This is my primary work from home PC for writing, video editing, and light programming. It's also my gaming PC for the light gaming and emulators I play. Everything is no-nonsense and the best bang-for-the-buck possible - processor, RAM, and motherboard bought on sale, graphics card was MSRP, etc.$1,599.84 -

Finally pulled the trigger on building my first ever PC seeing as GPU prices are at a point that I can actually afford it without feeling ripped off. I put the list together in mind primarily as a gaming and work machine as I'm studying computer science in college. Speaking of college, I used a good chunk of the money I got as basically stimulus checks for this build and technically it is a school expense as I need a PC regardless.$1,617.82 -

I'd say the only thing holding it back is the gpu but for a compact build it's plenty powerful! I would go with a different gpu unless your fine with it being oversized for the case (still max temps are 69 C) I play multiversus, Sons of the Forest, rocket league, Call of Duty warzone 2.0(not much), and Fall guys on this rig now a bit. they all play perfectly except the forest (early access[solid 60ish with stutters]) I would recommend maybe a rx 6700 or 6800 but at least that gives me a upgrade path!$1,671.90 -

My whole group of friends all played computer games and constantly egged me on to get a pc. Unfortunately i did not have money and a job as I was still finishing high school. Soon as I finished I got a job at Target and started putting in the hours to finally get my pc. My build originally started simple with a ryzen 3 2200g, b450 motherboard, 500gb ssd, and a ryzen rx 480 red devil. I wanted to upgrade in the future but knew Target was not going to cut it because high end pc parts are a pretty penny. So I went to trade school and now im an electrician trainee making decent money. After a long job with a total house remodel I happened to be passing micro center on my way home. I was tired but thought "hey why not check it out and maybe treat myself for the hard work" plus I had just gotten a rather large check haha. A friendly employee helped me out and I ended up walking out with pretty much an entire new build worth of upgrades.$1,672.91 -

I think I'm satisfied with this build finally... it took a wile but I'm satisfied. The next upgrade for this case will be the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix Liquid CPU Cooler 360 mm this Corsair case can also accommodate a push pull configuration so I installed 3 Corsair SP120 RGB MMs at the top regardless of my 240mm size radiator doing this was very tricky not for the faint at heart. After all was said and done we have12 fans in total my wife said the rgb fan in the psu makes13...I don't count that one lol. After two corsair node cores and a mountain of cable management I submit this to all the enthusiast Enjoy....$1,723.90 -

This computer was built with the main intention to use it to play games at high FPS and high resolution. I am running a 165 hz monitor and achieve 165 fps in Destiny 2 all day long. There were multiple reasons why I went forward with building this when I did – one of them being for remote working purposes as I am a Graphic Designer full-time for a company in New York City. I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t have streaming and playing video games on the list of reasons why also! Part of me wishes I went with the EVGA RTX 2080 TI XC Ultra GPU rather than my 2080 Super but I’m not complaining. I know I’ll eventually upgrade to a dual SLI at one point or another but with that, I’ll probably need a bigger computer case and a higher wattage power supply. Also going to get another M.2 SSD for my motherboard since two are compatible. I stream a variety of games Part-Time on Facebook and love interacting with new gamers in the chat!$3,231.85 -

The sole purpose was for video editing and music creation. Secondly was to play some light gaming and virtual lab testing system. I am a Musician/IT technician, and music/video is a big part of what I do. So, I needed something that could handle both, and do other things in the process without having to choose weather to close programs because the components are lacking. I use Adobe premiere, photoshop, aftereffects, media encoder, and DaVinci Resolve for video creation and editing. For music I use Pro Tools and Reason. For games I do mostly racing and sports. For my virtual system I use VMware for my test labs for work. With all that said, building something powerful, stable and can handle everything is crucial. I have always used intel for my pass builds but I decided to take a jump to AMD for the first time and must its been great. Went with the Ryzen 3950x and it just powers through everything. Check out the parts I used, some might be overkill but why not lol. I do not like ordering things online and having to wait. So, Microcenter was just the best place to get all the parts I needed to create this build. Just want to say thank you and for making my dream possible.$3,792.92
