After spending weeks coming up with a list of PC components, waiting anxiously for them to go on sale, and getting them delivered to your door, it’s time. You’ve got a phillips head screwdriver in hand, and you’re ready to go. For the purposes of my home PC building guide, I’ve used the following low end parts as an example of how to build a complete computer. These components are also exactly what you need to construct an modest – if a little last generation – Budget Home PC.$600.92 -

This was a budget build I did for a friend, keeping cost in mind, but also a clean look and decent performance. The combination of Ryzen 5600 with RX 6600 is amazing, giving me over 200fps on fortnite (performance mode) on a 1080p, for the budget, this is an amazing build, still looking cool and modern. Sadly, all prices went up in microcenter a month later and I'm not able to replicate this build, the cheapest I could find was a Ryzen 5500 with GTX 1660 Super and a B450 board, paying over $50 on tob of this build, too sad.$664.91 -

The point of this PC was to be a huge focus on value, not spending any money on anything unnecessary but still looking clean and with some RGB. Performance is great at 1080p and even 1440p as the RTX 3060 is still a great card for most games. The white Powerspec power supply with white cable sleeves really completes this PC as only the GPU and motherboard stand out as not matching the colour scheme.$675.93 -

Some of the games the games I play are Call of Duty and Forza which the Gigabyte RX 5500 XT handled perfectly during casual gaming at 1080p. For school, I have many programs running which is why the extra ram was very helpful. Some things I plan on doing in the future are switching graphics cards when the Radeon graphic cards come out or the new 3000 series from NVIDIA come out and adding a new B550 motherboard later down the line.$683.86 -

Its purpose is mainly to game, but it also serves as my general use computer doing things like browsing, and I've also been learning some blender. I upgraded from my old PC to this so I could better play cyberpunk 2077 when it comes out, that's also why i went with the cyberpunk aesthetic. Personally I plan on upgrading the graphics card when the new ones come out later this year and I would add RGB but to be honest I'm not a big fan of it when I'm gaming in the dark though it would be cool to add some rgb behind the samurai head logo.$739.94 -

I went to Microcenter to make an AMD 3400G build since I wanted a budget build and no GPUs were in stock previously. Then the unthinkable happened... A wild 1650 appeard on the shelf staring at me. I had to grab and change up my budget build a little bit. All in all I was able to keep it all under $1000 (considering I already had a case and a Seagate 2TB 7200RPM HDD). The picture of the rig is just built and went through bios. Cable management was okay but I think i can pretty it up just a little bit but overall it works as intended.$761.91 -

I bought a Macbook Air for my sister years ago and it seemed she was in need of an upgrade. We went for an under $1000 budget on this build. The main uses for the computer is to browse, watch videos, listen to music, and maybe light gaming in the future. I was lucky to grab an open box for the GPU and it works well! A 240mm AIO upgrade would be awesome for this build so it can help lower the temps compared to the stock cooler. I added an additional two NZXT case fans as intakes in the front; I wasn't using them in my build and works perfect for here!$784.93 -

Went with Micro ATX form factor and single color RGB fans for simplicity. AMD processor with AMD graphic card is a plus. Sticked to standard 16GB RAM and 1TB NVMe and didn't go crazy with specs. No case mod cables as well but still looks good with neat cable management.$845.95 -

Built mainly for price to performance gaming and school work. i sold my original build (i7 3770k, msi gtx 650) and saved to build this after working hard this summer, picked the parts based on best price to performance deals. i chose black and red so that i can match my desk and hyper fury x full table mouse pad. if i were to upgrade my set up it would be the monitor from a 75 hz monitor to a 144 hz monitor. i would also upgrade the graphics card and buy an ssd for winodows. with the extra money i can help upgrade my little brothers pc while upgrading mine aswell.$894.19 -

I built it on a whim because I was tired of in-game lag and friends complaining about my unreliability when I was playing on a Mac. Originally, I was just going to buy one but decided two-day shipping was two days too long...so I drove to Micro Center, splurged a bit on parts, and built this that same day. Now I can play League, stream on Twitch (KiNGC0NNIE), and run discord all at the same time. The only things I might do differently in hindsight is get a better gpu and paint some of the parts white to give it a cleaner look. Maybe I'll upgrade it someday, but "Geisha" is more than enough for what I need right now. Never thought I'd build my own pc but it was not as difficult as I expected and definitely a fun learning experience. So excited to turn on my pc every morning!$962.91
