I decided that I did not want to spend money on a pc so I went to facebook marketplace and Letgo where over the course of the last few months I was able to get free pc parts from various different sellers. So the following pictures and parts are the culmination of my work of collecting free PC parts that I will eventually turn into my own server. The CPU and motherboard are from an old Lenovo Erazer prebuilt PC. I plan to add more hard drives so that it can function as a true server.$0.00 -

I build this pc with the most basic parts ever I tried building this to show its very easy to make/get a pc these days. This PC is special cause I found this out near a dumpster and I found it having all the parts a gpu cpu etc. I took it home and tested it and luckily it worked. This build is a home server that I built using old PC parts and some drives that I was able to scavenge from old unused externals. It cost me pretty much nothing, and now I use it to store files, movies, and family photos. Obviously as a kind of Frankenstein machine there are some odd bits and bobs but for its purpose it works incredibly well.$1,583.93
