I built it during quarantine as a gaming rig for me and my brother and eventually my sister because our old dell desktop couldn’t handle the games anymore. We usually play Minecraft, CoD, and other multiplayer games. We also use it to do school work and 3d printing software.$404.98 -

(I have an Alienware R7 that's on its last legs) I built this PC for my Dad. He saw how much fun I was having in my games, so he wanted to get into gaming without breaking the bank. We played Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, and Fortnite, and he's been having a blast on his time off from work. I'm glad that everything turned out ok, and for the price to performance, I'm really glad about how everything turned out. Along with that, I wanted this to be an upgrade to our family's main workstation PC which was an ancient HP desktop that we got back in 2008. For what he does, it will last him for another 5-10 years. Thanks to Micro Center for stocking all of these parts at great prices!$561.76 -

I built this rig with the intention to play mostly FPS games like Apex and do some light 3D modeling on the side. After Covid hit I realized how lucky I was to get an upgrade from my previous laptop as it made online school much easier when running programs like Revit, building the rig also gave me a basic understanding of computers which helped me to take a tech support class. I think if I built this rig in the future I would have saved a bit more and opted for a larger hard drive but I managed to salvage a HDD from a laptop for extra storage even though it isn't the fastest thing in the world. In the near future I would like to upgrade to a monitor with a higher refresh rate.$723.90 -

I built this gaming build during Corona as I was getting a little bored not being able to play with friends much outside, so me and my dad decided to build me a gaming pc from micro center. That is exactly what we did. I have also used this pc for online school and stuff, (though I am going in person school now). The games I will play on this beast are Satisfactory, Death Stranding, and Fortnight. Even though this is a good pc for 1080p gaming, 1440p is the next level of gaming. When I am not using this pc I put it towards the “Folding@Home” project as I like to help people and using my computer power to help generate info and maybe even a cure for a disease, that makes me feel happy 😀. My pc is sometimes even used by my dad when he needs it for his work and having all of this computing power makes him see a big difference between his work laptop and my gaming desktop. Even though this pc isn't the nicest and doesn’t have all the Rgb, after all this is a budget build and it games perfectly.$790.91 -

I wanted a PC that I could use for gaming, streaming, and editing videos. I mostly play first person shooter games and have played League of Legends. I also have a YouTube channel which I create vlogs to share my life with the world. With my love for gaming, I also decided to start streaming on Twitch. I had a lot of help from my friend when I was building this PC. I wish I knew how small and tight mini-ATX motherboards were. Even with my tiny hands, plugging in everything was kind of tough. In the end, I am really happy with my build. It allows me to be able to do everything I want without overheating or the PC slowing down. I eventually would like to upgrade my case fans and RAM to add more color.$792.66 -

The goal of this machine is to play Destiny 2 ( a faitly demanding game, especially on cpu) on high frames on medium settings. I started with the card (1660 ti) and built around that. When I drew up the costs, I realized I could do a micro atx form factor for not much more than standard atx, so I went that direction.$809.92 -

This is my first PC build, and I wanted to exceed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 recommended specs while working around my current 1080p 60 Hz monitor. I wanted something relatively compact that would work well for now, but would be easily upgradeable when I get a better monitor. Likely PC upgrades will be an RTX GPU and DDR4 3600 RAM, perhaps aftermarket CPU cooling. In hindsight I would probably opt for the faster RAM right out of the gate, but it's been a solid performer so far.$812.90
