I built my gaming rig because i always wanted to build a very powerful mini-itx rig. Upgraded from a ATX standard size 1st Generation Ryzen. I mainly just play FPS games , MMO's occasionally and game with IRL friends. I stream here or there once every blue moon. i think the things i might have done different is pick out a bigger SFX powersupply, a stronger CPU, and run a small AIO water cooler possibly my hyper 212 evo although nice, rubs against my glass side panel.$1,779.92 -

I built this PC so that I could game in a college dorm in a small chassis that has plenty of airflow. I upgraded most of my old components into this build, and included an XFX RX 7900XTX, 5800x3d, 3tb of ssd storage, a 240mm AIO watercooler, and 2 hard drives into a tiny 18 liter case.$1,831.93 -

After my last ATX motherboard died, I decided to turn my mind tower pc in to a mini ITX one. New cooling solution and power supply were used, and it turned out to out performance the same hardware when it was in the old case, probably because I didn't pay any attention to thermals or maintenance for a while. I was glad the system reborn in a new look, and became even more capable in gaming and productivity tasks.$1,862.94 -

I'm a graphic designer and have used laptops exclusively in the past. I finally decided now was the time to build a desktop PC, which I could use for some freelance work as well as gaming (let's be real... mostly gaming). I knew if I was going to build a PC I wanted it to be a clean build, I love seeing systems with great cable management and components that are all matching colors, so that was a priority for me. I'm a pretty big Star Wars nerd, so I decided to go with a Stormtrooper-themed build (black and white). I do plan to add some custom vinyl decals to enhance the Stormtrooper theme even more, but I'm very pleased with how the build turned out and I am looking forward to seeing how it performs in some games! Speaking of games, my preferred genre is open-world adventure games, such as GTA, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, etc. So it's probably no surprise that I'm super excited for Star Wars Outlaws as well as Starfield. On occasion, I want a more relaxing gaming experience, and in those cases, I typically turn to puzzle games. I enjoy playing heavy story games that require puzzles to be solved in order to move forward. 'Portal 2' is a game I've replayed over and over, more recently I fell in love with 'Stray' and look forward to playing it again (except now on a fancy PC with amazing graphics) and I've also found the game 'Humanity' to be very entertaining, and sometimes frustrating too :) I think the one thing I'm looking forward to more than everything else is the PC gamer community. I've already met so many cool, nerdy, super nice people throughout the process of choosing parts and building my PC and it's really been fun to meet people who all have a common interest in everything computers. Because I live in Indianapolis, I have to shout out the new Microcenter that just opened. I was SO pumped to have a Microcenter close to me and it was the push I needed to dive into this amazing community!$1,957.93 -

I had been using my old PC for the previous five years when I realized it was time to replace. I couldn't wait and chose to go with this build; first, I hesitated to use water cooling but decided against it since I didn't want to deal with the maintenance procedure over the long run. I've installed over 9 fans, and it runs without a hitch (I'm partially deaf, lol). Although the 3080 ti was overkill for the price, it has been performing fantastically and can pretty much handle any game without breaking a sweat. Storage-wise, this build's weakest area, I'm hoping to make additional room for 2TB because I was incredibly pressed for time. Overall, this gaming setup was obviously overkill, but I don't regret it. After using my five-year-old budget-built computer, I've been doing research on what parts I feel are worthwhile acquiring and what's good for my long-term use, assuming that I do everything on a daily basis. I multitask while gaming, streaming, and editing videos on my computer. If I had to sum up this entire construct in one sentence, I would say that it was worthwhile and I have no regrets at all.$1,982.94 -

Wanting to build a Mini ITX system for a long time as I find ATX was getting to big, looking around everyone recommended a NR200P. It seems like it is the new O11 dynamic! I wanted a compact desktop PC for video editing and gaming, so I ended up with this mini itx build. Although it's compact, it packs a punch! It's extremely fast rendering my video project compared to my old pc. It's great for gaming as well. I primarily wanted my desktop to take up as small a space as possible and found building out of the NR200 case to be very satisfying. 7900 XT plays anything thrown at it - blew through Starfield at max settings. Highly recommend undervolting the GPU to save thermals. A less power hungry CPU would be even better to reduce heat. As much as I like the SFX-L Asus Loki PSU I chose, I recommend an SFX to gain GPU clearance. Highly advise against an ATX PSU as airflow becomes very difficult to manage. I would also recommend a shorter cooler than the Noctua NH-D15 as I had to force the mesh side panel closed.$2,345.89 -
