The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. Performance is great at 1080p and even 1440p as the RTX 3060 is still a great card for most games. The white Powerspec power supply with white cable sleeves really completes this PC as only the GPU and motherboard stand out as not matching the colour scheme.$675.93 -

All those random gift cards acquired through the last month of holidays were using to subsidize the acquisition costs associated with on a new power supply (Corsair 100w), graphics card (7800 XT 16gb), and cpu cooler. I decided to keep my existing cpu (AMD Ryzen 5 3600) and motherboard (MSI B450 Tomahawk) because gaming benchmarks still show the 3600 to be pretty decent across the board.$1,074.93 -

I built this machine about 2 and half years ago, for the purpose of gaming with school work mixed into it. I play a wide variety of games which changes all the time; currently sitting at playing Destiny 2, Elden Ring, and Deep Rock Galactic for the most part. Over time I've got some minor upgrades with a major; being that I added M.2s to fill the NVMe slots on the X570 and about just over a year ago, close to two years now, I upgrade my GPU from a 5700x to a 3060. More recently added the Vengeance 2x16gb RAM cards to be the most recent major upgrade I've done. I plan on in the near future upgrading my PSU to allow me some extra room for future upgrades; while also simultaneously planning on my next major upgrade of my CPU, GPU, and possibly motherboard, around the time the 50 series are released by NVIDIA.$1,198.92 -

After my last ATX motherboard died, I decided to turn my mind tower pc in to a mini ITX one. New cooling solution and power supply were used, and it turned out to out performance the same hardware when it was in the old case, probably because I didn't pay any attention to thermals or maintenance for a while. I was glad the system reborn in a new look, and became even more capable in gaming and productivity tasks.$1,862.94 -

On the side got back into playing some of my favorite games such as .hack GU. I built this computer originally for gaming and streaming, but I never got too into the streaming thing so it's mainly a gaming rig. I mostly play Doom Eternal, Forza Horizon 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, Assassin's Creed (specifically Valhalla), and Warzone. In terms of upgrades, the biggest (and most expensive) one I'm looking to do is custom water-cooling. On the more affordable side of upgrades though, I think some RGB ram would top things off nicely. There have been a few upgrades to this system already; from PSU, to case, to GPU. Originally, the case was a Corsair Crystal Series 570X, the original PSU size was about 650W, and the original GPU was an EVGA 1050ti. After the 1050ti I went with the ASUS TUF RX6800XT, but I had to RMA the card two different times for the same exact issues, and nvidia cards were finally becoming affordable and available so I finally have a 3080!$2,404.88
