I built this PC for general purpose usage (web browsing, image editing, software development, maybe some light gaming, etc).... I built this PC for general purpose usage (web browsing, image editing, software development, maybe some light gaming, etc). I'm pretty happy with it overall. My only complaint might be that I can hear the fans quietly whirring when the room is quiet, but I suppose that's to be expected with a mesh case, and it's not really an issue. I will probably add a couple of HDDs from my old computer for additional storage, but the 1TB SSD is plenty of space and super fast. If I decide to get into PC gaming in the future, I will upgrade the graphics card when prices come down; but the T600 seems more than adequate for general usage.$939.93 -

I built this PC mainly for gaming and general purpose uses to replace my Haswell system that died around 2019. Unfortunately, I was not knowledgeable in computer hardware back in the day and in hindsight I might have gone with some higher end specs in various pieces of hardware that I ended up replacing in the last two years or so.$2,304.90 -

The main reason? I severe, recurring condition some refer to as "upgrade-itis." This condition was triggered for me when I saw microcenter dropped the price of the 13600k. I spent a lot of time researching how to build a PC and watched tons of YouTube videos. Fortunately, everything paid off. I got my first gaming PC that I built myself! It is running great so far. RTX 4080 GPU is a beast. It can run God of War at ultra graphic and still maintain 130+ FPS. I haven't tried other games, but it will probably do well! I didn't expect the GPU to be this chunky, so I didn't buy a riser. I am currently plugging in my RTX 4080 GPU straight into the MB's PCIE port. I am planning to get a GPU riser so it won't stress the PCIE port.$2,629.92
