I'm a prepress artist, so I need the real estate of a 34" monitor (3440x1440 resolution). Definitely a bonus when it comes to epic immersive gaming, which consists of mostly FPS and RPGs (Skyrim, Witcher, and the like). Also like simulation now and then, such as Kerbal Space Program, some racing and sci-fi/flight sims. Definitely MUST upgrade my video card, most likely to a 2000-series NVIDIA RTX card, but not ruling out high end AMD Radeon cards either. Some day.$1,419.86 -

A complete beast of a PC that I have spent 1.3k on- The Pros: - Runs fast and has DLSS 2.0 Compatibility - Quiet, barely makes a sound - Has easily swapable parts that help with upgrades and the like. The Cons: - Silicon is Expensive :D - No Heatsink on I/O for MoBo, and only one heatsink for 2nd NVME Slot (No surprise there) - Will have to upgrade in 5 years or so What is it used for? - Content Creation, more specifically 1080p Video Editing and the like - Gaming, and lots of it thanks to the graphics it can pull off - Just messing around and whatever I need it to do. The Core i5 pulls it's weight by the ton, I've never used something this fast before. Advice- I actually got my Monitor from Costco, it's only 199.99 and runs like a dream. Also, be careful with the case screws, if you don't get them right the first time putting in your GPU will be a nightmare. Also, for GPUs, if you intend on getting an EVGA brand one look for their B-stock, it often eliminates anywhere from 30-100 dollars off their cards ;) Overall, happy with my first build and would 10/10 Recommend$1,041.91 -

This is my computer, and its primary purpose is for gaming and schoolwork/everyday use. In terms of games, the Gtx 960 I have is fine for now(although I do want to upgrade to a current en card), and it can decently play 4x and Sim games at 1080p like City Skylines, Civ 6, and Anno 1800. Those are mainly the games I play, although I dabble in a few esports titles like Valorant and Fortnite. I also use this for some light video-editing for assignments/personal projects and CAD through Fusion 360. In the future, I hope to add a mid-tier GPU like a 3060-3060 TI or maybe a 3070 once prices become reasonable, along with 16 more gigs of RAM.$894.94 -
