Upgrade to Aging 2013 build, I wanted to be able to play at max on 1080p on all games and max on 1440p on most games, my friend gave me the RTX 2080 super and the tuf gaming case and the ryzen 7 3700x so that helped reduce costs alot on build. I already had monitor and speakers for this build along with some external drives.$434.95 -

With online tutorials, I managed to light it up for the first time. I built it during the COVID pandemic, making it challenging to find a graphics card. I settled for a 3700G just to get the PC running. Luckily, I snagged a 3070 Ti FE from Best Buy after lining up all night. I finally completed my rig, and so far, everything is working perfectly for all the games I've played :)$1,139.92 -

I built it because i was tired of using oem bloated systems that were so limited in upgrade ability , the lack of cooling from sealed metal boxes, and bloatware, games never reached its full potential, but now, I decided after 3 years of wishing, dreaming of building my own system, and play games was finally complete, but of course this is just the beginning, i will slowly further upgrade this setup in the future, and I hope for now many of you like this starter setup.$1,234.87 -

I am playing Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and Avatar now. Probably more later. I really am glad to have gone all AMD with it. the processor and graphics cards are basically sleeping even while playing on high graphics mode. I sometimes have the performance view of task manager up and I've yet to crack 50% usage. Only thing I may have done differently is a different motherboard. It works fine, but it tried to install a manager that did NOT work. when installed it froze the computer after running. I had to boot into safe mode to get rid of it by deleting manually and removing from the registry. Trying to uninstall froze everything as well. So DON"T install the gigabyte management software.$1,269.94 -

I built this computer because for 3 years, I have been limited to playing games such as Fortnite and Minecraft on my old pc, which had an AMD Ryzen 3, Integrated graphics, and I would always have to turn down my game settings to the very lowest possible just to squeeze out 30fps. It was difficult doing even schoolwork on this computer, and one day after having to pay $300 dollars just to get an issue fixed, I decided that I was going to start saving up for a computer which would be much better than the one I currently had. I saved up all the money I could, and after almost a year of waiting I finally built it. With this new setup, I plan to play games I could have never played before, such as Rainbow Six Seige, Starfield, and more which I will discover. If I could go back, I would switch to an NZXT H6 Flow as opposed the H9, due to its similar look and the RGB version being cheaper than the H9 and coming with RGB fans. I would also switch the motherboard, since this current one only has one ARGB header, making me have to daisy chain 11 argb devices into one header. In future upgrades I plan to add some Lian-Li strimers, as they will look much better than the stock cables I have right now.$1,427.88 -

This was my first time ever doing this. For being a first-timer, this took me about 8 hours to do. I could not have done this without the help of a friend of mine. However, as I have been doing things with computers for about 15 years now (most of my life), I knew I would be able to do this. I did not assemble this computer with any sort of specific purpose intended. I built it, more so, for playing games and whatever my future needs down the road may end up being. Once I had a previous computer fail on me after only a year, I felt it was time to try assembling a computer myself. Currently, I play ROBLOX, some of my older CD-ROM-based games (for the most part, I use older computers for doing this though), and every now and then, I will play something other than that. I used some higher-end components in this system for several reasons. I like to have a lot of programs running on a computer at once, which is something my really old 2014 Dell Inspiron was not great at doing. As an example, I may have 2-3 virtual machines running, several web browser tabs, a game, OBS recording, and Discord all at once. With all that, I still have plenty of RAM left over for opening something even more than that. Currently, I am using a 2014 Samsung S22C300 monitor, bought it new with a Dell Inspiron I bought in 2014. I did debate about replacing this monitor, but as it works fine, I decided not to. I have a set of Logitech Z200 speakers, I have owned since 2018, they have been good enough for my needs. As a mouse, I use a basic Logitech M100 mouse, as I am not too crazy about those fancy "gaming" mice, I just like something basic, and besides, why change something I have been using for years if it still works fine? For a keyboard, I am using a Razer BlackWidow V3 I bought nearly a year ago. This keyboard has the only RGB I am using on this setup, simply because RGB isn't really my thing. Besides the paint chipping, the only other thing I don't like about this tower is that making the cords look more presentable was something I was not able to do. I have checked to make sure, that no fans or vents are obstructed.$1,451.90 -

Recently, my old system with an Intel i7-4790k and a GTX 1070ti broke down. I tried for 2 days but could not get it to boot pass window start up loading screen. It's because of that and how outdated it is of a system, I decided to upgrade to a new system. I mostly just doing some lite web browsing as well as doing spreadsheet and video calling. I used to game but since my PC couldn't keep up with the new games as well as life gotten busier I stopped gaming. However, with this new machine of a beast. Every game that I tested now can do well above 100fps with games that goes to the 200fps. So hopefully I can dive back into gaming soon. I went with and Ryzen 7 5800x and ROG Strix B550 motherboard as well as an Radeon RX 7800 XT with the NZXT H6 Flow housing. I know this doesn't have much of an upgrade ability beside from going to the 5800x3d and possibly better GPU however because I want an all-white esthetic and AM4 is the cheapest to go for it.$1,499.92 -

After having bought a 1440p monitor, I was still using a laptop with a 1660ti GPU that was unable to fully utilize this monitor's gaming capability. I wanted a PC that was powerful and in line with the current generation of hardware because I wanted it to last me a long time, and to be capable of working with me no matter what my next ambition is. While initially building this PC, I had an EVGA AIO cooler ready to use for the CPU, however, the case I was using couldn't fit the radiator anywhere. So I ended up trading in that cooler for a DeepCool AK620 at microcenter, and since then it works perfectly. However, just several weeks later I replaced the case as well since the old one did not provide enough airflow and temps were still relatively high. If I had known beforehand that I would get a case that would better fit an AIO cooler, I wish I would've kept it.$1,510.78 -
