is plenty, I have yet to see temps run past about 70c with gaming use. There's definitely coil whine coming from the GPU during intensive gameplay, can be annoying but not a huge deal when you have your volume up or headphones in.$2,027.92 -

Purpose of the Build: My build is geared towards an immersive gaming experience. With a focus on playing games like Apex, COD, and Assassin's Creed, I aimed to create a powerful rig that delivers exceptional performance for my gaming preferences. Gaming Preferences: I'm a fan of intense and action-packed games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and the engaging narratives of Assassin's Creed. The build is tailored to handle these games seamlessly, providing a visually stunning and responsive gaming environment. Content Creation and Coding: While my primary use is gaming, I also dabble in coding during my free time. The build, with its robust specifications, ensures smooth coding sessions and fast compilation times. Future Upgrades: Currently, I find my build more than capable for my gaming and coding needs, so there are no immediate plans for future upgrades. The current configuration meets my requirements effectively. Hindsight Considerations: In hindsight, I might have opted for a 360 AIO cooling solution, but this would have required a larger case. If I were to revisit my choices, the Corsair 5000D would have been my top pick for a case that accommodates a 360 AIO while providing ample space for future expansions.$2,149.91 -

New High end gaming/editing desktop PC with RTX 3070 & Ryzen 7 3700, build for a relative that was looking to buy a PC and was about to buy a pre-built but convinced them to build a cheaper similar build. Bought some parts pre-owned/used as it saved a ton of money and gives room for them to upgrade later in the future.$904.96 -

I built this PC for gaming because of the parts that I picked and this PC has came a long way with me and I am very happy and grateful for having this with me for future upgrades I might upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 9 7800x and the motherboard to get the maximum performance I can get. I'm so happy for taking all my time with this PC and saving up to build this amazing build.$1,709.93 -
