Up until this point, I had been using a gaming desktop based on a Ryzen 5 3600 cpu and a nvidia gtx 1060 graphics card. I finally reached the point where I was no longer happy with the gaming performance I was getting out of it - namely in playing the recently released game Starfield. I looked at some gaming benchmarks and realized that the 3600 cpu still actually holds its weight pretty well in the realm of midrange gaming. And so ultimately what I did was replace the gtx 1060 with a new AMD RX 6650 XT 8gb graphics card.$658.92 -

I bulit this pc for mainly general use like web browsing but also for gaming in competitive shooters since that is my favorite genre. This pc gets me high fps and good visual clarity for me to be able to spot enemies more easily and I would say it was worth the time and effort to build.$1,610.31 -

He likes his Switch though. I like the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini design but it’s a little too much for my budget so I got the DIYPC case instead. I’m saving and waiting for a good deal on either RX 6700XT or 6800 non XT, then I can use the 6650XT, which is used in this build, to build another computer for my son.$616.96 -

I built this specifically to handle all video editing and gaming, as well as to have a PC that measured up to my mechanical keyboard and peripherals obsession. I play primarily single player RPGs, and also have to create a good amount of video content for work. I needed something that could handle relatively serious gaming applications as well as the most demanding scenarios Adobe has to offer, and this has been up to the task in absolutely every area. I've also recently discovered the joy that is Moonlight streaming on a hacked Switch, so now I'm able to play PC games on the go without having to purchase a Steam Deck. Next up is modifying my 3D Printer so that I'm able to stop/start/pause/monitor prints both from my PC and on the go. I continue to find new use cases for every hobby I take up, and generally the common thread is needing an adequately powerful PC to run everything. This thing overperforms every single time.$1,399.92 -

I had a intel i5 10500 + GTX1080 TI build 3 years ago. I gave the old PC to my younger brother, so he won't bother me no more for computer access. I am going to college soon, so I wanted a smaller PC to be able to move easily and won't take much space as I will be living in shared dorm my first year, so I went with this Mini-ITX case. I had concern about the air flow and temperature of the components when under load because this is a such small case, but it was all good. The CPU runs at ~40C idle and ~70C under load, GPU runs at ~30C idle and ~60C under load with 100% core voltage and maxed power and temp slider in msi afterburner.$2,129.95
