This started out as a "minor upgrade" to my gaming machine... ended up as a "build completely new machine and only keep the GPU and data drive". And I only kept the data drive since I replaced it a couple of months ago. Components not listed are the RTX 2080ti GPU, a 500GB NVMe as a boot device and a 2TB NVMe for data. Both Samsungs, but I don't remember the exact models (Evo 980 and 970 something). I output to a TV so I'm limited to 60FPS at 4K, and so far I am getting that with the highest settings on every game I've tried with no DLSS.$1,058.63 -

Many components from good Micro Center specials. I was familiar with the Meshify C so used one again, although maybe a more modern case would be better. I am not entirely happy with the default Corsair cables, especially the pigtailed PCIe and also the large capacitor bulge in the ATX cable. So replacements for those may be on the to-do list, or I might depin the pigtailed wires. Otherwise would like some direct cooling on the ram, which might take the form of a few 40mm fans.$1,604.17 -

I built this as a an office desk PC and wanted to build a ITX PC and wanted to show off my components. The Streamcom DA6 features an open air frame with no covers, which allows me to show off all my components, especially the GPU. Unfortunately the case does now allow me to put very large GPUs in. I purchased the 13600k as it was able to be cooled enough by the Noctua low profile cooler. While I was contemplating on getting a 13700k or 13900k, I was hesitant as those are not able to stay cool without thermal throttling alot by a low profile cooler. Cable management was tedious but I spend quite a bit of time to make sure it was cleanly tucked away.$1,366.86 -

One of my friends was looking at upgrading his computer, so I ended up doing a build for him. He told me what he was looking for, and we looked together to find matching parts for his system. We went with a CPU + mobo bundle from microcenter since it was a great value. The NH-D15 was selected instead of an AIO out of an abundance of caution, to avoid the risks of any fluid damage. 6800XT for GPU as it was a great bang for the buck option.$1,606.92
