I built my pc last year just graduated high school worked over the summer and was able to save enough to build. The main games I play are call of duty and overwatch right now. I don’t plan on upgrading till after college I wanted to spend a lot now on this build so it’ll last and so far it’s amazing on every game. Last thing I am upgrading here is more storage.

I'm a TikTok & Amazon Content Creator where I review products on Amazon and post tech and PC content to TikTok. I'm slowly trying to build my tech audience up and up to the point where I am the king of all custom-PC's and PC modding. My goal with TikTok is for people to see me make the most unique PC builds anyone has ever seen. I built this PC as the first stepping stone in that unique aspect. The PC frame was only available through Amazon thus why it's not visible on the part list.

I play a wide variety of single player games and like games with nice graphics so they are often demanding. Recent games I played include Horizon Zero Dawn, Plague Tale Requiem, and Witcher 3. I play on a 1440p high refresh rate monitor and the 6900 XT has had no trouble delivering 100+ for basically every game I played. It was a nice upgrade over my RTX 3070 although I do miss some of the Nvidia features like DLSS. The 6900 XT is a lot faster though and has 16 GB of VRAM. It even does pretty well in ray traced games. The 13700k is a really powerful CPU probably even overkill for gaming. However it wasn't much more than the 13600k and is helpful on the rare occasions I do rendering or certain data analytics that can utilize a lot of cores/threads. I also really like the Lian LI 205 mesh case I was able to get open box at Micro Center. The RGB fans are nice and it has great airflow. I also like that its not too large, but still able to fit most GPUs. Most of the other parts are standard although I do wish I waited before getting a 4 TB SSD. Prices are much lower now than they were last year.

It started off as a low end computer because I didn't have much money to be able to afford what I desired. And the only reason I was able to afford those PC parts was because I decided to sell some of my electronics. Those electronics include, a Nintendo Switch with all of its games and a few other things I can't remember. And after I save up enough money and bought all my parts from Amazon, only because I didn't know about Micro Center at that time. I know it sucks, and I feel bad for myself for not knowing about it. And that was the worst time for me to start building a computer since it was 2021, when the prices were too high. So my first parts were a Ryzen 3 3200g CPU, an AsRock B450M Pro4 motherboard, Viper rgb 8 GB 3200 Mhz ram, Crucial P2 500GB ssd, Aresgame 450W power supply, and a cheap MSI case. I didn't buy a GPU until 5 months later when I was able to afford one. That was when I found out about Micro Center, so I bought an AMD Radeon RX 6600 MSI MECH 2X GPU for around $460. From there on I started to slowly upgrade my PC. I changed my ram sticks to Crucial RGB 2x8 16GB 3600Mhz. I bought an AIO from cooler master, which lasted me all those months until just recently I upgraded it because my new CPU needed better cooling. Next I upgraded almost everything with the money I saved up from one of the jobs I worked at. I bought a new case, Motherboard, CPU, and new fans. The case was a Fractal design Meshify C, the Motherboard was an MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus, and the CPU was a Ryzen 5 5600g. I was finally able to play more demanding games, which is good because I love playing Campaign open world games like Far cry and Cyberpunk; and multiplayer games like Call Of Duty. And I was not done, I still wanted better gaming quality and performance. I then decided to go big or go home; Once again I saved up money from work and bought an EVGA RTX 3070 Ti, but I wasn't pleased. So I saved up a little more and bought a EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming 10Gb GPU for the low price of $770 US. And i'm not even joking, that price at Micro Center beat every other retailer, so I was very happy. Also another reason why I was able to afford all the upgrades was because I sold all my old parts to friends or other people, and I would help them put the computer together if they needed it. Then I changed my Ram again to some G.Skill Trident Z Rgb 4x8 32Gb 3200Mhz CL16 because why not. And so this year I made my last PC upgrades until I feel the need to change it up. I received an email from Micro Center of a CPU & Motherboard combo deal for an Intel platform, and I've been wanting to upgrade my CPU so that was my chance to which I took. And that was what caused me to change my AIO to a 360 mm for much better cooling. I also forgot to mention a few other parts I added and changed, which were a new case and more SSD storage. I will have all my recent parts listed, so there is no need for me to list them here. Lastly, the name Rem comes from a female from one of my favorite anime, at first sight she isn't so great but over time she becomes a lovable person just like my PC. And her hair is blue which is my favorite color. Finally, all of this happened because I was bored of playing games on console and I wanted to become better since I wasn't making anymore progress on controller. And I was inspired by Linus Tech Tips to build my own rig. I learned almost everything from his YouTube channel. I want to thank you Micro Center for all the amazing deals and for reading my rant of my long journey that lead me here.

This build is specifically designed for 1440p High FPS on High to Max settings. I decided that Ray-Tracing was a feature I didn't really care for or notice even when it was on. I didn't want to break the bank either. I started with absolutely nothing not even a mouse and keyboard. So that will skew the price a little higher. But if you're already equipped and just going for a new PC build this one is great! Without the monitor but including Windows license and the usb to update the bios you're looking at about $1550.00. NOTE - The motherboard, processor, and first 16GB of ram was in a bundle. The graphics card was on sale for 649 and included a 50 dollar discount when purchased with any processor. Your price may vary depending on the bundles available along with any sales going on. Honestly this may not be the highest end equipment, but spending any more will result in diminishing returns. You could get an RTX 4080 or whatever but unless your going for ray tracing we're talking about getting 10 to 20 more frames more than the 140 to 170 for AAA games for 270 to 290 for e-sports games at high/max settings than your already getting. It's just not worth it in my eyes. This, in my eyes, is just the perfect build.

Keeping things updated with minimal RGB lighting and plenty of room for upgrades later like m.2, ssd, and ram. With the micro center promotion, i went with i5 12600k and paired it with z690-plus tuf wifi d4, radeon 6950 xt reference card (best stealth looking card in black). I got the big air cooler, deepcool ak620, so if i wanted to overclock the cpu it will be plenty to handle. Top that up with gskill ripjaws ddr4-3200 32gb, wd sn770 1tb and corsair rx850x. The lian li 216 case has plenty of room, best air flow with the 2 160mm fans in the front and the best cable management system. I got all the cables tied up without using a single zip-tie. Overall i believe this is the best bang for your bucks pc build.

Originally, wanted to build my dream PC, an ITX build that can fit in my backpack but could run Minecraft with shaders at a high framerate. After completing the build, I found myself gaming less and focusing more on College. Funnily enough, I decided to take a class on Geospatial Informational Systems. This requires us to run a program called ArcGIS. ArcGIS doesn't look like much, but its recommended requirements are: 8-Core CPU, 32GB of ram, a GPU with 6-8GB of Vram. You'd think a program that just draws maps wouldn't need a beefy GPU, but that was wrong lol.

I recently completed this build I started during the holidays, upgrading from an old 4790k system. Micro Center had some great deals on 12th gen Intel CPU bundles, so I thought it was a good time. I bought the RTX 3080 used, but kind of wish I got a new 6800XT from Micro Center instead for around the same price. My main monitor is a 1440p/165hz Acer Predator with only G-Sync which is why I went with Nvidia. I still plan on adding some case fans to my build in the future, but temps are pretty good right now with the Lancool 216 case and Thermalright CPU cooler. Total cost of the build so far is about $1200.
