The aim of this build is to be able to play any game in the highest graphic setting in 1080p. This is the build I came up with that does exactly that. The RTX 4060 GPU is great for this build. My consulting business requires some power and my laptop was aging far too rapidly. I also downloaded Baldurs Gate 3 and when it kept crashing that was the final straw, I decided to build my own showcase instead of just building them for other people. With a budget of only $800 I built the most powerful build I could and it takes everything i've thrown at it and then some. I'd like to upgrade the processor as soon as possible and potentially take advantage of DDR5 rather than the current DDR4$892.92 -

Paired with a 144hz monitor, it delivers excellent performance in GPU and CPU intensive games. Played through Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty 2.0 with ray tracing on low and native 1440p (no upscaling) and was able to get a solid 60 (sometimes more depending on location). Will be swapping ram with a RAM kit from the motherboards QVL list soon, with tighter timings and hopefully a working XMP.$2,587.78 -

I built this over the course of 5 months finding parts on sale. Performance-wise, this handles 4K 120Hz on everything I've thrown at it. Only times I scale back quality in games is if the GPU kicks up its coil whine a bit too much. Really stable FPS and benchmarking. Solid machine that should last years at High-Ultra in games. Mixed with 24GB VRAM being a productivity monster. Happy with the end result but I would have done a few things differently. An i7-14700K would have been a nice upgrade, but unnecessary for my use case. A bigger change would be opting for 2x32GB of RAM and/or slightly higher-spec'ed RAM (like 6000 CL30 or 6400 CL32). Aesthetically, I'm really happy with how the silver CPU cooler and tan Noctua fans look through the mesh side panel. If everything was black, you wouldn't notice any components inside and the silver+tan give it a subtle "pop" of character. But, if you're more into RGB than I am than going black on all components will be a nicer look and let your RGB shine.$2,929.90 -

I have always wanted to build my own gaming PC but never had the budget to get specifically what I wanted. But now I was able to save up enough and did a bunch of research on the specs and prices I was looking for and got exactly what I needed for my ideal gaming PC. I mainly want to be able to playing games at ultra graphics and high FPS and knowing that GTA 6 is on its way, I know I'm gonna need something really powerful if I wanna run it that way. I like a wide range of games like 3rd and 1st person shooters and even games like Sims or Planet Zoo or Age of Empires. Even Fifa and some racing games as well. I also use the PC for video editing. Not super high end hollywood crazy stuff but yeah. Just random home vids, I'm still learning. Just got DaVinci Resolve.$1,315.94 -
