I built my previous gaming desktop 9 years old and it was on its last legs, so when Microcenter had a 3070 open-box barebone kit in stock, I wasted no time to click the reserve button. At the store I grabbed a 11700K and 16GB of RAM to complete the build, also on sale. Putting them together was a breeze because the case came with motherboard, PSU, fans, and liquid cooler already installed and hooked up by Microcenter. I only had to plug in the GPU, RAM and storage. It looks decent, is not too loud when gaming and holds up quite well in some benchmarks I ran. Runs Elden Ring smoothly too, which is what I mainly want at the moment. For future upgrades I think another 16GB of RAM would be nice.$1,092.00 -

My goal for this build was to downsize my rig so that I can reclaim the space of my desk. I previously had an Alienware Aurora R8 that I mainly used for work and gaming, like Battlefield 4, Apex Legends and Assassins Creed. Even thought it was a small Mini-Atx case with cool RGB and sleek design, it was just too big, and loud. After one day having to work on my kitchen table due to the lack of space on my desk, I knew I had to overhaul my machine while downsizing my equipment/desk area being used. I originally had 2 x 24inch monitors at 1440p but even that was way to clunky because I would find myself putting my laptop on my desk because of work. I bit the bullet, got rid of one monitor, changed my arm mount and decided to build a smaller machine. Since my goal was to reduce desk surface area, the NZXT H1 was an obvious choice. Using parts from Microcenter, I was able to finish my build and couldn't be happier with the results. I was even surprised that I could fit an EVTGA 3070 FTW3 in there! Phew... Hopefully you like my new minimalist setup that will be used for work and gaming.$1,249.96 -

Decided to build my own after many enthusiastic YouTube videos. It’s a gaming rig and the first few games I downloaded were halo infinite and the Witcher 3. I got a really good deal on it and decided to combine my old computer with the prebuilt I moved the prebuilt into my case and replaced the ram and combined my ram. It was the first major upgrade I had since the original one I built back in 2010. It was built with Cyberpunk 2077 in mind and allowed me to play that at a level of fidelity I was pleased with. I'm now looking to upgrade the CPU so that will mean getting a new motherboard and RAM along with it, but that'll come a bit later.$1,579.92 -

This was a build that me and my brother did together and with the release of Ark 2 next year, we wanted a pc that would be able to run it. Also, we never had a gaming pc, so this is our first one and we thought we’d get a fairly high end pc to make it worth the while. Another reason my and my brother built this PC was because I wanted to get better at 3d modeling and animation in blender. Before building the computer, I was working on an intel I5 MacBook and it was cutting it, so I was really excited to get a computer to learn more things. I’m also thinking of doing YouTube on the PC and start a gaming channel, and maybe try a bit of streaming at some point. As of now, our build has been completed for about two weeks and it runs at good temperatures and it’s powerful. The games we have so far are mostly free games like valorant and rocket league, but we also have minecraft and Green Hell, but we’re thinking of getting Inside The Backrooms and Valheim.$1,660.87
