I built this specifically to handle all video editing and gaming, as well as to have a PC that measured up to my mechanical keyboard and peripherals obsession. I play primarily single player RPGs, and also have to create a good amount of video content for work. I needed something that could handle relatively serious gaming applications as well as the most demanding scenarios Adobe has to offer, and this has been up to the task in absolutely every area. I've also recently discovered the joy that is Moonlight streaming on a hacked Switch, so now I'm able to play PC games on the go without having to purchase a Steam Deck. Next up is modifying my 3D Printer so that I'm able to stop/start/pause/monitor prints both from my PC and on the go. I continue to find new use cases for every hobby I take up, and generally the common thread is needing an adequately powerful PC to run everything. This thing overperforms every single time.$1,399.92 -

This build was 100% motivated by a random impulse purchase at my local Microcenter. I noticed that the newest gen from Intel (13th gen) now had an i3 quad core (4 cores, 8 threads) available and the price at Microcenter was only $99. I decided to grab it and see how much it would bottleneck an older RX 5600 XT that I had going unused. Turns out, the answer is "not at all!"$593.93 -

I posted my previous build before saying I would upgrade some parts, but I went ahead and replaced mostly everything. I went from a Ryzen 5 3600 to and Intel 17-12700k. This processor is freaking nuts. Micro had a bundle sale on it with a Z690 Tuf motherboard and ram. Continuing on, I went from an UpHere air cooler to the Lian Ali Galahad. This aio works wonders with this cpu, 75 degrees and high loads, 30 resting. I also went from 6600xt to a 6750xt. For 100 dollars more, it's worth every cent. It just performs so well with games in general. I average 124fps on high settings with 2k res on Hogwarts. I added 16gigs of more Ram for multitasking purposes, it also looks better with all four films filled up. Lastly, I added a mini monitor for temps and whatnot. I generally got it cause it looks cool. It does have high res tho!$1,598.88 -

I discovered a damaged Digital Storm computer, which I gently upgraded over the course of a few weeks. I had to buy a new one when testing revealed that the motherboard had a dead RAM slot. On Facebook, I came across the ideal one and grabbed it. Place an eBay bid for the aio and power supply. purchased the case and two new sticks of ram from Amazon. Had a used 2070 lying around that I basically acquired for free but listed for 150 dollars. I sold this for $1100 and threw in a slightly modified Redragon keyboard that he really loved. It's a powerful computer. played numerous games with high requirements at 60 frames per second or higher. The case and fans were beautiful to look at as well. The front should be mesh, though.$1,512.94
