Combination of a workstation/gaming rig, with the secondary PC for some additional gaming for my youngest daughter, streaming, etc. Still need to get a GPU for that 2nd system, however. First PC builld/upgrade in about 12 years. Pulled out all the stops, burned an incredible hole in my wallet in the process. Still have to fine-tune the RGB (and get the appropriate cables for the Lian Li GPU strimer to work correctly). Getting there, however. Top monitors help manage a separate media server.$8,690.70 -

Also, a shocking display of poor financial decisions, but darn if it isn't a beauty. Very portable thanks to the Lian Li TU150's folding handle! Nice glass side to see the the goods inside. Note that one of the pictures doesn't have a glass side (it's aluminum); I originally bought the Lian Li TU150 without the glass panel, then decided I wanted RGB, so I bought the glass panel version. Included the aluminum panel picture to show a different angle/perspective. Originally I didn't plan on RGB because I wanted to be a cool, smug redditor with an overinflated sense of pride for not hopping on the RGB train. Then I realized life is short be happy and screw Reddit, I'm Going RGB Baby. I've included my monitor and peripherals too because I need a page where I can see where all the money I didn't have went to.$5,046.94 -

TIME TO JACK IN I haven't built an all-new rig in 8-10 years, so it was time to pull out all the stops. I wanted: (1) top-tier gaming performance, (2) super quiet cooling (I game on speakers), and (3) small enough to fit in a carry-on case to go to QuakeCon! So, I decided to do a small form-factor build with a custom cooling loop for both CPU and GPU. I've never done SFF nor water cooling before, so ACTIVATE HARD MODE! The design aesthetic is "prototype cyberdeck stolen from a military corp": sleek, bleeding-edge, field-capable, and only in the hands of the finest operators (or a humble gamer like myself). Once everything is settled in, I'm going to get the panels powder coated matte olive drab and add military corp-like markings - and some stickers from the netrunner that stole it. As always, thanks to the Rockville Microcenter crew for their help - especially to get those sweet combo deals!$3,603.85 -

This is a small form factor PC I built in a Louqe Ghost S1 case primarily for gaming. I mostly play games like minecraft, VRChat and Factorio, although I also use it for CAD/engineering work. The center point of this build was the case, a very small machined aluminum case that was very challenging to build in but turned out really nice. The entire case fits in a shoebox, so fitting and cooling an RTX 3070 Ti and an i7-12700k was a challenge, but I managed to keep the GPU temps under 75 at full load and while a 20-core synthetic load causes the CPU to hit triple digits (that's why I call it the EZBake), this never happens during actual use. I had to modify some parts to make everything fit: The GPU had its shroud removed, the case had a few mm of metal dremeled off of the inside so the GPU fans wouldn't clip it, and the motherboard VRM heatsinks experienced some similar weight reduction to clear the heatpipes on the cooler.$2,793.86 -

My computer build is a multi-purpose system and also a love letter to the amazing retro cases from Caselabs. Caselabs went bankrupt in 2018 due to the increase in import tariffs. So, to this day, finding any Caselabs product is rare and treated as collectible. My computer build features a Caselabs S3 with a black interior and white exterior. It is water-cooled using EKWB fittings and waterblocks. The coolant is a Mayhems pastel coolant that changes colors from yellow to green depending on the light. I use my computer for school, but I also built it to play 4k games without breaking a sweat. Some of the best games I've played using this computer are Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, SMITE, and Elden Ring. Some improvements I would make would be to make the custom cables shorter, just so I can reach the drain valve a little easier.$2,336.93 -

I scored Asus Noctua 3070 few weeks ago so decided to do a custom paint job on Meshlicious which was the smallest case I could find that fits this 4.3 slot beast. Stock mesh panels it came with probably provided great airflow but it wasn't gonna give enough visibility for the beautiful card design, so I had to copy Jakeface Custom's idea of creating a clear panel with hole pattern with a laser cutter. Not the most perfect especially around the brown frame with vinyl stickers when looking at it up close, but it turned out pretty good. I also found a post someone posted on r/Noctua that showed a Rustoleum spray can that had almost 99% identical color match to the beige, so most challenging color matching problem of the project was easily bypassed. Painting was pretty straight forward. Sanded the powder coat lightly to roughen up the surface and did the colors, then finished off with clear satin top coat. It's not nearly as strong as the original powder coat, but it'll sit on my desk so I'm hoping it should be more than ok. With it all done, I can't stop looking at it. Overall very satisfying turnout, and hoping to enjoy the heck out of this build.$2,316.20 -

I bult this PC, because I was due for an upgrade and my old rig was struggling with 1440p gaming. Some of my favorite titles to play is Warzone, Battlefield V, Vanguard, Valorant, CSGO, League of Legends, Minecraft and Rocket League.
