The aim of this build was a white, upper mid-tier gaming machine with a smaller footprint with a price point under $1500. This was my first time working with the Micro ATX format, I'm happy to be able to start building smaller, lighter machines. The Jonsbo case worked quite well and was overall pretty easy to work with and had plenty of room for everything (the GPU and 140mm bottom mounted case fans were the most difficult parts). The wiring is a bit of a mess, but it's mostly hidden behind the SSD panel. The look could be improved a bit with white power supply cables and perhaps some better finagling of the GPU power connector, but it's fine for us as is.$1,524.92 -

I decided to build a PC in 2022 but wanted a high-end gaming PC under $1500. So, I wandered all PCpartpicker part lists to find the best deals, picking parts that fit my wallet without losing on the aesthetics. I found a 3080 used on marketplace for $480 and bought it without a PC to test if it was working until I built mine (2 months later). Since the seller said, he sold his PC and didn't have another PC to show me if it works. In the end, I pulled the trigger anyways since my urge to get a GPU was high (I checked every website to get one). I was playing with fire, don't do this absurd stupidity! Then working with this case was a pain, but aesthetics are also important. I already explained the reasons on the part reviews. I was planning to purchase only 16GB of ram to save some bucks($1450 build), but you have to go with 4 to get the perfect look. If you want more performance, go for ddr5 instead of ddr4 (the ddr5 version board was at the same price). I could have built a 32GB ddr5 ram with just $20 more, but you only get 2 bars of 16GB. It is called a budget build for a reason, so it's a no-no to buy 4 bars of ddr5 to get aesthetics. I would say this build has a balanced performance-aesthetic ratio. I also plan to buy cables to get even better aesthetics and more extension cables to fix the issue of insufficient ports to connect more devices on my fan controller—no light on my led strip for now. I will update the photos once installed in the future!$1,632.98 -

I use it for work mostly and play chivalry 2, rust and other games when I have time. I tried to keep everything gigabyte but it was difficult with supply issues and LHR cards which drove me to the founders edition 3080. When I built it I used a 1080 from a prebuilt until prices came down and DDR5 ram was also unattainably expensive. Overall I am very happy I don’t overclock and plan to have the computer for a very long time. I may consider the new Radeon cards if they stomp out the 4080 as I have been reading. Overall I am quite pleased and shocked that I was able to put everything together, it took a lot of research but I have learned so much and feel I can fix anything if anything messes up. The cord management in the back is still all over the place, at some point I will take the time to make it all look pretty but that's the greatest thing, having all the room in the back without any larger drives to just have all the cords for the rgb stuff.$2,674.89 -

Built it specifically for 1440p gaming, running virtual machines, general office work and web browsing. The most demanding games I've thrown at it so far are Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 both of which ran amazing at Ultra Settings. The 32GB of ram is used occasionally to run Cisco lab simulators in VMWare. The remainder of the time it's mostly used for web browsing and to play League of Legends. I should have gotten a faster SSD in the beginning and also more of it. Will have to add another 1TB in the near future. Love the case and RGB but Corsair software can be annoying at times. Strimer cables would have made it a bit neater, but I feel that pulling the GPU cables over the top helps a lot already. Built at the height of the GPU shortage. Cost me an arm and a leg but I regret nothing. Would gladly do it all over again.$3,020.00
