Its a basic build I built around 1080p gaming and the 3080 Ti, whichwas a great all around performing GPU that I was able to pick up off one of my local marketplace from a private buyer. I then bought the MB/CPU/RAM/PSU combo off a friend who had upgraded to a newer platform. Since I didn't need anything new and this fit what I needed it for, I also found a H5 Elite case from a private seller on my local marketplace as well and came with a Corsair RM750. Was able to repurpose some SSD I had laying around and all these together to make a complete working PC. I've been playing FO76 mainly and some FFXIV here and there. But mainly this computer is mainly used for YouTube and catching up on web browsing when not working.$1,135.00 -

While not cheap, I was able to build this and keep it under 1k. Aesthetically it's got a lot of white and blue and even has a special sonic the hedgehog motherboard (one of my favorite series). featuring an intel 13500, intel arc a750, 32gb of ddr6 CL28 5600 ram and over 4gb of storage its perfect for now with plenty of room to upgrade. Also it's a full intel build something I wanted to try with the release of the new Arc gpus. Eventually plan to upgrade my gpu whenever Nvidia releases a better deal or intel releases a new series.$961.95 -

Recently I had my older brother mention to me that he was interested in building a budget-friendly pc for him sometime soon that would be close to a PS5 in performance. Well, little does he know that the build is now done! And wiring up this desciption is my way of venting some enthusiam about the build wihout actually giving it to him as a gift this Christmas. He specifdically wants to play the first God of War game on pc because he knows it runs a lot better on pc than on console. I went with an Intel i5 12400 cpu because it's was the best performance-to-price product in my price range. But I did have to buy a seperate air cooler. I didn't want to trust that wimpy Intel air cooler than comes in the retail 12400 package. (It looks basically like the same aluminum cooler they've used for years but now have painted it black.)$751.91 -

Any of my friends or family that come over can logon and play with me on Valorant, COD, fortnite, etc. I don't own any consoles for party games so I built another PC so friends don't feel left out or have to wait and take turns on the main PC, it takes the fun out of it. It's beauty shines from the little bit of lighting from the Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition. This pc is being housed in who knows what it is a Antec case from the dinosaur age because I am too poor to buy an actually good case. I have 2X16GB aka 32GB of 2666mhz CL19. I know it is pretty slow speeds and probably kills the performance of my CPU but I am on a really tight budget. Then Paired with the Intel Arc is the one and only Ryzen 5 5600 with a Thermalright Assassin X 120 R SE cooler. The reason why I went for the Ryzen 5600 is because I edit a lot of videos and need multicore performance for DaVinci resolve. I also game "a lot" (I literally only play Forza, Garry's Mod, and Minecraft) I also used a random old 1000w EVGA power supply which I hope but probably could blow up any moment know due to the amount of screws and dust inside the PSU. Personally this pc does what I need.$789.95 -

I just finished this build to play games and stream on Twitch and upload VODs to Youtube. I play mostly competitive FPS games, so having a high performance PC is important as I dont want my skill or my viewers experience to be limited by my PC hardware. The only part I regret getting is my Samsung 1TB Sata SSD, I shouldve spent more and got a larger Nvme SSD like 4TB, as I am constantly uninstalling games and having to move recorded footage to my NAS to save space. It will be used mainly at 1080p and sometimes I might hook it up to a 1440p monitor to see how it manages. Microcenter was definitely a solid option for me to get the cpu, motherboard (combo discount) and gpu all at prices a little below what they go for on the major online retailers. One thing I might have done wrong was intially trying out an open-box graphics card. I had problems with that one displaying video even on initial motherboard post. With AMD's announcement of Zen 4 with incredibly fast single core, insane IPC increases, and clockspeeds through the roof, I knew I had to have it. My wife and I drove 10 hours to our closest Micro Center (Denver) so we could be there for the Zen 4 launch, and it was so worth it! . I built this PC for gaming, software development, video editing, HiFi audio playback, overclocking, and benchmarking. I mostly play heavily modded Skyrim, No Man's Sky, Forza Horizon 5, and Minecraft, though I also plan on getting back into Fallout 4 in the near future. I'm a software engineer, but I also enjoy writing code in my free time. I also build and sell PCs locally as a hobby/side hustle, which helps to fund my personal systems. Here's the linktree for my PC business: https://linktr.ee/km.pcs . I'll wait until both Nvidia and AMD have released their next-gen GPUs before deciding whether I should upgrade. I want to see reviews with real numbers, especially after Nvidia's laughable 40-series announcement which didn't show raw rasterization (non-DLSS) numbers. AMD's next gen of graphics also looks very promising, so I'll want to see how they'll compare against Nvidia's 40-series before making a decision.$3,869.96 -

I couldn't wait and chose to go with this build; first, I hesitated to use water cooling but decided against it since I didn't want to deal with the maintenance procedure over the long run. I've installed over 9 fans, and it runs without a hitch (I'm partially deaf, lol). Although the 3080 ti was overkill for the price, it has been performing fantastically and can pretty much handle any game without breaking a sweat. Storage-wise, this build's weakest area, I'm hoping to make additional room for 2TB because I was incredibly pressed for time. Overall, this gaming setup was obviously overkill, but I don't regret it. After using my five-year-old budget-built computer, I've been doing research on what parts I feel are worthwhile acquiring and what's good for my long-term use, assuming that I do everything on a daily basis. I multitask while gaming, streaming, and editing videos on my computer. If I had to sum up this entire construct in one sentence, I would say that it was worthwhile and I have no regrets at all.$1,982.94 -

This build has an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor, cooled by a Corsair 360mm AIO. With 64 GB of DDR4-3600 RAM, and an NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti, all housed in a Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL. This build can do everything you throw at it with ease. Gaming - How does Cyberpunk 2077 with settings maxed out and still keeping at least 60 fps sound? Editing - exports 4K video in merely minutes. Now, I don't stream that often, but with 16 cores and 32 threads, when I do, I do it in style.$2,339.94 -
