I built this pc to get into video editing, music creation, heavy gaming and streaming. I dont have any channels yet but im working on it. I got the idea to make a pc after watching bitwit and austin evans make custom pcs inside microcenter and when i found out i live only 1 hour away from microcenter i started planning my build, obssessively checking if motherboards were in stock (the board i was looking for kept getting reserved and sold out). Then one day i see they got a shipment and so i put the items in the cart and reserve them. I only reserved the motherboard and cpu because i was afraid they would sell out. So i planned a small trip with my gf to this store an hour away. At first i was just going to leave with the parts i reserved but walking into the store i saw an opportunity to grab almost everything (excluding graphics card more on that later) for a lot cheaper than i would get in other places and instantly instead of waiting on shipping. Luckily my brother upgraded his computer a couple years back so we had an extra graphics card laying around collecting dust so i decided to wait on the gc, insert the old asus r9 380 and keep looking at microcenter for a good time to upgrade. And thats what i would use this money for. I was looking at getting a rtx 2070 super but with the money i would be saving i can shoot for a 2080 ti! Thanks for reading -Billy Juarez Proud owner of a new pc :) -edit added powersupply to complete build isnt exact model but specs are the same added graphics card i would like to buy (to see full price of build)

This PC was built with no specific purpose other than do anything my busy mind decides to focus on at any moment. I do business, photography, gaming, video editing, streaming and race sim / vr all from this bad boy. Slowly upgrading parts over time allows me to stay on top of the trends but I think I found a point where an upgrade isn't necessary (unless 3080s become easily in stock) I'll try to get better pictures later lol

I also plan on using this with a VR headset soon. I also plan on getting a racing wheel for some sim games. Also MZXT is the name because my name starts with m and the rest is zxt part of nzxt.

I sold my last system (Mad Hatter) the week the Ryzen 3000 series came out. But I didn't have a case to put the new cpu and mobo into. So I made my own makeshift 'test bench-esque' case with random things I happened to have. A few months later, a buddy of mine was finishing up some home projects and I asked him to make me a T frame with any left over wood he had. Fast forward 9 months later, and I finally got the chance to start this project. CPU/MOBO/RAM - Purchased from Microcenter 7/7/19. SSD/HDD - My previous configuration had too many drives. So I got the NVME ssd for the essentials and two 2tb hdds, one for games the other for recordings. GPU - A reason to give my old GTX 1080 to my g/f. CPU Cooler - I knew I wanted to go back to air with this build. I didn't realize this cooler was... this big. CASE - Extra wood a buddy had left over after making a shelf. Extras - Acrylics and Acrylic bender from Performance-PCS. I originally planned this to also have a handle. I purchased the MNPC Tech cnc handles. But as I was building, I realized how heavy this would be. So I'll save those for the next/smaller build. **June Update** Replaced the acrylic panel below the gpu with a wider version. The gpu now looks sad at night. I go back and forth between this PC and a iMac for editing and posting videos. It’s running a AMD r7 3700x I bought from y’all with a MSI x570 Pro Carbon board, 32gb 4400mhz thermaltake memory, Asus ROG Radeon 5700xt OC, msi 360r liquid cooler, cooler master case with extra exhaust fan I installed. 750w EVGA Gold psu. Ran to a Asus Tuff gaming 35” ultra wide 100hz. Using Razer Tournament edition keyboard and Razer Viper mouse. I also use a Razer Wolverine controller and Logitech x52 flight system for certain games. With the 5700xt it runs 1440 res very well games and smooth like butter. In future I’d like to upgrade the GPU (had to go with what I could find at the time) and maybe a good steering wheel pedals and shifter.

Working from home during the Covid-19, I got a bit bored and wanted play some games on my down time. I started playing some games on my Macbook pro as well on my Microsoft Surface Laptop. Didn't get far with my thousand dollar laptop. Was going to buy another laptop but then ended up reading and understanding about building a PC. This is my first build. The main purpose of building this pc was to play games like Watch Dog 2, Need for Speed Heat, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Call of Duty MW Warzone, GTA V, and many more. I also do a lot of construction design reviews using Autodesk programs such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revits, Navisworks, and Bluebeam program. With the PC setup listed below, I've seen FPS between the range of 100 to 150s depending on the games I play. That's with no overclocking. I am using a Dell S3220DGF 32" Curve monitor that I later bought to replace my HP 25er monitor.
