I started off with a console and found myself hitting a cap on my gaming skills and decided it was time for an upgrade. I worked a bit harder and pooled some money together after watching countless youtubers build budget systems using Dell Optiplex's but upon agreeing to my dad to check out the micro center, I was shocked! I quickly sold my xbox and a few of my old games and shoes and headed down to micro center and found the best motherboard cpu deals! If I win, I will use the money to purchase the all new RTX 3070 which has a starting price of exactly 499$ and will be a huge step up from my GTX 1650 Super!$546.44 -

As for this build, I am super proud of, I have been building computers for years and this one takes the cake and you want to come back for more. This was built as a gift for a friend who has been thinking about streaming but did not have a great PC but also a console gamer. So a few friends got together and decided to put this in motion. We knew she is heavily into Overwatch, and their favorite character is Symmetra. With this in mind, I decided to do a Symmetra and Overwatch inspired build. Color matching can sometimes be difficult but the blue case fans & gray black of the case with the different skins that she has in-game would not be an issue. It shows off an aura and has a custom painted Overwatch logo (gray) on the side panel (Can be seen on Instagram). The best part of all of this is giving someone a gift that they had no idea was coming. Do good in the world, we need more of that.$859.91 -

A complete beast of a PC that I have spent 1.3k on- The Pros: - Runs fast and has DLSS 2.0 Compatibility - Quiet, barely makes a sound - Has easily swapable parts that help with upgrades and the like. The Cons: - Silicon is Expensive :D - No Heatsink on I/O for MoBo, and only one heatsink for 2nd NVME Slot (No surprise there) - Will have to upgrade in 5 years or so What is it used for? - Content Creation, more specifically 1080p Video Editing and the like - Gaming, and lots of it thanks to the graphics it can pull off - Just messing around and whatever I need it to do. The Core i5 pulls it's weight by the ton, I've never used something this fast before. Advice- I actually got my Monitor from Costco, it's only 199.99 and runs like a dream. Also, be careful with the case screws, if you don't get them right the first time putting in your GPU will be a nightmare. Also, for GPUs, if you intend on getting an EVGA brand one look for their B-stock, it often eliminates anywhere from 30-100 dollars off their cards ;) Overall, happy with my first build and would 10/10 Recommend$1,041.91 -

My main games at the moment are Valorant, Apex Legends, and Genshin Impact. Introducing my latest creation, a build that combines power, efficiency, and aesthetics to cater to both my professional and personal computing needs. At the heart of this machine is the mighty Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core CPU, coupled with NVIDIA RTX A4000 workstation GPU, 64GB of 3200MHz RAM, all nestled mostly* inside the sleek and compact Fractal Terra Mini case. Why I Built It: As a manufacturing engineer, I work extensively with software and require a system that can effortlessly manage complex modeling in SolidWorks and render Unreal Engine graphics. Simultaneously, as a lifelong gaming enthusiast, I wanted a rig capable of delivering unparalleled gaming experiences. From my daily work routines to unwinding with the latest AAA titles, this build fits the bill. This rig has transformed my workflow, enabling faster render times, smoother gaming experiences, and overall improved efficiency. Professional Work: In my profession, time and precision are of the essence. Whether it's modeling intricate designs in SolidWorks or handling software integral to manufacturing engineering, the synergy of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000 makes my work more efficient and enjoyable. Gaming: As a gamer, I wanted a system that can conquer the latest AAA titles and provide immersive gameplay. With the powerful combination of Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA RTX A4000, I've been playing games like Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and NFS Heat at ultra-high settings without breaking a sweat. Modeling and Graphics: For my professional pursuits, this build shines in applications like SolidWorks, where precision and performance are paramount. Unreal Engine graphics projects come to life like never before, rendering in real-time and allowing me to explore my creativity in new dimensions. Future Upgrades & Hindsight: In the future, I might explore adding expanded storage capacity to accommodate larger projects. Overall, I am ecstatic with the result. Conclusion: This build is more than just a computer; it's a reflection of my professional life as a manufacturing engineer and my love for gaming and technology. It's a hub for creativity, relaxation, and connection, playing a central role in my daily life. I welcome fellow engineers, gamers, and enthusiasts to share their thoughts, insights, or simply join in the conversation. Let's connect and continue to innovate!$2,174.91 -

The original idea for this pc was to keep at school with me in a smaller form factor than my first pc. With this I would then have a pc at home I could use for much lighter use for the rare occurrences I was home for a weekend. However, this pc went through many, many iterations. It took me building it about 5 times to finally be settled with the parts and the look of the pc. It started with the Lian Li LANCOOL 205M because of its small form - until I saw the 011D Mini in store. From there I wasn't gonna be happy until that was my case. Because of this the build ended up getting much more expensive than I anticipated, but with falling component prices, I believe it was worth it. This PC handles my day-to-day college workload, which primarily consists of software development and some networking. When I have free time I'm an enthusiast gamer and sometimes streamer. I insist on being able to play the newest titles at beautiful graphics settings which is what drove the choice to go for the 3080 - as I believe it's the best high-end bang for the buck card. Right now I've been playing a lot of Battlefront II and I've also been revisiting Cyberpunk 2077 with my new card. I'm extremely happy with this PC however I do have a few upgrades planned for the future. The first being swapping the AIO out for a White NZXT Kraken x63 because I like how the 280mm rad fills out the side intake. Lower priority things include more case fans and MAYBE swapping out the mobo at some point in the future.$2,189.94
