I wanted a machine that could last me more than 5 years, and I am confident that this is the one. This machine build is mainly to get me more power for video editing and production as well as photography. I am starting to explore the world of Steam tho lol. I tried to get this machine ProArt as much as I could get it. Other than the case from NXZT (which is AMAZING) and the RAM, everything in this box is ASUS. I wanted to theme the box out will gold highlight, but I really like the decision to go with white for the case. Everything else I left black and the box looks clean AF. I did add a ThermalRight contact frame to this socket, and it has changed my life!!! Highly recommended. I may have also splurged a little when it came to the AIO with the Ryujin III, but........... The Delorean from Back to the Future looks FANTASTIC on it so it's a keeper.$3,299.89 -

An upgrade from my 2010 build, this computer is primarily meant to last another 10 years with Photoshop, web browsing, video-watching, and the occasional video game playing on it. I wanted a solid foundation with the latest Intel processor, DDR5 RAM, SSDs for system and primary storage, and 8TB HDDs in RAID 1 for backup of years of art files and the likes. The GPU is fairly underwhelming, all things considered with this build, but GPU isn't my primary concern and it's also about the easiest thing to swap out when I need to upgrade it. Since I'm not doing water-cooling, I went with a well-ventilated case a Noctua CPU air cooler, and added Noctua's budget fans to the front (using the case's included two fans for a rear and top ventilation.) I also am going with a stealth build... everything is all-black (except the Noctua budget fans... which I may swap or paint later), and I've turned off all lighting (except for the power light.) I do have a slight buzzing from the glass panel of the case that I need to remedy at some point though. I also mis-read the mouse packaging and thought it was a wireless-charging mouse. Instead, it's a standard AA battery. The Keyboard is nice, except that the D key illumination LED is already miscolored days after initial use, and it doesn't keep its key-lighting setting after power-cycles (FN+F12)$3,205.68 -

I built it to do both gaming and content creation. In terms of content creation I am looking to run Blender, Unity, various graphics arts software and 3D printing slicing software(prusa slicer). For fun I plan on playing old games but mostly new COD, Apex Legends, Planet Zoo, Valhiem, just about every Star Wars game ever and ofcourse VR games as well. So in general this is atry to do everything PC a real Renaissanceman device. In the future I plan to increase storage and ram but I may also consider replacing the processor for a newer i9 but that would mean replacing the motherboard and ram. In general I think this is a great build for where I am in my life today and hopefully in the future I can buold upon what I have here!$3,131.91 -

My build started as an upgrade to a 7 year old computer, It had a 5th gen i7-5820 processor on an Asus X-99 chipset motherboard, running 32 Gb DDR4 ram, multiple forms of storage from a 1 Tb Samsung NVME drive, to 3 SSD and 2 HDD totaling close to 10 Tb. Corsair 100 AIO for cooling, and an Asus GTX 1080 graphics card. I first tried just upgrading the graphics card, wondering how much of a bottleneck my processor would be, To my surprise it worked really well upgrading to an Asus Tuff 4070Ti. Then I noticed microcenter had a sale on a new 13th Gen i7, with 32Gigs of DDR5 and a Z790 Asus motherboard. Since I had just been blessed with a financial gift, I went ahead and tried the combo. Wow is all could say, what a night and day difference I noticed running my main sims (MSFS2020 & DCS) as well as with my editing software Lightroom classic and Filmora 12. At this point I thought to myself, after 7 years with my last build it was time to trust the Lord with the finances and finish off the build to my liking. That included the beautifully built and designed NZXT H9 Flow case with Lian Li SL fans and the Lian Li 360 AIO as well as a new MSI Pcie5 ready 850 watt power supply. I also wanted a faster gen 4 M.2 so I added the Samsung 2TB 980 NVME drive with a new key for windows 11. As an avid photographer for my immediate & church family as well as my long time love of flight sims, this new computer is a very appreciated gift from my Lord Jesus Christ. And I am grateful and humbled for the doors he had to open to make it my reality.$2,755.92 -

Needed a new Desktop to replace my aging i7-4930k, that was starting to get seriously bottle necked. Even running with an RTX 3080ti Gaming was not the greatest and relying on a RAID 0 of SSD's was a disaster waiting to happen. Started with a Case that I liked and then picked out the top line CPU and Motherboard Combo. Just so happens that everything was in the ASUS TuF line of products so that became the theme for the build.$2,664.66 -

The goal of this build was to create a powerful and high-performing PC that could handle my gaming needs. With inspirations taken from the Corsair Vengeance pre-built PC lineup, I decided to not take any compromises on hardware parts. The games I had in mind when building this PC were Microsoft Flight Simulator and Forza Horizon 5. Both of these games ran flawlessly, easily exceeding over 144 FPS in ultra settings in 1440p. I intend to keep this PC for the long run as I will keep upgrading it throughout it's lifetime. Some parts I do plan on upgrading when I want to switch over to high-end 4K gaming in the future are faster RAM and GPU. The build process was easy and I didn't run into any difficulties as this is my first PC build ever. Overall, this PC has exceeded my expectations when it comes to gaming from FPS, simulations, to racing games.$2,598.88 -

It's the 2023 holiday sale season, and I was able to get everything on sale! The CPU and Motherboard combo from Microcenter is awesome. I saved over $150 by buying them together. Took me a day to put it together and everything boots up and works perfectly. I will be using this for gaming. And I play mainly FPS games like COD and APEX.$2,594.94 -
